One of the things I love about Kingdom hearts, is the fact they use the original voice actors. I checked, and the voice of jafar, Iago, Genie, Alladin and Jasmine are all the original voice actors. And that is just the world of Agrabah

I wish the creators of Kingdom Hearts did so much better with the side-plots, They just didn't seem to understand the characters, and the environments are all so sparse. I actually liked the first KH over the second, though I did love the black-and-white world in KH2.

what's with jasmine's voice? In the cartoons/movies it has a delicate sound....but this is like a breathy empty-headed sound. like paris hilton. Aladdin sounds the same though. Jasmine running off to tell the guards doesn't seem like her. Wouldn't she just go after Iago herself?

She was probably played by a different voice actor like other characters who sounds different. Well, I guess the people who made the game did it this way so it would work out for the storyline.

Kick-ass! Iago is still voiced by Gillbert Gottfried, and jafar by Jonathan Freeman. You just don't see the character's being voice by the original voice actors any more in these games.

her original voice actor probably wasn't able to be reached. She does sounds extremely different. Some of the voice actors who are filling in for the original actors sound remarkably close to the originals.
