Great job. Thanks for the tips. I'm in the process of doing one. I am using Valspar satin white for the stripes and satin black for the top coat. I won't put any clear on it, to keep the satin finish. I am also using a different style of guitar.

What is the sanding at the end of the project for?

@giridog Wetsanding after the clear coat smooths out the finish dramaticly and gets all the paint runs out. After the clear coat is sprayed on there is a "orange peel" look to the finish if you look closly and it is not very smooth. start watching the video at 8:30 and if u look carfully you can see what i mean

Yes it does but make sure that there is a lot of clear coat on top of it all.
