  • btw im talking to pooledan not michiganallday cuz he knows his shit

  • i ve been reading this argument between poole1dan and michiganallday2 and i would agree with allday simply on the fact that you got the wrong drafting class. RR made a point of emphasis to get big guys this is why you got black ash talbott and wilkins. anyways the guys you rattled off as being small dont stick their fingers in the dirt unless theyre a running back and they dont even get in a three point. They are wideouts and rb's THEIR NOT IN THE TRENCHES

  • @ktrave14 hes stupid dont waste your time man thanks for pointing this out tho lol and even our rb"s and wr"s in this class are big and hes saying that all rich rod recruits are little players most of all in the skill set positions well if that were true he would have did the same in this class and he didnt by the way this only being his SECOND CLASS!!!

  • " you got the wrong drafting class"

you, like michiganallday2, failed to make the inference that i was talking about every skill kid dickrod has recruited in every class. You also failed to make the self-evident inference that I was talking about SKILL POSITION PLAYERS (receivers, tailbacks, athletes), not linemen like Black and Ash. I agree that dickrod has been recruiting decent to good size in the trenches and other positions.

  • @Poole1Dan uhmm actually no dick head this argument got brought p because i said THIS CLASS IS NOT FILLED WITH LITTLE PLAYERS and u went on to talk about last years class and whos on our roster i wasnt taling about 2008 or 2009 i was tlaking about 2010 and if all he did was recruit little playerrs he would have did it in this class too dumbass

  • "actually no dick head this argument got brought p because i said THIS CLASS IS NOT FILLED WITH LITTLE PLAYERS"

LIE!! This argument over little players got started cause your dumb honky ass talked about how Sam McGuffie (who is a small scatback) couldn't handle the pounding of the big ten, and I then pointed out your contradictory statements about McGuffie not being able to handle the big Ten and dickrod ghaving success once he brin gs in "is players," even though close to 50% of his skill

  • @Poole1Dan i didnt say he couldnt handle the big ten because of his size u dumbass i said he had to many concussions and he couldnt handle the grind of the big ten nothing to do with his size it has to do with his heart and his pain tolerance dipshit

  • "nothing to do with his size it has to do with his heart and his pain tolerance"

fair enough, but what the hell makes you think the other skill kids dickrod has recruited have heart? how can you even judge if someone has heart? You're just pulling shit out of your ass to justify your rediculosu arguments. McGuffie left primarily cause of family matters (I suspect he saw the writing on the wall about Michigans shitty future under dickrod as well). it had nothing to do with him lacking heart

  • again your a osu fan stop commenting on michigan videos

  • kids are small scatbacks, just like McGuffie. You hold onto the proposterous belief that none of dickrods small scatbacks will get fucked up in the big then, even though you yourself admit that thats exactly what will happen to mcGuffie!!

So no, we were NOT talking about the 2010 class. We were talking about all the skill kids that dickrod has recruited in his time at Michigan and how many of those skill kids are small.

  • "if all he did was recruit little playerrs"

You are so illiterate its painful. I did NOT say that every skill player he recruits is a small scatback. I said that he recruits too many scatbacks.

    simmer down boy!

  • i never brought up mcguffie fuckin retard. look at whose talking before you read the comments. he left cuz of family issues not because he was scared of getting hit. this is football you can get hard no matter where you play. the biggest hit i saw all year was in the D1aa where an app state player got destroyed. this is rich rods second year of recruiting and hes got a good set of wr's and a nice sized running back. your talking like like hes been recruiting for 10 years

  • "i never brought up mcguffie fuckin retard"

Michiganallday2 broguht him up. not you. I wasn't even addressing you. so fuck off

" he left cuz of family issues not because he was scared of getting hit."

exactly. tell that to your pal Michiganallday2

" this is football you can get hard no matter where you play"

but its tougher in the Big Ten then in most other conferences, and its tougher in other conferences then the big ten. i'd have figured you'd know that

  • @Poole1Dan shut up ohio st fan you know nothing about michigan football why are u commenting on michigan recruits???? go comment a osu video

  • I'm commenting on the videos of Michigan recruits cause I'm a loyal Michigan fan.

  • @Poole1Dan your not a michigan fan lol your far from it

  • your a fucking dumbshit dude if you werent talking to me then why did you reply to me then so you fuck off. it seems as tho you like to think you know alot about football i'd hope you have at least played it in your life.

  • @ktrave14 hes a loser he just goes around with his lisp and talks about how sucky michigan is i hate osu fans dont you

  • hell yeah man fuckin osu fans are a bitch. they can all go fuckthemselves

  • If I replied to you, that was an accident. My post about McGuffie was directed at michiganallday2, not you.

  • all man thats cool i realize that in a fury of typing you could screw up but i could deal without being called a honky thanks.

