  • 1:40 "and other top secret missions"

    What?...no

Enlisted men only need a secret clearance to join the regiment.

    Officers need TS clearances.

    Typically only 'secret' missions.

Top secret would typically be stuff like DEVGRU

  • @Sh1pWrecker The Army Rangers sometimes do operations with Delta Force, and DEVGRU, which are tier 1 special operations forces.

  • hey!! MH-47s!!! Rode in those quite a few times in Iraq.. like 138 times....

  • Dahlonega! anybody? no?

  • I'm not a CoD player. If so I'd never be here.

  • THE RANGER PRE-WHATEVER QUALIFICATION FOR THE RUNNING IS:

2 MILE RUN IN UNDER 13MINS

I DO THAT FOR FUN IN A DAY

  • @Eleetnessful THEY MUST BE REQUIRED TO TYPE IN ALL CAPS TO BE IN THE RANGERS BECAUSE THEY ARE LOUD.

  • @FlagFlyingHigh3 LOL THISKID

    I MEANT 1.5 MILE RUN IN UNDER 13 MINS THAT'S A JOKE

  • No...that's 5 miles in under 40 minutes. And that's just for their PT test...

Now at the end they got a 12 mile ruck march. May be thinking "12 miles whoopdy-effing-du" until you do it Ranger-style...then your legs will go so fast your upper half falls off. Many non-rangers have been taken to do ruck marches with the rangers and very few non-rangers have completed them

  • @slowrunn3r88 ALRIGHT I REALLY DON'T CARE ABOUT ANY OF THIS I CAME ACROSS THIS VIDEO LOOKING FOR A DIFFERENT 1 2 SEND SOME1

AND A 12 MILE RUCK MARCH IS WRONG -- IT'S 20 WHICH IS FAR MORE IMPRESSIVE (ALBEIT EASY) COMPARED TO THE 1.5M IN 13MINS

  • @slowrunn3r88 I'M A STB COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE DEVELOPER

  • @Eleetnessful well you did say pre qualification so you know it is not the actual standard just like in regular units army wide standards are lower than company ones

  • My brother is in 3rd Battalion in Afghanistan now

  • I like how everyone here is an expert in the subject matter of Special Operations Forces in the US Military.

  • @LikeAstraightBOSS yea thank you cod

  • I understand the difference between Ranger School and 75th Ranger but being British, I'll hopefully do Ranger school at least to get the Ranger tab! (I know it's a different tab, but it's still Ranger).

According to military friends (I'm still too young to enlist/my parents won't sign for me to join now at 16/17), several Brits go over for the 4 week course each year.

  • @Richtigify it is a 12 week course.

  • can a marine become a ranger and acually work with the rangers

  • @LAXdart We can go to Ranger school and complete the training, but we will just go back to our regular unit as Marines with extra training lol. If you want to work with Rangers, join the Army and do Ranger school.

  • @LAXdart Also DDIISSEE already answered that question, look at his reply as well.

  • @LAXdart like what brandonfenty said but you need to be a Force Recon Marine in order to be attend Ranger School

  • Comment removed

  • @gnixon51 Wth are you talking about? Force RECON is USMC. Rangers are a completely different tier. They're USAR. Do your research, bro. Source? I'm a corpsman for the Navy.

  • thank u bro

  • so if a marines is good at their job they can get send to rangers shcool right ?

  • @infinithope Not just any Marine...I think damn near all Marines that goto Ranger school are Recon, MARSOC types...Ranger school doesn't make you a Ranger though...you get the Ranger tab....but to become a Ranger to serve in the Ranger Regiment you go through something called Ranger Assessment and Selection program which is a selection course like BUD/s or SFAS..etc...

  • @infinithope ranger school and rangers are wayyyyyyyy different man

  • Graduated and was assiagned to 2nd Ranger Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment Bco 3rd PLT 4th squad (heavey weapons) WARTOADS!

  • What kuruptdubs is saying is correct.I never got it in my contract before heading to basic, luckly Airbiorne School was. I asked my DS 2 weeks before graduating if he could put it in my contract. he said no becuase of my PT score. Halfway through Airborne School a Ranger from 75th Regiment showed up and asked if anyone wanted a Ranger Contract to show up to after that days training at the CQ desk. I got a waiver for my 99 ASVAB score and went through R.I.P.

  • Are there Ranger officer contracts?

