  • I can honestly say I miss this Drake. This new bitch ass, subimenal disser, YMCMB asshole can go

  • I honestly don't care that Drake "changed." He still kills every track and spills his heart just like he did on his old mix tapes. His life changed, therefore so did his music. I still love Drake, old or new, he's still one of the realest rappers out there.

  • i like the So Far Gone drake better...

  • Oh shoot i was looking for bb king...

  • Everyone who happens to read this comment should just kiss my ass.

  • i mean i dont even want to listen to his mixtape songs anymore, makes me pretty much sad i was sitting here in 2006 along with only like 30 other people listening to these songs and now hes dead..

  • there needs to me a video for this song

  • The beat should be softer and his voice should be louder i think it'll sound better like that.

  • Listening to this drake is refreshing. The skill is still there, but the new drake. listening to the new drake sounds like a r&b artist who can rap well and not vice versa.

  • Its funny how on like 95% of the comments that I read on youtube are arguments based off of retardrd shit

  • Guys will yall shut the fuck up about Drake sounding different. Yes this is amazing like its art. Thats why these songs are still out there and theyre amazing to chill to. In his new stuff he goes so hard because its progression. Like if he made the same song all the time you wouldnt like him anymore. Tyler the Creator talked about how Bastard and Goblin dont sound the same cus its progression like you dont aim for the same song every fucking time.

  • I like these songs better than the new ones Drakes been putting out, but J. Cole from The Come up been better and didn't change as much for his debut album. J.Cole stayed the same, Drake changed for fame

  • every artist changes, i like drakes new song , his older music does sound more genuine and like hes into it more..

  • Drakes new stuff is cool but his mixtapes were classic

  • @sunshinee321, its true though.

  • this smoove..

  • His old music had soul, now that he became a corporate sell put, his new music sounds like generic commercial garbage. But he's doing it for cash and I can be mad at him for that

  • I love Room For Improvement mixtape more than any of his recent albums though they are also good but not as good as his old mixtapes. his old music is more open and original. still love him anyway.

  • everybody needs to understand that drake is he same he just upgraded his swag i dont know how yall could complain after the take care album he killed it...

  • @Tyourshoes that the truth

  • @Tyourshoes They complain because his lyrical talent isn't what it use to be. Yeah his songs are amazing but for the people that recognized good word play it's a shame to see him change. But I'll always be a fan of Drake.

  • Funny How J.Cole sound just like this... Thats why Drake had to switch his flow and swag to many jockers

  • I don't think people understand what those of us who say "we miss the old Drake" mean. There was a maturity to his original sound. From the lyrics to the actual music. Imo, he shines when he has a really smooth Neo Soul-ish, underground vibe to the music. You could feel the passion and hunger in his music. Yea, he's still honest in his music, but he's also thrown in the bullshit as well. I don't hate all of his new music, but I vibe a lot more with his older material.

  • Looks like Daddy Yankee in this photo lol

  • There are no songs from drake that I absolutely hate, there all good. But i must admit i do like the sound he used back then vs now, it was more laid back and chill, But I Love all his new material too take care and thank me later. You have to let artists evolve.

  • ive been shown drake before and never liked him, this time the light shined thru

  • I think I like the old Drake more...

  • @ace95june everyone says that...

  • @ace95june i wish i could get him know that this is the guy that this is the drake that can be the best rapper to me....i am not liking the new drake

  • @ace95june U Can Say That Again...

  • Will you guys stop with the "I miss the old Drake" damn, he is still just as emotional and personal with his music. Things change. Get over it. Deal with it.

  • @DashNicoleTaylor fuck you fake ass fan. you probably jumped on the wiz khalifa bandwagon after black and yelow too. being a real fan doesn't mean you can't criticize somebody because if you think drake now is half as good as this then you need to kill yourself

  • @mclovin435190 How am I a fake ass fan when I accept his music as is? To me that is a real fan. I do not care if you criticize him but at the end of the day your opinion is irrelevant. I do not think his music has changed. It's still just as deep. Now I have to address your mental stability and how it is lacking. You do not tell someone to go kill themselves just because they disagree with you, are you a child? Learn to properly discuss an opinionated topic without harsh childish unneeded words.