  • its cool. I call michganallday2 a bunch of deregotory white terms cause it reveals his racism against blacks. he once told me that niggers are the dumbest people on the planet. he's gonig to get the shit beat out of him one day. so yeah.

  • @Poole1Dan yea i did say that cuz u brought up cracker before i mentioned anything about your color so thats on you buddy u cant just bring something like that up and not expect someone to say something back to you Nigger and you or no other nigger will touch me

  • whats wrong with smaller skill positions? its not like everyone out there is tiny. we got big skill positions in this recruiting class so you need to stop the bitching about RR. gimme a break just root for the team down south if yur gunna cry like this about UM

  • whats wrong with them is that their bodies aren't big enough to handle the physicality of the big ten, which has resulted in many of them being injured. you need big skill guys like Braylon Edwards, Chris Perry, and Jason Avant to succeed in the Big Ten. Granted, there's execeptions to every rule (for example, Mario Manningham was on the smaller side but was a beast). However, if you looka round the Big Ten, its mostly all size, even among spread teams

  • "gimme a break just root for the team down south if yur gunna cry like this about UM"

I'm bitching at dickrod, not the Michigan football program. I support Michigan through thick and thin. But the head coach (who in our case is Rich Rodriguez)? Its like Mike Hart said: 'if he wins, everyone will love him." My thoughts exactly.

    Go Blue!

  • @ktrave14 he is a osu fan at heart he is not a michigan fan dude hes an idiot

  • dude u really need to cool it with this doom and gloom. i like for the most part the recruiting effort(especially on the defensive side lately) this year.i think even supporters of RR will find it difficult to do so if our beloved Wolverines do not win 7-13 wins next year..so be patient and wait it out like the rest of us.and if you end up being wrongabout RR,please admit it .otherwise SHUT UP!!! i think you have some validity in yourargument, but nobody likes to hear negativity.GOBLUE!!!

  • "i like for the most part the recruiting effort"

then you're like a Detroit Lions fan: you're settling for mediocrity. I'm sorry that dickrod has lowered you're expectations of Michigan football so badly.

If I'm wrong about dickrod and he makes the team a dominant program, then I'll gladly eat all my words.

and as far as my so called negativity goes, I'm calling it like I see it, whether thats negative or positive.

  • and your not getting the point i have talked about what rich rod inherited and those recruiting classes didnt produce and shit most of them kids either left or just plain out suck you mention mcguffie oneil cissicko and smith guess what none of those kids are on the damn team!! lol its what he has inherited u cant ridicule the guy and judge him with poor athletes or guys who dont fit his system or shit a defense who just cant play

  • " i have talked about what rich rod inherited"

so am I. And I'm telling you that richrod inherited PLENTY of Big Ten title worthy talent (41 fucking blue chip recruits in 2008, 40 in 2009). And he WASTED it. Plain and simple. The lack of production from alot of those players does not mean they aren't good, it means dickrod and his staff didn't develope them or didn't utilize them or misused them by shoving the goshdamn spread option down their throats. Its COACHING. Not a talent deficiency

  • " mention mcguffie oneil cissicko and smith guess what none of those kids are on the damn team!!"

again, so what? You seem to be incapable of distinguishing talent from production. I'm talking about talent, not production. And BTW, dickrod inherited all those players.....and ran all of them off. Watch and weep as McGuffie tears it up for Rice this season like Ryan mallet did for Arkansas last season

  • @Poole1Dan im talking about both if you have talent your supposed to produce dumbass and were talking about what rich rod inherited which isnt much and hahahahaha mcguffie left cuz his ass got popped ever other play he left cuz he couldnt handle the big ten hence why he left for RICE

  • "im talking about both if you have talent your supposed to produce"

I agree with that statement. I expect talented players to produce as well. However, just because you DON'T produce doesn't mean you're not talented. Your lack of production does not take away from your natural speed, agility, acceleration, jumping skills, strength, hands, etc. These skills are reflected in your star rating on rivals and scout and have been for 8 years now. I'll admit that dickrod did not inherit a ton of

  • production, but that doesn't take away from the fact that he inherited alot of TALENT (41 blue chip recruits). It is a head coaches job to make best with the talent that he's got, and dickrod inherited alot of talent. I rightfully expected an 11-2 season (8 wins at the least) in 2008, but dickrod wasted all the talent we had. Then we went 5-7 last season when we should ahve been in Big Ten championship contention with Iowa and Ohio State.

