Thank you for your comment, but I must inform you that the IHSS program actually saves taxpayers money as alternatives such as nursing homes cost on average 4 times more than homecare. In addition, the IHSS program has one of the lowest fraud rates of any state program.
This IHSS program is a rip-off to the tax payers. There are many drug addicts and dope dealers on this program who pretend to hire other drug addicts to provide in home help for them, when in fact they are splitting the IHSS money to buy drugs.
To get on this program, all you have to say is you have Hypertension or Arthritis. You don't even need medical documentation. This program makes it easy to commit fraud, and the state government is doing nothing to prevent fraud.
