  • that car sounds better than a supermodel on steriods

  • I spent most of my life at SoCal drag strips from 1964 until 1969 and watched the "Zookeeper" make many passes down the quarter mile. I can remember when he was driving the Adams-Wayre-Mulligan car and, later, The Fighting Irish car with Tim Beebe turning the wrench. John Mulligan was a great competitor who simply liked to go fast. When John was killed they were actually running the 426 Elephant Motor and with great success. John is one of our legends of drag racing, gone but not forgotten.

  • TIM AND JOHN KNEW HOW TO MAKE THE FAT LADY SING AND SING SHE DID ALL SUMMER LONG!!

  • THIS HERE IS THE WORLD RECORD HOLDER FOR 1968! TIM AND JOHN RAN OVER 230 MPH AT SEVERAL TRACKS AROUND THE UNITED STATES AT A TIME WHEN 230 MPH WAS PRACTICALLY UNHEARD OF! IN COMPARISON THIS WOLD BE LIKE WATCHING SCHUMACHER SHAVE A HALF SECOND OFF THE WORLD RECORD AND DO IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN!! NOT GONNA HAPPEN ! BEEBE AND MULLIGAN ARE THE TRUE CHAMPIONS OF ALL TIME! AND THIS WITH AN IRON "92-ONE MAG AND ONE SMALL HILBORN PUMP. WE WILL NEVER SEE A PERFORMANCE LIKE THIS AGAIN!! TRUE CHAMPIONS

  • Takes me back to the late 60's ! I've been a nitrohead for many, many years.

  • You will never be forgotten, Moe...
