  • Hi mate i have just replaced the cables on mine but do you have to time the servo motor and the pulley or does it have an automatic reset position when you start the bike.

my servo motor deffinetely works but the bike wont idle.

  • @mixin4eva Servomotor is controlled by electric module and pulley should rotate from LO (mark on plastic servomotor housing) to HI range. You can check how it rotate through rpm in signature of this video (for CRM 125). There is one possibility of adjustment and the place where you can do it is on the right side of cylinder (RC valve cap). It is simple, when pulley indicate LO, Valve should be closed (there is two marks on second pulley) and when pulley indicate Hi, Valve should be fully open.

  • Hi mate i know this vids old but did you find this to be a practical fully reliable option ?

  • @canda1986

Sure, it never broke, this bike is 15 yrs old now and about 23k km(~14k miles) on it and and everything works fine (of course i take care of it). This servo is ok for this type of bike (soft enduro/dual sport) but in real enduro or dirt bikes (2 strokes of course) this exhaust valve control system is fully mechanical.

  • i have the same bike with the same servmotor :-)

  • Whats that?

  • This thing is responsible for exhaust valves (RC Valve) movement. The servo is composed by a direct courant motor, a reducer, a pulley and a potentiometer fitted on its axel.
