  • Mowgli-- If you were good, you wouldn't have to "try" to be good. No one is perfect, we all fall short. Trying to be good means your striving toward something you do not have. Read Job. You'll understand why bad things happen to people.

    Oh and one more thing-- If we never had any trials in our lives, then how could God show his unfailing love for us? We wouldn't need it if everything were perfect.
