i learned a lot about snakes this year :) the reptile man came :)he told us a whole bunch of things like only the snakess with the tringle shaped heads have venum :) aand the king combra doesnt really want to fight he just ackts all tuff :P like he tried to get the cobra to open the side thing and i dont remember if he did but i think so... and the boa constricter of holds on to us cuz he/she doesnt want to fall :) he scared us wif the black momba xD and i was close 2 front row x3 lol

It happens in the wild, so people who keep snakes arent gunna start feeding it the nice things like veg (plus they carnivors anyway). I mean we eat meat like cute little lambs, and stuff but u dont see people complaning about that. Its just they way things are its called life, so just get used to it. and dont judge people by what they do, cos the most of us are great people like any other person.

Sorry if I sound annoyed in any way, but i just like to get my point accross.

i have 2 snakes and a corn snake is a good choice becasue there reletivly dont bite and make good pets, and its not the snakes fault it didnt take the food fast enough, its the person who was twirling the mouse around like a dunce, if she had just put it down the snake would have eaten it alot faster.

Ive never heard of that saying but it sounds usefull. And its a corn snake, and their useuall very easy to tell. the ones u gotta be wary of milk snakes and coral snakes, if your inexperienced its easy to get confused which is the posionous one lol.

No its not poisonous theres a saying red touch yellow kill a fellow red touch black poison lack it is referring to the ribbons of colors onthis snake since the black stripes separate the red and yellow stripes it is clearly not poisonous

Hey everyone. My snake is now alot bigger now, it is just over 1 meter. i must admit he did look like abit of a worm then. to ansa one of the questions- how can you tell if it is a boy or a girl, well the way most pepole do it is to take it to the vets or specialised pet shop and have them probe them its too long to explain but im sure if you type it into google it will explain more clearly.

And for the person said that they only eat live animals well in captivity that is untrue, i could have just left it on the cloth for it to just take because i no it would have done, however it is much more interesting for me and the snake to take from my hand. I could never feed a live mouse to my snake, because i am just not that way inclined, however i do not have any objection to people who do feed live mice, because it is only what happenes in real life in there natural habbitats.
