you could have a wicked bbq once the union and tomatoes are grown, just cook up some patties and cut some freshly picked union and tomato, that would taste awesome.
Check out your local city recycling centre for free compost days. My city gives it away for nothing, can't beat the price and good for this years garden!
Well there is a tool to drive the post in the ground, its a heavy piece of steel it sort of does the work itself as long as you cna lift it...thge real problem is if you havge rocky soil, by me its VERY rocky, so I had a hard time with it...
It crossed my mind, but I am not sure what we are goign to do with the lanscape yet...We (my family and I) Want to do alot to the landscape, adijng grass and makign it look nice, but its soo hard because now that my grandfather passed away my dad owns his house, and that has been his primary property that he has been taking care of, and I have been helping...So we don't have the time or money to make our place look really nice, which just stinks...
But I do what I can during the day to try to amke it as nice as I can...As for animals, the bears have been active lately...Alot of people in heer are older and retired, and they have gardens and bird feeders and the bear LOVE it, lol...They have been ransacking everyones bird feeders...one reason why I don't have any at my house, lol...
If I see one I will defimatly try to get a video...I have seen many smaller ones maybe in the 200-300 lb range, but we get this massive male that comes by in the summer which has to be over 500lbs!!! My house is across the street from alot of state land in the outer skirt of a community, so there are plenty of bear back in there and they come to the houses to look for garbage and bird feed, and so on...
Thanks, I like it without the fence myself, but in the videos I talk about how I have sooo many deer where I live, there is no hunting allowed in my community, so I see deer and turkey every single day! So I had to add the fencing....
It really is nice, I moved here from New Jersey where I use to see a deer maybe twice a year, but the bear on the otehr ahnd came by all the time, lol, but I NEVER saw a turkey, but now I get it all ALL the time, you woudl think its cool seeign the bear, and I do think that, but at the same tiem I get nervous, they are still bear, lol, I worry for ym dogs that would get in a fight with one, or I might stumble upon one by accident and it might feel threatened...Stuff like that worries me a bit...
thanks for the good ideas, i'm just starting a vegatable garden myself.

Yeah, around here we just have racoons, squirrels, rabbits, bob tailed cats and the occasional mountain lion. But NO BEARS and I am good with that.
But hey, you have all that ROOM. Ever thought about planting some pumpkins?
