I love Rush and didn't really care about Machine Head all that much, until this record, which is pretty damn good. And this cover does the original song justice.

By the way... does Robb do the vox? I never imagined he could sound this good.

It's okay. It is basically like a new song, which gives it originality. That's all I'll give them. I'm a big Rush fan, and I thought Machine Head could do better.

Not a bad thing but far away from the Machine Head standard.

Its strange how the original sound from 1981 is far superior to this here, especially the drums. Listen to the original (or remastered extended version) right afterwards and you'll notice.

And why is the snare drum so much laid back? I gets so incosistent at times it almost sounds as if Dave played some mistakes.

Don't get me wrong, I love Machine Head but they could do it better.
