This logo isn't scary it's the quality of the video. You can barely even see the light in the window and the sound is muffled. If you've seen ShadowTheHedgehog157's version it's in WAY better quality.

This was the logo of the production company created by Marshall Herskovitz & Edward Zwick in the mid-'80s, best known for "thirtysomething" and "LIFE GOES ON ". Their admiration of "It's A Wonderful Life" {which took place in the fictional town of Bedford Falls, New York} and the sequence in the film where Jimmy Stewart & Donna Reed harmonized on "Buffalo Gals", inspired them to create this unique logo...

While this logo isn't scary, there is something very unsettling about it. Even if it is based on one of our favorite Christmas movies ever.

Maybe it's that most logos don't have singing voices. Or that the prospect of a big house in the night is a little scary. Or that the singers sound a little discombobulated.

Well, scary or not it achieved what it was supposed to. It stuck in people's minds. I couldn't remember the name of company, but I always remembered it from the closing credits of "My So Called Life" and I was amazed to find that someone had uploaded it on YouTube.
