When I was getting a puppy the way I tested their personalities was but putting the them in my lap and gentley holding them down

A dog that rolls over and licks your hands is a shy and is perfect for an older cuple or someone with young children

A dog that doesn't stop moving is more of a leader good for a expereanced handler looking to enter compitions

A dog that moves at first, but relaxes after time has a good willingness to learn.

So the puppy in the corner gets euthanized. Win it could be as simple as he is in a scary kennel and needs his confidence built.

What has that got to do with preparing for a puppy? And how is that information factoring in the pups mood for the day? An outgoing pup is NOT necessarilly going to have problems as it grows older, it may just be confident and enthusiastic. Silly advice if you ask me (and outdated).

For those of you looking for a breed, do a google on dog breed selectors where you do a survey to find your ideal breed - then look at its "Breed all about it" on youtube :o)