  • @DashNicoleTaylor dude... its youtube nobody cares how smart you sound like you have a bachelors degree when your in 8th grade so you can cut that shit. if you think his new "music" is deep then tell me how lines about fucking bitches and gettin money (love the phrase but thats all drake raps about) are deep. and dont show me the only 3 or 4 deep lines he has per album because that doesn't make you deep. next your mental stability- obviously somebody needs to learn sarcasm

  • @mclovin435190 I am in eighth grade? Actually, no I am a college student. So I speak like I am a college student. Whether or not you find his music deep or if his lyrics have begin to lack importance to you, is your opinion. I, on the other hand, do not. You are going to talk about what you are surrounded by. Money is what people usually aspire to get. So I can relate. His words are my motivation to find the same success as him. Lastly, what you said about me killing myself was not sarcasm, kid.

  • @DashNicoleTaylor ya but your still trying to sound smart when its youtube this isnt the debate team. its like getting dressed up to go mcdonalds it just pisses me off for some reason. anyways imo these lyrics are the ones where drake has substance, not all his young money songs where he justs talks about getting women and money but whatever.. and lastly when i told you to go kill yourself it was obviously sarcasm. dont tell me what you think i said. i know what i said.

  • @mclovin435190 Apparently, you have issues. Who gets upset over how someone speaks or types? Your poor sentence structures and grammar has yet to offend me. You have problem with people who are themselves, eh? I guess I'm no different then Drake. Nice analogy with McDonald's but it does not correlate with my typing. I do not type like I do not have an education, I type like I do. I will not change that just because you want to let your writing slide. He does not just talk about money and woman.

  • @DashNicoleTaylor yes i do get mad at people for how they talk or type, im a very judgmental person and the reason my grammer and what not hasn't offended you is because its freakin amazing. and now you seem to be talking more normal but dont tell me your going to say "Learn to properly discuss an opinionated topic without harsh childish unneeded words." all casual and what not. you were definitly just trying to sound smart. i win, end of discussion.

  • @mclovin435190 You win? I did not know this was a contest or a "debate team?" A judgmental person usually has mental problems in and of themselves hence the "mental" of the word. Your grammar is very first grade, that is all the credit I will give you without insulting those in higher grades. I am not trying to sound smart. I am smart. I talk like this casually when I am discussing my opinion with anyone. All you win is a sticker for effort. Other than that no, you did not.

  • @DashNicoleTaylor a judgmental person has mental problems? then does everyone have mental problems because everybody judges, your doing it when you say i have bad grammer. and if thats the way you talk casually then you obviously feel the need to impress people and your arrogance is starting to get pretty annoying

  • @mclovin435190 I never judge you on your bad grammar. There is difference between to judging a particular thing such as food, clothing etc and judging someone based off your ignorance and how you feel the world should be. No, not everyone is judgmental. You're ignorance is appalling. Everyone I know talks like this because they value speech and grammar. It does not make anyone arrogant because they talk properly. You are truly ignorant.

  • @DashNicoleTaylor YEAH I WIN BITCH THATS WHY U AINT REPLY CUZ I WIN. FUCK YOU, FUCK YO TEAM BITCH, AND FUCK YO BITCH, BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @mclovin435190 I don't get on YouTube for two days because I try to do other things that are more significant to my life and you consider that a win? Because you decided to get on and respond while I was taking care of real life things. Pathetic.

  • @DashNicoleTaylor oh so you think your hot shit cuz you know words bitch!?!?! no i win because im clearly smarter and much more educated and sophisticated because im muhfucking MCLOVIN435190 BITCH SO FUCK YOU AND YOUR FAT WIFE BITCH

  • @mclovin435190 Yes, I do because I have learned to expand my vocabulary without the use of curse words. You're clearly smarter? Your use of words says otherwise. You're more educated? Your grammar shows otherwise. My fat wife? I am a girl who is straight. Just because you have a fat wife does not mean everyone else does. Kid, learn to spell, get your GED or graduate High School, if you did go to College, learn more than curse words. Prove to your parents you're not as dumb as you look.

