Since his days in the W on the Cougars and Tigers, DB was famous for his benevolence and philanthropy. Him and his brothers have a terrific reputation. What Derek did was the hardest job in any sport by a mile and his teammates always appreciated his loyalty on the ice and moral fortitude off it. My deepest condolences to the Boogaard family in Saskatchewan. Your son and brother will be missed.

@supersnowyangel he was found dead with no blood around him or anything, possibly could have been an accidental overdose, didnt seem to have mental issues, medication for the concussions? headaches?, i guess we will find out. RIP.