And McGuffie? He left cause he saw the writing on

  • yea he wasted talent like and inherited great players like steven threet and nick sheridan hahahahha

  • Thats right, he inherited alot talented plays (41 to be exact). Try and argue against that. Sheridan talentless cause he's a walkon, but Threet? He was a mid level 4 star recruit who was ranked as the 9th ebst player in Michigan, the 9th best pocketpasser nationally, and the 170th best overall recruit. He had offers from Georgia tech, Illinois, North Carolina State, Stanford, and Wisconsin. Threet is a talented QB. he struggled on the field in 2008 cause he was a redshirt freshmen and was

  • forced to run an ofense (the spread option) not suited for his skillset. Your baseless opinions on Threet do not matter. The emprirical evidence shows that he's a talented QB. Case closed

wanna talk about any other 4 or 5 star player that dickrod inherited? Wanna talk about Ryan mallet, and how you idiotitically say he sucks?

  • fix your lisp

  • I don't have a lisp to fix

  • mcguffie left cuz the guy had about 3 concussions dumbass

  • NOPE. he left cause he claimed he was homesick. Nobody transfer cause of concussions. You quit football if you have too many concussions. McGuffie wantst to play closer to home and wants to play for a team that, you know, wins football games. Dickrods culture of losing is killing the Wolverines program

  • yea your right like rice lol a team who has been to bowl games 2 outta like 30 years lol

  • And both of those bowl games came in the last 4 years, which is the same percentage as.....Michigan. Thanks dickrod!!! ROFL. Rice has had a winning season more recently then Michigan and been to a bowl game more recently then Michigan

  • there are 4 kids who are 5 "10 in this class lol out of how many ???? so please shut the fuck up

  • the wall, not to mention he was homesick.

One more thing: you have contradicted yourself by saying McGuffie can't handle the "pop" of the Big Ten. McGuffie is 5'11, 185. He's the kind of small skill position player that dickrod loves, and you said he cou;dn't handle the big ten. Yet here you are jizzing your pants about the small skill guys dickrod has recruited (Teric Jones, Vincent Smith, Martavious odoms, etc). what makes you think those guys can handle the pop of the big ten? idiot

  • no he i did not actually i never mentiod his size i mentionded he couldnt take a hit u dumbfuck lol there are plenty of players like smith who can take a hit and get right back up mcguffie could not so how am i contradicting myself??? lol your a complete idiot

  • Since you're too much of a pee-brain to understand logic, I'll explain it for you:

-you asserted that McGuffie couldn't couldn't handle Big Ten defenses and that he could not take a hit.

    -McGuffie is 5'11, 185

-You have told me before that I should not worry about dickrods little skill guys (like McGuffie) getting injured

-McGuffie transfers, and you blame it on......injuries

You say they won't get injured only when it fits your agenda.

    thats how you contradict yourself

  • im done talking to you your ignorant and u make no sense rich rod inherited shitty players.....steven threet is not good and will never be good and rich rods recruits very well and the kids he does recruit are not tiny just take a look at our class dipshit go fix your lisp

  • "rich rod inherited shitty players"

No he did not. he inherited a team stacked with blue chip recruits and produced a an 8-16 record in 2 years out of it. He took a rainbow sherbert sunday and barfed all over it and ruined it.

I have provided evidence that Threet is talented. you have not.

Not dickrod nor anyone else can bring in good recruiting classes when a culture of losing is established. you are seeing this fact manifest itself in this 2010 class, and you are also seeing it

  • how have u provided evidence that thrreet is good??? were talking about good players here dip shit threet is not good lol tell me how he was please prove this to me i would love to hear this

  • "were talking about good players"

Threets lack of star production in 2008 is strictly because he was an inexperienced redshirt freshmen who was put ina position where he had no chance of being a star. It had NOTHING to do with this mythical lack of talent. I;'ve alrwady proven that threet had talent. go back and read what I said about his rankings. Dennis Erickson, one of the greatest coaches of the last 20 years, wanted Threet to play for him at Arizona state. Threet has talent

  • in the early forcasts for 2011.

also, 9 of the 20 skill kids dickrod has recruited are scatbacks who are in the 5'9 175 pound range. he's recruiting alot of tiny skill kids, and jujst as I predicted, alot of them have battled injuries (McGuffie, Odoms, Vincent Smith, Terrance Robinson).

  • check his two classes dipshit and see the size most of all this one dick head this one is not small at all so shut your ass up

  • Here are the 20 skill position players (tailbacks, receivers, athletes) that dickrod has recruited in his time at Michigan: Terrance Robinson, Michael Shaw, Roy Roundtree, Martavious Odoms, Justin Feagin, Denard Robinson, Vincent Smith, Fitzgerald Toussaint, Teric Jones, Cameron Gordon, Je'Ron Stokes, Jeremy Gallon, Stephen Hopkins, Austin White, Ricardo Miller, D.J Williamson, Jerald Robinson, Jeremy Jackson, Drew Dileo, and Cornelius Jones.

of those 20 skill kids, 7 of them are

  • shorter then 6 ft and weight less then 190 pounds, while Shaw is an underweight, 177 pound tailback and Roundtree a recruit who was 154 coming in (and he subsequently got injured and missed the entire 2008 season). The lack of size dickrod is recruiting at the skill positions has resulted in injuires and will continue to result in injuries. you need size to avoid injuires and succeed in the big ten.

