  • very rare one hit wonder that not many people seem to be familiar with, I like that this song was popular right around the time I was born (August 1980)

  • This song was epic.

  • Always good times...

  • WHYYYYYYY someone please put this version on iTunes. Makes me think of good times....good times.

  • AWESOME SONG PURELY GENIOUS:)

  • I remembered this and sang a bit to my daughter this morning and I thought it was a distinguished Sir Paul sound.... Really like the up beat sound....makes for a great day

  • I never forgot this song. This song got a lot of airplay on San Diego area soft-rock stations. When I hear it, it amkes me thinks of the years I lived there when I was stationed at Camp Pendleton and was a newlywed. Good memories.

  • on Itunes, but it is re-recorded and not the same...bummer

  • Long lost oldie. I taped this off the radio! 1980 me thinks.

  • He sounds so much like Sir Paul McCartney...and memories of the summer of '80, cruising across Texas.

  • @74bshs I agree bout the Sir Paul comment. Thumbs up.

  • Awesome post! I completely forgot about this song.

    I bought the 45 when I was a teenager!

    Thanks!

  • Great song, definitely hard to find anywhere

  • I was listening to a song by Poco where they had a sax part and for some reason this song came to mind because of the upbeat sax. Great memories of the closing years of my time in high school. Beautiful music.
