i think those axolotl are tres jolie! i don't like the idea of big fish there though because I know my little fishes regularly attacked my axolotl's gills until she ate them both... and to all the haters... fish eat fish in the wild (I know axo's aren't fish) but people still get in a rage..? the only sad thing is they are lions in a cattle ranch.. love the way they react to fish when it moves even a little!

You know you shouldn't put any fish of this size with axolotls in one tank. Axolotls eat everything thats smaller than their body lenght, and if they try to swallow a fish of that size they could suffocate in the worst case, better feed them with small fish, like guppys.

@lamatoe Small feeder fish can be trouble too. They nip the axolotls gills and after a while it can get bad enough to be fatal. I now feed my axolotls in a small tub and put a decent sized goldfish, black widow or tadpole in there with them. I have a video of this on my channel and it's quite effective. (You'll also see the damage caused by feeders on the gold one). Ever since I started doing it this way his gills have recovered and I have had no problems ever since. Hope this is helpful!