  • lol there is no problem w him recruiting them type of players dipshit you mentioned injuries but how many games has martavious odoms missed in the past two seasons? how many games did vincent smith sit out this year do to injury ?? none of them get or got injured mroe than your boys minor and brown and roundtree didnt miss 2008 because of a injury jackass

  • "there is no problem w him recruiting them type of players dipshit "

yes there is. Most of them do not have All-American speed and agility to make up for their lack of size. Most of them are too small to be playmakers in the big ten and have been/will continue to be injured. You need size at the skill positions. Michigan used to have big athletic skill players like Perry, Thomas, Braylon Edwards, Jason aavant, and Adrian Arrington, and those guys stayed healthy and were great.

  • "how many games has martavious odoms missed in the past two seasons?"

five. he missed the game against Toledo after Illinois beat the shit out of him. Then he missed the last 4 games last season (his last game was against the physical defense of Penn State).

"how many games did vincent smith sit out this year do to injury"

None. But he tore his ACL against.....you guessed it, the big physical defense of Ohio state. he might not even be able to play next season.

  • what 9 kids in this class are little u arent answering me

  • "none of them get or got injured mroe than your boys minor and brown"

wrong. Minor and Brown were both mostly healthy in 2008 and 2009. Both were very productive in the playing time that they had. Meanwhile, T-Rob missed the entire 2008 season, Odoms has missed 5 games, Smith has busted his ACL and may have to take a medical redshirt, Toussaint redshirted in 09 cause he fucked himself up in training camp. Ditto Roundtree in 2008. Shaw missed 3 games in 09 and 3 in 08 due to a bad hammy.

  • martavious has missed 5 games??? what 5 games were these??? lol

  • The 5 games odoms missed were the Toledo game in 2008 and the games against Illinois, Purdue, Wisconsin, and Ohio State last season. look it up

  • and im sorry minor and brown were both healthy in 2009 lol r u kidding minor couldnt even play the first game of the season nor the last which is the biggest vs osu dipshit

  • "minor couldnt even play the first game of the season nor the last which is the biggest vs osu dipshit'

Minor led all tailbacks in carries, yards, and touchdowns. he was the co-starter along with Carlos Brown. So yes, he was healthy. you're clueless. He didn't play against Western and Ohio state for the same reasons he didn't play last season: dickrod thought he was supposedly not healthy enought to play, even though he would be so well on the touches he got.

  • your an idiot lol haah so rich rod kept him out of those games?? lol your a fucking fool minor stated several times throught last year he was 80 percent if the kid was healthy he would have played lol your such and idiot you make stuff up and your try to believe it im sure brown didnt have a concussion either lol STUPID!!!

  • I address the injuries to brown and minor in the message I sent to you.

  • @Poole1Dan u dont have to adress any injuries to me lol i seen them pussys sitting on the sideline not taking snaps and brown not even making the trip to iowa dumbass

  • Any ailments Brown and Minor have had are NOTHING in comparison to the small skill kids dickrod has recruited. *bing bing* I win

" roundtree didnt miss 2008 because of a injury jackass"

Yes he did. IIRC, he had a busted leg. whatever it was, he was redshirted cause he was injured. He definitely would ahve contributed as a true freshmen if he was healthy.

  • yea your right rich rod is a horrible recruiter who just landed dorsey a top 2 saftey lol

  • " rich rod is a horrible recruiter"

I didn't say dickrod was a horrible recruiter. I said that the culture of losing he has implemented prevents Michigan from bringing in all the blue chip talent they bought in before. Its gotten so bad that Rashad Knight chooses RUTGERS over us! Rutgers would never be able to steal a blu8e chipper from us like that in the past, when we were, you know, WINNING!!!

  • he also chose rutgers over ole miss stupid ass and many other colleges

  • "he also chose rutgers over ole miss stupid ass and many other colleges"

It came down to Rutgers and Michigan you brainless cracker. And he chose RUTGERS. How embarrasing is that??? Lloyd Carr would be crucufued if he let something like that happen. I remember we wanted to kill Carr when Jai Eugene decommited and went to LSU, and thats Lousiana fucking State, two time BCS national champions! The fact that Knight came down to Rutgers vs. Michigan and chose Rutgers just reeks of how bad

  • @Poole1Dan ok and dorsey picked us over usc and fla st and drosey is 10 times better so what does that tell you ??? so again your wrong go fix your lisp nigger before i hang you

  • @Poole1Dan and devin gardner chose us over lsu and florida so what does that tell you??? lol your a fucking stupid but i wouldnt expect nothing else from a stinky nigger

  • "devin gardner chose us over lsu and florida"

again, what does that ahve to do with the fact that a blue chipper spurned us for rutgers?