  • carry on old chaps! lol

  • BRITISH ARMY, SAS ,ROYAL NAVY, ROYAL AIR FORCE. BE THE BEST!

  • @TheApexBullet Nowhere near the best sorry.

  • cool video...lol at all the people argueing...

  • I am an 11X Airborne heading off to Ft. Benning in January and I was wondering if I can volunteer for Ranger school or Pre-Ranger school now, or do I have to wait until after BCT?

  • @penorianfury not positive about army but in the marines you get the chance after infantry school to go to other schools.

  • @penorianfury try to get it in your contract before you go to basic, but if you can't, do good on pt and rifle qual. your DS will probably ask if anyone is interested in a rip contract towards the end of basic as long as your scores are good enough it shouldnt be a problem to get it put into your contract. they were handing them out like candy a couple years ago.

  • Heading to RASP in 2 months.... ready to Lead the Way hooah.

  • @JMonroy18 - Hooah

  • RANGERS lead the way.....all the way...everyday.

  • did that guy at 0:52 just flash bang himself?!

  • i grad ranger school in '82:it was 110% BS.i cuold NOT froggin believe it.ranger bns are the real deal--after some combat time.

  • The amount of stupidity and ignorance in a lot of these comments is pretty laughable.

  • Could you qualify for the rangers if you wear glasses?

  • @mbrowneproductions - after a couple years in any combat unit you'll probably be wearing glasses do to the conditions and craziness of being an infantryman

  • @mbrowneproductions If possible they will have you get lasik surgery.

  • win without engaging the enemy

  • @UmassTrading Like an air strike???

  • @monkybit I was thinking more along the lines of cutting off troop support/communications, reducing enemy morale, spreading mis-information via spies, identifying areas that should not be attacked and those that are left undefended. Yes, air strikes and air recon will be vital in taking out these targets.

  • supply rangers

  • SAS ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!

But the US have amazing soldiers so I respect everyone out there as I am part of the UK marines

  • 6 people are full of shit! lol

  • sounds more like Green Berets

  • TAYL0R16 the rangers were created during the french indian war by maj. robert rogers . so yes back then they realy were special forces . and becouse there the oldest and have the most experience i do belive they are better than seal team 6 . seals have only been around sence the 1960s .

  • @markusruhl79 Alright, thank you for your comment. I'm planning to be a Ranger Officer then after my service switch to the Marines as an Officer. However, I must disrespectfully disagree about being better than ST6, They are the Elite of the Elite right next to CAG. I would most likely compare Rangers to SEALS or Force Recon. But they aren't considered Special Forces now. That term is used by the military for Green Berets. Spec Ops is what Rangers, SEALS, Force Recon and MARSOC are considered.

  • im joining the army soon i want to be a ranger sniper . and all the BS about green berets and navy seals its all a bunch of hype rangers are americas first special forces .

  • @markusruhl79 Rangers aren't Special Forces, their Spec Ops. Special Forces are Green Berets. Please tell me how the Green Berets and SEALS are just "hype" compared to the Rangers. Do you think that they are better than Seal Team 6? I'm just wondering bro, thanks!

  • @TAYL0R16 lmfao!!! Seal team 6 is code for taking a shit hahahahahahahaha every OCF SOF knows that hahaha SF is hype thanks to the Duke and Seals are too, thanks to Charlie Sheen. But who else can say their unit did the Great Raid? Talk about perfection....

  • @markusruhl79 Rangers aren't SF mate, They are special operations capable, just like Force Recon.

  • @MP7A3 SF=Special Forces ie the 'Green Berets'. SOF is special operations force, which include SEALs, Rangers, CCT, etc. The only unit claiming to be special operations capable are MEUs. The point of that is a MEU, while not SOF, are expeditionary and tend to be in boats near hot spots. While it may be preferable to fly in a SOF unit because they are better trained for the mission, time constraints could require Marines to do this mission. Delta also recruits from Rangers and the regular Army.

  • @BrianT175 no one cares.

  • @MP7A3 Right, everybody cares about your erroneous statement though.

  • @BrianT175 no, just you.

  • @GoneHuntingTwice Nah bro, you nailed it for me! Thanks man! At least your answer was informative and to the point unlike Mr. asschutschkow2 who didn't even answer my question and had to insult at that. XD Thanks again man!

  • U.S Army Rangers Lead the way.Not the Marines!!