  • @DashNicoleTaylor bitch nobody gives 2 fucks if you dont use curse words if you had a true knowledge of vocabulary you would understand there just fucking words with some fucking meanings just like any other words. and your clearly not straight, so FUCK YOU AND YOUR FAT WIFE. i dont have a wife therefore your argument is irrelevant, so FUCK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUU. and i went to muhfuckin Georgia Southern nobody gives a fuck there about curse words so SUCK THIS DICK HOOOOOOOOO. FUFUFU

  • @mclovin435190 Kid, it is obvious that vocabulary is words with meanings behind them. Of course all words have meanings behind them, why else would we say them. Expanding your vocabulary without trying to justify your point with curse words is something you should strive for. It makes you look emotionally weak and immature. You are the one who brought up the fat wife, idiot, so how does that make sense. That would mean your insult was irrelevant to begin with. Grow a dick, first.

  • @mclovin435190 you both lose for agruing over the internet. hackem

  • @GNARGNARProductionz your a homo

  • i mean drakes new stuff is pretty good too but its completely different, i defeinitly wouldnt say that its him being himself, back then he used to actually speak his mind and experiences. he was a god

  • this is the drake that everybody

been misses, but now he is with

young dummies he sounds the same

if he was with good music or roc

this is the drake you would hear everytime

  • @187CBJ Stop dissing YMCMB for Drake's change, his lifestyle changed and his lyrics followed suit.

  • @youngj1921 im not dissing his change and his lifestyle is the example of the typical

    mainstream rapper

  • To be honest, i think drake is amazing at what he applys himself to, this is amazing no doubt but it doesnt touch me the way his current stuff does especially the way some tracks on his new album do like marvins room, the content of the actual song is small but the meaning is huge, You cant say he's a waste of talent.

  • i like this right here this is a very smooth track.

  • I miss Drake's melodic hip hop style, too smooth

  • Comment removed

  • Why do people say Drake messed up going to young money?... How much more successful could he possibly be? Lol, Drake was going to do it big WHEREVER! he decided to go.

  • @YoungMajorian That's so true...I never looked at it in that perspective!

  • @YoungMajorian cause he dumbed his artform down for young money

  • @nycolombian91 dumbed down, You really think that? I dont think you cant judge a mixtape to an album.. So you really cant say that seeing as how he hasn't dropped a mixtape of his own under young money. But its really all opinion on how good you think someone is, i was just stating that how much more successful could he be if he went elsewhere?

  • @YoungMajorian man are you retarted just compare this to make me proud. make me proud is a bunch of nursery rhymes. are you claiming i cant compare a mixtape to an album cause a mixtape is suppose to be better. that might be on of the dumbest things ive ever heard. lmao.

  • @nycolombian91 Are you CRAZY!? Name one artist that has better albums then mixtapes? On mixtapes thier are no rules, you can use anyones beat, no hooks really, and you dont have to stick to the main idea of the album. You come in a spit straight bars

  • @YoungMajorian wtf that couldve been one of the dumbest fucken statements in hip hop ive EVER heard. name one artist!?!? EVERY SINGLE LEGEND. wtf lmao. your a lil wayne fan arent u? when u drop your album your suppose to STRIVE for a classic go jump off a cliff or something

  • @nycolombian91 only people who have better albums then mixtapes are people who dont do mixtapes!! but lil wayne, drake, fabolous, nas(who destroyed Jay z), lloyd banks, pusha T, big sean, wale, meek millz, cassidy, jadakiss, los... list goes on all have better mixtapes then albums! HANDS DOWN!

  • @YoungMajorian lmao what are you 12 years old nigga? NAS?!?!?! are you retarted?? youve never heard nas CLASSIC albums. his illmatic is known as the greatest hip hop album ever. lil wayne? lmao das cuz dat niggas fucken gay with drake. pusha t??? hes got CLASSIC albums. lmao big sean? nigga fuck u namin rappers for are like 1 year old in the game lmao. and if they all have better mixtapes then albums SHAME on them.

  • @nycolombian91 lol you right about nas. But music is all opinion... I just feel we live in the age of mixtapes, I know I listen to more mixtapes then albums. I dunno know tho, we off topic like a bitch lol

  • @nycolombian91 man that nigga trying to argue with you is dumb af

  • y every1 hatin all artist evolve like plz b happy 4 him he made it . love old new and future drake thts a real fan would say, love the whole not parts. music changes and so does the artist. love him end of story.

