Yeah, Al Green sample: I was listening to Rakim only today, and then after that I stuck Al Green on the turntables, just for the heck of it. Third song in, Al Green's sample, came on. I know Eric B. got most of his old-skool gems from his parents soul collection; meanwhile Rakim was playing the saxaphone and playing the drums. Rakim still rips shows like it's 1986; his skills just surgically sharp - awe-inspiring, actually! Rakim=God MC!