  • @Poole1Dan ur a fuckign idiot your basically saying a blue chipper picked rutgers over us or that our wow factor is gone or our prestige is gone how when we still have top recruits picking us every year jackass thats my point and that has everything to do with knight because knight is not better than dorsey gardner christian or marvin robinson and hmmmm they all chose michigan diddnt they

  • "your basically saying a blue chipper picked rutgers over us"

thats right. thats exactly what happened with Knight. I dare you to name me just one other example where a blue chip recruit came down to picking either Michigan or a produnk school like Rutgers but chose the podunk school. That is unprecedented and reeks of the culture of losing dickrod has implemented

  • @Poole1Dan u dont knwo why the kid chose rutgers ove rmichigan maybe he felt there was to much depth just because rashad knight some low class db chose rutgers over michigan doesnt mean shit cuz like i said a 5 star saftey just chose us over usc and fla st and tennessee so there you go its debunked

  • " dont knwo why the kid chose rutgers ove rmichigan"

Doesn't matter what his motive was, cause the fact is its never happened before. And you want to talk about the depth chart? Seriously??? The same idiot who thinks we have no talent at safety is suddenyl saying Knight went to rutgers because he was scared of.......Michigans safeties???? wow! you're such a hypocrite!!! you dickrod supporters really don't know how to make a coherent argument, do you?

  • @Poole1Dan first of all knight is going to play sftey dipshit he is playing corner and with dorsey here why and robisnon here why would i say our safteys suck mike williams sucks and so does willfolk both carr guys by the way but vlad marvin demar jt turner all can be very good players

  • " first of all knight isn't going to play sftey dipshit"

Yes he is. He was recruited by everyone to play safety even though he's listed as a cornerback. See, as a true Michigan fan, i actually follow recruiting and know my shit. but hell,e ven if Knight was gonig to play cornerback, you'd still be a hypocrite cause you have said all our cornerbacks suck and yet you say Knight is somehow afraid of the depth there.

  • Comment removed

  • hey #1PoopDan how do you Know that everyone was recruiting him to play safety. Hey allDay2 i guess this guys got the inside scoop with RR. YUR Dumb Dorsey is the #2 safety and even RR is seeing what he can do at corner first then put him at safety if he cant do it.

  • "how do you Know that everyone was recruiting him to play safety"

Cause thats what i read on Michigan dot rivals and on mgoblog. If they were wrong, talk to them, not me.

  • Comment removed

  • "all can be very good players"

A HA!!!!! I'VE GOT YOU!! The entire point of me defending the 2006, 2007, and 2008 classes and saying they were loaded with talent was to demonstrate that all three of those classes were loaded with players that have the strong potential to BE VERY GOOD PLAYERS

You're hypocrisy is on display yet again

  • @Poole1Dan the players that i lsited havent even seen the fucking field u dumbass lol the ones in the 06 and 07 classes have and havent done shit since lol ur a fucking idiot but your a nigger so im not surpirsed

  • "the players that i lsited havent even seen the fucking field"

thats irrelevant, cause the fact is when they came here, they had the great potential to be good, just like Turner and Christian and Dorsey do. *kisses*

  • Comment removed

  • "rashad knight some low class db"

there you go again making shit up. Knight was a mid level 4 star recruit who was the 19th ebst safety in the antion and the 46th best player in Florida. he runs a 4.42 and had offers from Auburn, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Maryland, Wake Forest, and west Virginia. Knight is a talented and coveted recruit.

  • @Poole1Dan okay and he cose rutgers over all those schools you just listed lol don tu see how dumb you are?? he piccked rutgers over us over gt over ole miss over auburn lol u idiot and i tell you one thing he aint better then demar dorsey so why do we need him??

  • "and he cose rutgers over all those schools you just listed"

doesn't matter. it came down to a final two of Rutgers and Michigan, and he chose RUTGERS. How embarrasing is that?? thanks alot dickrod!!!

and its not a matter of us needing Knight. The Dorsey commitment makes up for losing out on Knight. The point is that dickrod has created a culture of lsoing which has now caused Michigan to unprecedently lose out on a blue chip recruit to.....Rutgers!!!

  • Comment removed

  • "is a horrible job and he probably would never come to a school like michigan"

again, look at the numbers: the amount of blue chip talent we are getting is getting smaller and smaller. we aren't yet at the point where we can't get a single blue chipper, but we are definitely heading down that dark road

  • Comment removed

  • "the kids u mentioned have already showed what there made of"

that doesn't matter either, cause when they arrived onc ampus, they had the potential to be good, just like today Dorsey and Turner and other young blue chips have the potential to be good.

