sorry for the delayed reply... i no longer have the video na po... nacorrupt po kc ung portable hard drive ko... u can search for torrents of it... it is a german or russian movie i think, so you will need to have subtitles... :)
So if you've read the first 4 parts of this comment in order, below, you'll see why I believe this video is NOT a good analogy or example for the true Gospel.
It does show impending (but not necessarily definite) doom, and it does show a rescue. It also shows a father choosing to let his own son die so others may live, but if you read the Bible carefully, you'll see there is no comparison.
This version does not deal with sin or judgment at all.
...and so none of them even realized what they were being saved from. In the real Gospel, people need to be told what they are being saved from: - that they need to be saved from the wrath of God, which is due to us because of our sin. The end of the video shows someone noticing the father grieving, but she doesn't know what for.
8. As mentioned, we only see the father grieving over the loss of his son, while this death did not deal with the sin or take it away.
6. God is the Judge of the universe who will punish sinners in Hell. This father in the video is not a judge at all, and if he had chosen to let the people on the train die instead of his son, it would not have been based on judgment for sin, but rather a desire only to save his own son.
7. No One on the train was told to repent of their sins and believe in the father or the son who were trying to save them. They were allowed to simply go on their merry way....
4. In the video, the son sees the impending danger, but the Father doesn't. So the son yells to the father to tell him of it, and the father isn't there to hear it. This has no basis or equivalent in the Biblical Gospel at all. It was always the plan of God to send His only begotten Son, to save His people.
5. The father in the video has no concern whatsoever regarding the people's sinful states. But in reality we have all committed great sin and crimes against God Almighty..
This Video is certainly very touching. But I want to point out some discrepacies between this and the true Biblical Gospel.
1. God does not 'leave his post' as this father did.
2. God is not somehow taken off guard by any 'mistake' of man, where He suddenly has to make a "choice" to save His Son or save the people.
3. The father in the video did not know that his son was trying to save the people, but God no only knew His son would die, but rather, it was the plan all along....
wag po sana mangyari sa akin un sitwasyon na un mahirap mag decide kng sinu un pipiliin mo mahirap mag sacrifice lalo na un taong mahal mo sa buhay un nasa ganun sitwasyon., grabe d q kaya un.,
