This movie is not a copy of apartment. Only one small story in this movie has a resemblance to Apartment. However even that story takes a different turn. Hollywood lovers grow up and learn to appreciate. Bollywood has totally diff style.

Bollywood does a good job..I can say it doesn't copy a Hollywood movie but it adapts and then refines it eliminating the following elements:

1.The word "Fuck" which is a characteristic of each Hollywood movie.

2. Shitty American African accent and culture

3. Bollywood instills two main ingredients i.e. family values and emotional intensity in a movie.

These are the reasons why Bollywood will soon overtake Hollywood and people are already crazy about Indian movies. Bollywood rocks.
