Shazam on 1st gen. ipod touch (hacked)

It does still work but the link in the description doesn't work, once u r n installous, search 4 shazam...it gives u 2 links to choose from and then u just put n the verification letters and then u will get the dwnld and install window, install and waalaa it's on home screen. Of course u will need an external dock mic...only 2 r compatible with the 1st gen touch so far, just do a google search on which mics are conpatible. I hope someone does a hack for Midiomi it's better than Shazam.

Or you could just go into installous and search for shazam and then download, much easier

did you add the source and read the instructions from the discription. if this didnt help I am still running 2.2 because my computer is broken and I am using a temporary computer so I cant update so I cant help you at this time. sorry

hey i have ivoice pro and i was wondering how do you get this to work i mean i downloaded it but it says no mic is detected i got 1st generation

I am not sure about the ivoice pro but make sure that you have 2.2 or later firmware. I have a HACKED ipod touch running 2.2. I am not sure if the macally ivoice products work on a regular itouch but I never have tried it. I do recomend the ivoiceIII. sorry if I couldnt help.

the firstgen ar 2ng gen ipods have no mike!

SHAZAM and iVoicePro only work with the iPhone.

yea they do the ivoice pro is a microphone that is compatiable with itouch 1st generation iphone has a built in mic and i had it workin until they removed the file after i restored my ipod but i use midomi now it got more songs shazam has a nicer interface though

you can download shazam on an ipod touch 2g. and you can buy the apple earbuds that have the remote and mic. or buy an adapter ( i saw one at target for $10, its a philips iphone mic. adapter)
