there ought to be regular inspection requirements for breeding facilities this large. But then, I guess most of the ones that are this bad aren't licensed or known about anyway :(
It depends on the Department of Agriculture for each state to regulate large-scale breeders. We encourage everyone to become familiar with their state's laws. This rescue was in Indiana.
Thank God for the people who rescue these poor animals. I have a dog that was purchased at a pet store, BUT I adopted him from our local shelter. He has cherry eye and no matter how much I feed him, he hoards his food under the bed - I can only guess it's because he was born in a cage and had to push and shove his way to eat.
Anyone who still buys puppies at pet stores is an inconsiderate idiot. Thanks for keeping up the good work. Is it still legal in MO to have a puppy mill? It is against the law in lots of states now.
It's legal to have a large operation as long as they are abiding by the laws. In most cases they are not inspected on a regular basis and this is when we intervene to find deplorable conditions with dogs that need desperate medical attention.
no dog should be treated like dat.
DONT GET ANIMALS IF U ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE PROPER CARE AND LOVE THEM!these thick skulled hoarders need to get dat threw there head!!
