If you want to return to your start position, you can also just select the frame with info where you wish to end, and copy>paste it into the last frame. Then you don't have to muck around trying to match it.

is there a way to animate just a particular body part? without conflicting with walking/standing animations.

You have to script the object for it to fall at a certain point in the animation or something like that.

Thank you so much! I have been looking for a tutorial on a sitting animation or pose. I was confused because I was trying to drag the figure's pelvis in QAvimator further down to the ground because I thought he would be in mid air sitting if I didn't. You helped me to understand that didn't matter.