  • @raver0ller Really? How so? Marines are tip of the Spear. Explain please!

  • @TAYL0R16 thats the most retarded statement ive ever heard. look back into any past war, army infantry did more then 75% of the work. still today marines are used nowhere near as much as the army infantry. iraq and afghanistan.

  • Comment removed

  • @aschutschkow2 And everyone knows the Army fought more, its not science. But people have come to know Marines as the Tip, so take it up with them. Also, nice calling my comment retarded! Great way to be mature! XD

  • @TAYL0R16 Well during WW2 there was an assault on a big beach, maybe France rings a bell....In a meeting with Max Schneider, commander of the 5th Ranger Battalion, General Cota asked "What outfit is this?" Someone yelled "5th Rangers!" To this, Cota replied "Well, God damn it then, Rangers, lead the way!"...So they did and opened up the routes off the beach for the assault.. "Rangers lead the way" fallowed with the response "All the way" became the motto of the Rangers.

  • @monkybit we support each other Anytime, Any mission, Anyplace

  • Comment removed

  • @raver0ller Hey guess who killed 0sama? Not the Rangers! SEALS destroy Rangers ANYDAY.

  • @TheEpicChrister who made a comparison between Rangers and SEALS?.US Army Rangers and SEALS do a different job all together dumbass. No one uses the term SEALS anymore. There called DEVGRU(Development Group). DEVGRU and Delta Force have a different role.

  • @raver0ller People do use the term SEALs all the time mate. They no longer use the term Seal team 6. DEVGRU is a step higher then all of the other SEAL teams, in terms of missions, specialized training, and outfiting. DEVGRU is to SEALs as Delta is to Green Berets.

  • @TheEpicChrister DEVGRU specializes in MCT or Maritime Counter-Terrorism. They would do things like Oil Rig/Ship Bordering hostage Rescue operations. Delta mainly does counter-terrorism on Land. They can also do MCT similarly like DEVGRU(Boat Troop), but they will mainly only do it, if it's in the interest of the Army, so not to interfere with DEVGRU's operations. They are very versatile group also.

  • @TheEpicChrister Idiot.

  • @TheEpicChrister Hey guess who got Saddam.....and AMZ..

  • @raver0ller the marines the few the proud the marines

  • @raver0ller HOOAH!!! SUA SPONTE!!!! RLTW!!!

  • @raver0ller 5.56x45mm LEAD THE WAY!!!!!! coyote or foliage

  • Comment removed

  • @raver0ller Nevertheless Marines are dirty Bastards....

  • there sof not sf there not as elite but great force

  • Wow Captain Don Kingston is so soft-spoken for an Army Ranger

  • @TRZbebop675 It's the quiet ones that kill the most.

  • it took them ten seconds to set up rear security smh

  • Yeah. What I meant was Rangers undergo Special Operations; they usually dont fight under conventional terms.

  • uHH IS THERE A DETACHMENT OF SOLDIERS DRESSED UP AS TALIBAN AND GOING BEHIND THEIR LINES AND DESTROYING THEIR SUPPLIES AND PERSONNELL. LIKE A PHOENIX TEAM

  • 4 people are in denmarks army

  • someones got to do it, and these guys are the best at doing it

  • No offense, but I didn't even know that Denmark had an army. Well, I guess you learn something new every day.

  • Black Hawk Down...... hehe

When are these guys going back to Somalia, because these pirates over there are taking things to far?

  • all my respect to the us army rangers, but as i can see in this video the royal danish army special forces (the hunterforce/jægerkorpset) are better, and specily in fast roob :)

  • @thunderbirdzamzam these arnt special forces they are the infantry special operations within the rangers rangers are not special forces but the 75th rangers are special the do special operations such as securing land for other rangers to come in at its comparable to marine force recon

  • @thunderbirdzamzam if you think any military is better than the US military i welcome the challenge until then shut the fuck up or come get some. im tired of fail ass countries being keyboard warriors.

  • @jarhead1992bori FUCK YEA MAN ... rah!

  • @jarhead1992bori WHAT IF NK'S SEND Nuclear MISSILES. TO THE US WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING, SCREWED UP THE ASS

  • @themegaTECHCHECK Ever heard of a missile defense system wise ass?

  • @WebstersRevenge Well nks have good tech as well. I'm guessing Maybe 50/50 it will land or not.