  • @monkeychild27 you sound like a pussy btw. and im happy that drake made it and hes gettin money but he changed his style too much for me and i just dont like him anymore

  • @monkeychild27 w/e you probably do look like him dyke ass bitch you need to get some dick. w/e oh well that sucks idc

  • @mclovin435190 w/e i dnt feel like arguing w/ an anonymous on the internet can we drop it

  • @monkeychild27 w/e i really like talking shit on the internet but w/e

  • SO SMOOTH , MAKE YOU WANA HIT UP A JAZZ CLUB N CHILL

  • everybody i know theres alot of people asking you to listen to there music . but were15 years old and i rap, sing, record and produce my self, and our mom kicked us out the house because she said were going to end up like all the rappers that didnt make it, so can u please help us out by taking a little bit of time out your day and listening to some of our videos and thumbs up so people can see this

  • 8 years old?

This came out 2006.. 5 years ago.

  • @MeAgainstTheRadio He released it 5 years ago but he wrote it 8 years ago

  • @KevinTheVillian

    how do u kno?

  • @MeAgainstTheRadio I know drake personally . . . . lol jk jk I don't im assuming thats what the video uploader means

  • Man nostalgia ain't the word for what I feel when I listen to Drake old tracks. I don't even listen to him anymore he's just to different. Smh what a waste of talent.

  • @mizzjewel same thing i said..and its not even cause he talks about different things, its cause he lost his flow and lyrics

  • @pppanSi drake hasnt lost nothin.. what u have to understand about him is that his flows are different and change, dont get used to his shit cus he's constantly changin but keepin his same style. drake is constantly lookin to bettter his music and will change it to his liking. ive met drake at a UK basketball game in Lexington, KY

  • @mizzjewel I agree. Kinda sad..

  • @mizzjewel ur stupid

  • @mizzjewel IT AMAZES HOW ADVANCED SOME PEOPLE R INTO FINDING THE HARD TO FIND TRACKS.........

  • @mizzjewel He can takke any direction he wants, I enjoy his new stuff. Im pretty sure his song headlines was directed at fans like u

  • @mizzjewel I agree with you, when he first came out he was so original, & so real. I thought to myself omg why isnt he mainstream. This song and 'closer' I use to blast everyday.. I was on it. And I'd play it for other people and they were like "oh that wack n*gga from degrassi" -_- .. young money changed him, I'm glad he's leaving them. I'm still a fan, I still love and respect him.. cause I hope one day he'll get back to this right here. I miss this Drake! ..

  • @mizzjewel u must not have heard look what youve done..

  • @mizzjewel Nigga listen to take care, you're stupid if you think he didn't get better

  • I like Drake's older songs; not just because they were even more relatable than what they are now, but I liked how he had instrumentals that were more diverse. I really like the jazzy/funky feel of a lot of his mixtape songs.

  • it's like all the artist have changed they went from makeing rap to makeing pop trying to please the white society

  • @jackie9847 I know right ! but hey they got to make their money by doing want sells i guess

  • aaaawww :( brings back memories

  • i miss this drake. but hey, things change.

  • I still appreciate Drake no matter what, i just hate how his lyrics now are focused around the same things now but his underground stuff had more meaning to it, you gotta admit it.

  • im searching youtube, and i cant find a song drake isnt good in

  • ROOM4 IMPROVEMENT AND COMBACK SEASON WERE HIS BEST SHIT BEFORE HE HAD TO ADJUST TO THE FAME

  • @21pimppin for some reason i didn't really like comeback season. i first heard drake when he released so far gone and i fell in love with his music cuz of the slow bassy beats and occasional r&b singing from him over his raps. i still like all of his songs thou. room for improvement is better than comeback season in my opinion.

  • @1jaredjacobs Oh definitely agree with u on that I really don't listen to Comeback season either lol but I heard some of the lyrics and it is out of this world crazy

  • yeaa ehh drake , i gave u butterflies nn now ur thinkin of me ? ohkaaayy <333

  • Err @lady drama a real drake fan Wld appreciate his music for whatever he's dropping any song he writes/spit attracts the media and EVERYONES attention. And if dis whole movie thing was true then couldn't he have simply stayed in Degrassi for that?

