yeah, BMW like to fuck around with capacity... E.G BMW cars: the 330i is a 3 litre car and so is the 335i but the 335i is turbocharged (or something like that!) They called it the '650' because there's a more powerful model called the F800GS allready. I'm not sure where it makes the 71BHP but it feels at the wheel as i have rode bikes of similar power claims, at the crank, and mine feels quicker and more punchy. maybe it's because its only 3 months old though..

The new F650GS is an 800cc Twin, it pulls really well and can sit on the motorway all day, or in town, even mild offroading is possible! I'm so happy i bought it over the er-6. The kawasaki is a really nice bike but it didn't tick all the boxes for me

Honda??? Why the hell are you comparing an aprilian to a honda?

Honda's super (i'm asian. duh) but there's nothing quite like an aprilia. It's silly even trying to compare a honda, or a yamaha, to this.

I don't agree that anything coming out from an italian (or european) factory implies that it's superior to a japanese superbike. The japanese make a whole lot of stuff that's comparable -- and cheaper too.

Alot of the Euro jock riding stems from the fact that they make sexy bikes (loud v-twins). Japo bikes are efficient, but generally don't make anyone horny.