  • @jarhead1992bori look us military is great and the most powerfull in the world.

but there are better trained soldiers especially in europe

america has quantity european armys have quality in big demands and lack quantity

tho rangers in my view are some of the best fighting soldiers in the world.

  • @bleushift any marine chef could whistle and skip through ranger school while stewing together twenty vats of the best chili mac.

  • @davidhlusko thats why force recon has a pass rate of 50% get the fuck out of here bitch

  • @thefivefamilies1 you can calm down. and how you said it just means that they have a high failure rate which means that it is more intense. your army gets three ribbons upon graduating bootcamp. one for showing up one for tossing a grenade and one for finishing. it takes a marine atleast a year in the fleet to rate their first ribbon.

  • @davidhlusko If the USMC is so hot then why are you trolling an army video? Any specific reason why you're talking down a branch that you deem inferior? What's next, you going to go to a boyscout meeting and knock over their milk and cookies?

  • Comment removed

  • @davidhlusko The Marine Corps are certainly their own biggest fans. Too bad they have a tough time explaining why, since the Vietnam War, army soldiers have been awarded the Medal of Honor 7x more frequently than the Marines. When it comes to jawing and talking, nobody can rival a Marine. Too bad that doesn't transition as well into combat roles.

  • Comment removed

  • @davidhlusko In 2001 the Marines FOLLOWED the Rangers into Afghanistan. That's a pretty widely known fact. You went into Iraw only after the Navy's bombings made it safe enough for you. Cost effective? You guys are completely dependent on other branches. You can't even get to a war on your own without somebody else taking you there. You guys are kind of like the kid who sits in the back seat during a long car trip, kicking the seat, and repeatedly asking "are we there yet".

  • Comment removed

  • @davidhlusko Last I checked Rangers took army aircraft to battle. Marines hitch a ride with the Navy. No, I don't want you walking into an infested area. I want you to stop talking as if you actually do. First in, last out may sell t-shirts but when in reality the Marine Corps has a long history of following others into war. Do your M16's come with walkmans, VCR's, and other obsolete items too? I didn't say the Rangers were first in Afghanistan. I said the USMC followed the Army.

  • Comment removed

  • @davidhlusko The Night Stalkers are Army, not Air Force. You certainly have to look way into the past to see anything the Marine Corps have done without somebody holding their hands the entire way.

  • Comment removed

  • @davidhlusko Who cares? Because in war time the USMC is helpless without the assistance of other branches. Wow, boot camp. Color me impressed. It takes you 12 weeks to learn what it takes me 8. Not something worth bragging over.

  • Comment removed

  • @davidhlusko And I bet you can stop bullets with your teeth, shoot fireballs from your eyes and make the enemy quit just by looking at them. It's funny listening to some marines go on and on about how good they think they are. That's fine and all. But there is a reason why you send your Marines to our Ranger school. You come to our school to learn from us.

  • Comment removed

  • @davidhlusko Yet the Marine Corps still needs to send its men to Ranger school to learn from us. Legends in your own minds.

  • Comment removed

  • @davidhlusko Are you unaware that the USMC sends people to Ranger school, some of whom fail? And last I checked the Secret Service guarded the President. So because the Marines are arrogant and are brainwashed in boot camp to think they are the best things since sliced bread, that is an indication of anything other than rectal-cranial inversion? You're not doing very well in this discussion. You can only change topic so many times.

  • Comment removed

  • @davidhlusko So I guess the 2 Marines who went through the school with me were just figments of my imagination. But if you wish to live in denial of that fact, by all means. Reality has little bearing on so many Marines as it is. Just grunt, shout "Marine Corps" and carry on.

  • @ffryan Ranger school does not make you a Ranger. RIP does. The tab is a school the scroll is a way of life. lots of units do "Ranger training" but that doesn't make them Rangers. You have to serve in the 75th..Sure marines and even airforce go to Ranger school and its funny to hear them talk about how hardcore they are haha then they say they are butter-bars who haven't even seen combat lmfao

  • @davidhlusko No Ranger gives a shit about some stupid ribbons... the Army makes you wear that crap.

  • @thefivefamilies1 and RIP has a pass rate of 20-30% you get out of here.

  • @jarhead1992bori you do realize that those aren't countries but little 12 year olds FROM those countries...get your shit right

  • @jarhead1992bori Its not countries typing, its just dumbasses around the world. You think the soldiers are arguing with each other over whos better? Nope, they're just working together to get shit done....Okay, they might be arguing a little...