  • @Poole1Dan again it does matter because guess what those kids again like i have said werent and arent good so u can stop hoping and wishing........ twhy do you hate michigan so much ???? i mean do u really liek osu that much

  • "again it does matter"

No it doesn't. Hindsight is 20-20. You can't just say that guys like Turner and Dorsey ahve the potential to be good and then say the 2006, 2007, and 2008 classes sucked and never had the potential to be good. That is a blatant contradiction (which is typical of you).. Every single blue chip recruit has the strong potential of ebing really good. Whether they actually become good is a completely seperate issue.

  • "twhy do you hate michigan so much?"

I don't hate Michigan, and I don't like Ohio State. Next question

  • "how when we still have top recruits picking us every"

Look at the numbers kid: this 2010 class has the lowest percentage of blue chip recruitsd ever (23.1%), and the lowest total number of blue chip recruits ever (6). In 2011, only have blue chippers are even considering us let alone close to commiting to us. The numbers show that Michigans lsoing is causing fewer and fewer blue chip recruits to come to Michigan.

  • dickrod has made Michigan football!!!! if you can't see that, then you're a douchy mcdoucehbag

  • how many kids in this class our tiny or these small kids you say ?? n fact both our running back are really big backs

  • 9 of them are tiny. i answered that question already. haven't you learned to read?

  • 9 of them are??? please name them on this class name the 9 kids who are small please

  • The following 7 skill kids are dickrod recruits and are all between 5'5 and 5'11 and all below 190 pounds; Terrance Robinson (1), Martavious Odoms (2), Vincent Smith (3), Fitzgerald Toussaint (4), Teric Jones (5), Jeremy Gallon (6), and Drew Dileo (7). In addition to those 7, there are two other skill kids in Michael Shaw and Roy Roundtree who, even though they are both 6'0, are/were still incredibly skinny (Shaw is 177, Roundtree was 154). When Roundtree was 154, he got busted up in fall

  • camp and subsequently missed the entire 2008 season. Then when he buffed up to a more reasonable 174, eh stayed healthy. Shaw meanwhile is a 177 pound fucking tailback, where as every other 6 ft tailback Michigan has had was at least 200 pounds (Carlos Brown, Brandon Minor, Chris Perry, Anthony Thomas, B.J Askew, etc).

yep. thats 9 small skill kids out of 20.

  • what 9 kids in this class are small ??? please tell me this please u wont answer my question

  • "what 9 kids in this class are small ???"

I've answered this queastion twice already, but I'll do it a third time, and I'll keep it simple:

the skill kids who are small are Terrance Robinson (1), Martavious Odoms (2), Vincent Smith (3), Fitzgerald Toussaint (4), Teric Jones (5), Jeremy Gallon (6), Drew Dileo (7), Michael Shaw (8), and Roy Roundtree (9).

    there. done.

  • those are not FROM THISCLASS YOU MORON your a fucking idiot u know that lol

  • I didn't say they were from this class. i said that of the 20 skill kids dickrod has recruited, 9 of them are small. but obviously you failed to make the inferfence that I was talking about every skill kid that dickrod recruited in the 2008, 2009, and 2010 classes, which is not my problem, and which doesn't change the fact that 9 of the 20 skill position players dickrod has recruited are indeed small

  • still not pointing it out stupid those are last years names im reading are you really this stupid??

  • " u cant ridicule the guy and judge him with poor athletes"

LIE. He did NOT inherit poor players. He inherited 3 and a half dozen TALENTED blue chippers whom all the prestigious, powerhouse schools covet. You have NO evidence that these guys lack talent. NONE. You base it on production, which is irrelavant to talent. I told you: Mike Hart had practically no talent but was incredibly productive. Same goes other low level 3 star recruits or walkons like Brian Griese and Andre Wadsworth.

  • "or guys who dont fit his system"

too damn abd that they don't fit his system. Its dickrods just to adjust to the players he inherits and to put them in a position to make plays.

And the defense? 2008: all of the 11 starters save Obi Ezeh and John Thompson were blue chip players, and 2009, all of the starters save Ezeh, Troy Woolfolk, and Jordan Kovacs were blue chippers. The talent was there. The problem was AWFUL COACHING.

  • @Poole1Dan kovacs s a damn walk on and just cuz those guys are blue chips in some high school division doesnt mean there gonna prduce in college and obi ezeh sucks balls and so do all the other guys rich rod inherited and i cant believed u named troy woolfolk lol that guy is fucking horrible he wont even start next year a freshman will run his spot

  • Kid, how old are you? Cause you've just shown that you are lacking in basic grammatical skills. I said that every starter in 2008 SAVE (except/with the exception of/other than/not including, etc) Ezeh and Thompson were blue chip recruits. And in 2009, every starter on defense except/with the exception of/other than/not including Woolfolk, Kovacs, and Ezeh were blue chippers. My gosh, you're a fuckin baby! How do not understand that I was not calling Kovacs and Woolfolk blue chippers?

