there's so many rocks here it keeps bending rims the my kfx400 will a non utility quad be able to get thru those trails? mine's just made to go fast, watch my video 2 see. Can't wait to move
Well, there are a lot of rocks but the trails are groomed and the majority of riders are ATV'er's. You're are really going to love these trails!. The trails are some of the best you'll ever ride. I am told they are the 3rd best place to ride in the nation. Stay in touch and visit my website windrocktrails dot com. It's not finished but it will be soon. Also, click the "Blog" link while you are at windrocktrails dot com for a lot of good info about the trails.
GREAT video very well put together....I am moving to maryville from ca as soon as my house sells. Any suggestions on other places to ride? california is really cracking down here on ATV riders and leaving us little riding areas. We can go to Jawbone Canyon, Gorman, Pismo (3hrs away). Again awesome video
You are moving to Maryville? Windrock Mountain and all its 72,000 acres with 150 miles of trail will be your new home! Plenty o places to ride here in E. TN. Hope you like rocks!
The fastest way to the windmills is P1 (pavement 1). Eventually it runs out of pavement but keep on keeping on and before you know it they'll be in front of you. Actually, P1 is Windrock Road and if it wasn't closed off at the windmills you could ride over to Lake City on it.
The name of the first song is called, "Sing, Theresa Says." And what a beautiful song it is at that. It's by a guy named Greg Laswell. I found it in a "Paste Magazine" sampler #23. Great magazine music lovers should look into subscribing. "Benzi Box" by Dangerdoom (Featuring Cee-Lo) is the name and artist of the second song also found in the same Paste Magazine, sampler #23.
BTW - I'm a big fan of Windrock! I agree the mountain is better to ride than ever. It's groomed by the ATV Club and those people do a great job! I ride 2-4 times a week up there. I ride a KDX200 Kawasaki dirtbike. I'm also a musician, guitar and piano player.
In deed the mountain has changed due to everyone who spends any time up there. That includes the CCMMC (Coal Creek Mining and Manufacturing Company). Windrock will never be the same as you remember growing up. However, Windrock is about to make a lot of money because of the tourist who want to Windrock and Ride!
right on