  • @thunderbirdzamzam danish wow really go up to someone and ask them where ur countries at and im pretty sure they wouldnt be able to point it out on the map

  • Be on the lookout after Dec 20th 2010. Fort Benning TV is following the 75th Rangers as we follow them on training exercises preparing for upcoming deployments. This includes full simulated battle with mortars, snipers, call for fire, air power and a whole lot more. A story that will not disappoint the Ranger enthusiast.

  • @BenningTV I'll eather be at benning by then or just leaving on christmas exodus from there.

  • 4 people are commies

  • they are looking for cooks

these must be some bad-ass cook's i wouldnt trust them with my kitchen knifes though :(

  • but what about special forces????

  • @justcallmejoeable FUCK SPECIAL FORCES!

  • @SiKL3GeNd ...Why????

  • @justcallmejoeable

Army Rangers ARE a type of Special Forces.

  • In a way your are correct. You are also incorrect. The therm "Special Forces" is a designation to the US Army's Spec Op's, or the "Green Berets". Too man people use the term "special forces" when they are talking about Green Berets, Navy SEALs, Rangers, and Delta. All of these are under Special Operations Command but Special Forces are the Green Berets.

  • DEA "The FAST Team" in Afghanistan .....watch it.

You cant post coments on it.

everyone should see what they are doing to those poor farmers. 15 years in prison......AFGHAN prison.

  • 4 people missed the like button

  • my great grandpa was a ranger and pulled 2 tours in korea, hes just about 80 now and the lasting effects of agent orange has tore apart most of the bone structure in his legs, hes seen things people cant and wouldnt want to imagine in their dreams, and he still says he would never change anything he went through... i hope one day i can make it to an elite military group

  • @cletedawgthewalmart That's some real shit.

  • @cletedawgthewalmart agent orange wasn't used in korea, bubs.

  • @Matt218 Not during the actual conflict, but during the DMZ occupation yes. My dad has all sorts of health conditions resulting from his exposure. He was there in the late 70's and early 80's for his 2 tours though.

  • My grandfather served in the 5307th Composite, the Ranger's parent unit.

This is the coolest freakin army unit ever.

  • i heard in ranger school you have to eat a peice of your own shit or die from starvation during a 1 day long land nav Q course

  • @solidsnake2021 this is true. I went through the school and remember that part of the training. They load you up with MREs so when you do shit its quite large. Then you must survive for three days off your own poop and water. They give you a bag that you eat it out of. You have to mix it with water and iodine tablets so you dont get sick, You eat it like cereal i guess. Doesnt taste that bad if you dont smell it. Kind of taste like mint.

  • @Vollrath1114 thats a load of bullshit., and you know it.

  • @Vollrath1114

BS. I have never heard this from my tabbed brethren and I have not once experienced it myself. Quit lying and spreading rumors about those who have done what you could not even dare.

  • @solidsnake2021

    Not true at all.

On average you get 1 MRE per day. While hungry, you are not near starvation.

  • Im 14 years old and have wanted to be a ranger for a very long time, i live in ft campbell fo 13 years, my famly wuz lucky. We didnt have to move alot, but when 9/11 came along everything changed, from my dad going over seas every ones and while to my dad leaving every other 9 mounths... He was in 5th group, a s.f. team, and was a BSGM.

  • I love me my rangers but at 1:34 they didnt have a good perimeter set up D: , good thing its training tho Hooah rangers lead the way

  • @64CSAR they had a perimeter, you just can't see it :D

  • "what about special forces?".........F*** SPECIAL FORCES!!!

  • To the three goddamn hippies disliking this, get a haircut, take a shower and join the Army!

  • can we send them to Mexico?

  • I love those Nighstalker birds!

  • Comment removed

  • if i was in yank army i would wanna be a ranger

  • Awesome, I leave December 8th for SEALs. but I love Ranger's uch respect and good luck to the guys going for Ranger's. Best Light Infantry Unit in the world.

  • @ragenhurt dude no fucking way. HOOYAH! you lucky bastard :)

  • I plan to be a U.S. Army Ranger!!!!

  • imagine if we gave these guys tweak.. they could probably invade mexico and capture it within a week

  • @romerieger LOL! Hooah!