  • "just cuz those guys are blue chips in some high school division doesnt mean there gonna prduce in college"

that doesn't matter, cause the fact is the majority of starters on defense (and half of the players dickrod inherited) were TALENTED, 4 and 5 star recruits. He inherited PLENTY of talent, and he wasted it. Michigan shouild have won AT LEAST 8 games in 08 and 09 given their talent level, and they didn't. Why? Cause of horrible coaching from dickrod and friends!

  • ok lol so the players rich rod inherited sucked not talent or couldnt play and u pick which one and ill destroy you in why they do suck

  • "the players rich rod inherited sucked not talent"

There you go again with your baseless claims. You can't provide a shred of proof of why dickrod did not inherit lots of talent. You're just like brewhacunt: you can't back yourself up. And it is especially pathetic that you can't distibguish between talent and production, or between attrition and production for that matter. You were probably saying justin fargas sucked when he left for USC. How did that work out you baby back bitch?

  • BTW, although I did NOT say Woolfolk was a blue chipper, he will nonetheless start next season at either strong safety or cornerback. He wasn't great last year, but he wasbn't bad either. He was okay, and now that he's a senior and a returning starter, he should step up to being a good producer next season.

  • @Poole1Dan

    YAWN!!!

  • tradition and history as well as the specific coach u play for can only go so far in a pitch to get attention from 5 stars or 4 stars to sign..but if u have a constant winning streak, bowl streak, and sending off about 4-9 players off to the nfl repeatedly (ohio st,usc, florida, oklahoma)obviously theyll have the attention. Michigan couldve had more if they atleast went to a bowl game WINNING says and does alot.

  • Does anyone know the song

    BTW GO BLUE!!!!!!!

  • Look at the classes of Florida, usc, alabama, texas, is it a coincidence that they recruit the top ranked players and get in the top ranked bowls? We're never gonna get back to winning with this 3 star outrage. The 2011 better be a top 10 class with only 3 or 4 3 stars and the rest 4 and 5 stars. And for god sake RR, can you get a defensive TACKLE to sign with you? We are incredibly low at a huge position. I dont care what anybody says, this is a bad class, and you all know it, stop hiding.

  • Yep. This is a bad class. To many "meh" 3 star recruits that MAC teams are after. You can only count on so many 3 stars to be sleepers. Hell, two of our commitments (Tony Drake and D.J Williamson) did not get offers from ANYONE else other then Michigan! (lucily for us, Drake probably won't qualify academically). This 2010 class has been very bad. Its only ranked in the top 20 cause of Devin Gardner

BTW, is it just me, or are you really starting to, uh, get negative with Rodriguez? (:

  • 9 overall

  • " is it just me, or are you really starting to, uh, get negative with Rodriguez"

    it's just you.......

  • i just read that we have 26 commits so does that mean tony drake finally doesnt count??

  • I'm not sure about Drake, there were comments regarding him not being eligible, but I'm not sure how true they are. He's still on the list at rivals. But I haven't heard one way or the other and probably won't for a bit, see Witty from '09 & Witherspoon from '08..same situation.

  • yea i agree with the tonry drake kid not being so good but dj williamson is ranked pretty high out of the state of ohio

  • Actually, Williamson is a low level 3 star commit who is not ranked among the receivers and is only the 46th best recruit in ohio. I give Williamson credit for having blazing speed, but thats not good enough to be a playmaker. Williamson seems to be the next Darrius Heyward Bey, and even Heyward Bey was a 4 star recruit.

  • "thats not good enough to be a playmaker"

    Opinion.

  • when have we got a huge amount of 5 star players??? lol carr recruited well but landed like 3 or 4 real good players then the rest werent shit rod inherited horrible depth and talent

  • I didn't say Carr got a huge amount of 5 star players. I said he got a huge amount of 4 and 5 star players, AKA, blue chip recruits. This fact is backed up by the statistics I gave you on another video (I think it was the Jake Ryan video). Carr landed way more then 3 or 4 good players. He lended MULTIPLE blue chip players who had the talent to be college stars. Some of them worked out, some of them did not. Either way, they were talented, and you can't fault Carr for recruiting them.

  • "Some of them worked out, some of them did not. Either way, they were talented, and you can't fault Carr for recruiting them."

Wow, another HORSE ASS post, whats new?

So RR doesn't get a chance to even see if his 2,3,4 stars will work or not, instead he needs to be ridicued for his recruting efforts...seems a little unfair, but hey, this is your delusional way of thinking.