  • hattaz hattaz hattaz. Drakes illy. So get off his dick

  • drake is that nigga man! his music is the type that you jus sit bak nd chill to..he can go hard if he wants bt he he raps to beats like this nd you feel chill nd nod yo head to the beat nd his lyrics..this my shyt dude..drake aint whack dude..these otha niggas jus missin out

  • @ToEazy23x Never claimed to be, so don't make yourself look stupid by assuming. Now make yourself scarce.

  • I like the old and new Drake because you get the best of both worlds I just wish these mixtapes went all over the world so I can get them

  • @88Domii download his mixtapes @ datpiff.com

  • his flow is like patron.... It just keeps comin

  • Drake is always Drake that dude that we can all relate to in a way. quit hatin on a nigga

  • @3DCroniiK truuuu shitt bruh

  • The flesh is weak, but the spirit is willing

The beat is innocent, but the flow is killing

each and ever night its different fight

Its like I bought a ticket and didn't take flight

My patience is short but the day is long

we I see your face its like the love is gone.

    Chorus...

  • SHUT UP AND ENJOY THE MUSIC!

    ╭∩╮(︶︿︶)╭∩╮

  • it's all about metamorphosis... it's a shame when an MC changes he loses fans just beacuse of what he was spittin' about earlier on in his life was more real... of course it is... drizzy is a young money millionaire now... he's keepin it 100 still, spittin about all the money partyin and women he be's around....

416 all day, toronto stand up!

  • the best way to clean your nose , is to pick it. Hahahaha

  • this Drake will eat J Cole alive. yeah i said it.

  • @JERAESKWAD Drake nice but jcole will do him bad

  • @JERAESKWAD true

  • @troy43va his flow and lyrics = on par. wish he stayed like this. hope TAKE CARE is this smooth

  • @JERAESKWAD mos deff will eat drake alive

  • @RCHSwackness cool story bro

  • @JERAESKWAD slug from atmosphere will murder him then eat him dead but instead, he just spit a rhyme and make drake dread, make him lay down and cry on his bed, but no he'll just bust some lead, into drakes clean cut having motherfuckin head, and he wont he have to bribe to feds because of his lyrical talent or just of what i said:)

  • @RCHSwackness randommmmm.

  • @JERAESKWAD i think he was better back then but i also don't think he will "eat" him alive.

  • @JERAESKWAD You gotta be joking. Subject-matter wise, and I exaggerate none at all, J Cole is on Tupac's level. Like seriously. Cole raps about people not getting stuck selling drugs or around that life.

  • @OnlyDopeSounds Cole dont rap about that ish anymore. once his album comes out hes all bout the hoes, he pretty much is right now. thats just a gimmick

  • @JERAESKWAD too bad this Drake is gone. -____-

  • now days the thrill of chillin is gone. i wish i was round in the 80s

  • OMG I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "Now a days most of the thrill of just chillin is gone" So true.. /: love this song

  • can someone ask me who alicia is

  • kinda reminds me of em before he became angry.

  • @Brendan2da I mean the lyrics he spit, what song is that from?

  • @psmith2011 lol at how you replied 2 years later.. and its not from any song he just said it

  • @Brendan2da lol yes two years later. . . okay thanks

  • Well you have to take to consideration that when drake's career went mainstream, so did his life. He's not the same Drake on the block chasing after girls. He's in the club with girls chasing after him. :P

So think about that before you diss the "New" drake.

  • @DarkstarrLu thumbs up! thumbs up! thumbs the fuck up! lol. thank you. I've been trying to explain to everybody that his scenery has changed causing his music to do the same thing. imo he's still raw as fuck!

  • @tytyboi23 hah he fucking sucks, real hip-hop comes from late 70s to late 90s.

  • @DarkstarrLu exactly art reflecs life, and life reflects art

  • @DarkstarrLu OMFGG! THANKYOU SOOOO MUCCH! YHUUR LIKE ONE OF THE FEW PEOPLE WHUU UNDERSTANDD! Thats Exactly howw i feel ! #Team Drizzy Drake Rogers!

  • @DarkstarrLu dude your thoughts make me get a whiff of weed.. why is that?

  • @DarkstarrLu Regardless He still dumbed down his lyrics and wordplay for the mainstream
