Thanks for this post Danial, there is too much negitive fearful thinking on "our" side, it is our duty to try to change what is going on and I'am sick of people just posting how we are so weak and how our lives our so futile; we can do nothing but run and hide. Don't know precisely what Rand Paul stands for, but if he holds all of the same positions as his father, my support would depend entirely upon who he is running against. I don't vote simply based on fiscal issues. I vote on a multiplicity of issues, and I have to vote with the more foundational issues first.

There's a local financial guru here in OKC that sells mutual funds and has a weekly radio show. The whole time he has been saying that we're at the bottom and that there's no way we'll ever see major inflation. One show he addressed the people who are buying gold & silver. He thought it was foolish to be buying PM's and said that they shouldn't waste their money on them but could put about 5% of their investments in PM's if it made them feel better. He must have a crystal ball or something.