  • i loved carr but me and my buddys say all the time rich rod did not inherit the best talent look at there classes before rod got there in 06 and 07 and im betting a million dollars almost half of those kids from both classes dont play or has not done anything

  • even some of the so called "experts" say this too. Even if the talent was there, it was recruited for an entire different ball game. I respect Carr too, he did a great job, but his brand of ball is entirely different than RR's.

  • again, so what? Its dickrods responsibility to put his players in a position where they can, you know, produce. he failed to do that. He jammed his shitty spread option offense down the teams throat, not to mentioned he didn't fully utilize the likes of Carlos Brown and Brandon Minor and insisted on feeding the rock to unproductive players like Shittavious Odoms and Michael Shaw.Talent is talent. you either coach it up and utilzie it or you don't.

  • There you go again with all your shit smearing...nice job dickhead, way to ruin another perfectly fine recruiting video with all this garbage!

Too bad you haven't learned what "summarizing" is, instead, it's shit, smeared all over the place...nice job fruit loop!

  • of course he jammed his spread offens eu dumbass thats what he runs why would he run anything different and guess what carlos brown and minor had better years this past year than any of there years at michigan do u go to school cuz your a complete idiot

  • Its doesn't matter that the spread option is what he runs. It was an offense that did not fit michigans skillset, so for dickrod to jam it down the players throats was reckless and irresponsible. When Urban meyer arrivied in Florida in 2005, he scraped the offense he ran at Utah and run a version of the spread that FIT HIS PLAYERS (like the immobile Chris Leak), and then when he got players like Tim Tebow and Percy Harvin, he went back to the misdirection-oriented offense he ran with the Utes.

  • why couldn't dickrod do the same with Michigan? Here's why: cause he's too stubborn and arrogant to adjust his offense. He's like Barack Obama: he blames everyone else for the problems but himself, even though he's the one who caused them. He's not fit to be the head coach at the University of Michigan, and he's also not qualified per his 8-16 overall record and his 3-13 record in Big Ten play and his 0-2 record against Ohio State.

  • "carlos brown and minor had better years this past year than any of there years at michigan"

so what? The fact remains that they had only 177 combined carries in 2009 and 132 in 2008 despite being mostly healthy both seasons. Dickrod underutilized them. Plain and simple. They are fantastic runningbacks, and he underutilzied them. He especially let Brown rot in hell in 2008.

  • they were mostly healthy for both seasons? lol is this a joke or were you being serious

  • Nope. its not a joke. Minor and Brown were mostly healthy in both 2008 and 2009. Look at how well Minor did when dickrod finally utilized him in the 2nd half of the 2008 season. Look how well he did in the first half of the 2008 season on his very limited touches, when he was scoring a TD like ever 3 touches. Look how well Brown did when he finally got the chance to shine against Northwestern (when he was supposedly on his way to a medical redshirt). Look how well both guys did when they

  • were utilized in 2009. When Brown and Minor played, they NEVER played like they were injured. They played like the talented and productive tailbacks that they are. They were supposed to be injured and unable to produce, yet they produced whenever dickrod utilzied them. This clearly means that although they might ahve been digned up, they were healthy enough to play (alot) and to be productive. and yet, dickrod, idiotically, misused them.

  • its pretty hard to utilize a player(s) who 're hurt like every other game the last 2 seasons of their career.

  • Brown and Minor were dinged up, but so was Hart throughout 2007, and that didn't stop Carr from utilizsing him and from Hart having 265 carries for 361 yards and 14 touchdowns. Look at the way Minor and Brown ran in every game last season and in 2008: they were fine! We're they 100%? No. But so what? They were healthy enough to play and be playmakers, and dickrod wasted them, just like he;'s wasted the entire team the last two seasons

  • right he mentiond they were helthy last season lol what games was he watching because both of them were injured like hell again last season hes an idiot

  • I watched every game last season. And I saw two tailbacks who both averaged over 5 yards per carry and who scored lots of touchdowns and who never played like they were injured. Carlos Brown and Brandon Minor will go down as the most misused tailbacks in Michigan history. I feel sooooooo bad for both of them. They deserved better. Hopefully they can make it to the NFL. They were NOT injured like hell. Its just that dickrod didn't utilzie them and sued their supposed "bad injuries" as an excuse

  • How can you say dickrod did not inherit good talent when half the shcolarship roster in 2008 and 2009 was compsoed of players that the Floridas and USC's of the world live off of? Whether those kids don't play or don't do well is IRRELEVANT to how talented they are. Carr did his job in recruting by consistently bringing in top level talent. This 2010 class does not have top flight talent. Hopefully we get Dorsey, Parker, and Knight. If that happens, then this 2010 class will be the same
