My friend has invited me to go to a Pontins resort with her and some other people and I thought it'd be a nice idea until I saw the reviews on tripadvisor...lots of cases of filthy rooms and food poisoning! Will have to make my excuses I think.
@TheMajorAssassin - the staff were all made redundant on 21st November. Their lack of enthusiasm could well have been because they knew that it was on the cards.
i went to a place called efteling..it was so freakin AMAZING!!!! It looked beutiful had specially themed spick and span rooms and was really great fun, i am not associated with them I just thought it was like better than disneyland/world i haven't been there lately though :(
and fixed the shower and filled of the bottem of the door so the lock worked. i have just finished doing my work expirience there as a bluecoat and i can say it is hard work! anyone who want to be a bluecoat and deal with the trouble they have to i say good on them! i myself have 2 years befor i can be one but that is still my goal! if i have ofended i opolodgise that is just my opinion and i would not apriciate nasty coments thank you xxx
yes britania have done some bad things "updating" the charactors has compleatly killed there magic for me however the bluecoats make my holiday no-matter what the state of my chalet is! they always have a smile a hug or a joke for you and are always willing to listen to your stories and if you ask/tell someone about your challet then there is a team on had to eather move you or fix the problems with you challet. my mum got stuck in the bog coz of a dodgy lock we called them and they came.
hey, as you will tell by my name i love pontins! ok the chalets are not perfect (far from it) however f you go to a park such as prestatyn they are kuch cleaner and much nicer. they are AS I TYPE fixing up all of the challets bit by bit at southport and prestatyn and over the next 2 months the rest of the parks. new cement on the walls, new wallpaper, new cookers and bathrooms new EVERYTHIGN!!!

we clicked on pakefield on their website then clicked the big accommodation button at the top of the page a video came up showing a very nice chalet with a living room and kitchen, so as we had booked bed and breakfast holiday we though there would be some where to cook other meals, but there was no kitchen not even a fridge to keep the food in we had taken with us,
we had the unfortunate experiance of having to stay here at brean sands, we left a few days early as so discusted with the state of the place, the way we were treated by the staff was abismal, felt sorry for the blue coats who were the only ones trying their best to keep people happy, but sorry you can't polish a turd!
We stayed here in 2009 on a Sun £9.50 Holiday. Dirty, smelly, staff didn't care and made you feel an inconvenience. Not been since Britannia took over, but it doesn't look any better. Chalets severely outdated and tbh the whole place needs levelling and re-building! You can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear!
i stayed here in July. I went to t4 on the beach and payed over £300 for two people to stay for 4 nights. Absolubly disgusting!!! sitting on the sofa made my skin crawl, ,bed sheets dirty, they gave us the smaller room when we paid for the luxury one Everything these people have said is so true. After complaining twice they acted like i was the first person to ever complain and i got no compensation, i felt sick when i saw this on watch dog last week, they need closing down never mind cleaning!
I watched this on Thursday's Watchdog it was disgusting I certainly won't go on Holiday now I think I will have a hol at home nothing but quiet and stress free not spending ages on the Motorway and feeling cramped.

My pic is the one at 2:25 ( The pic of the bathroom floor up) of this.....my photography so chuffed its on the show and also so chuffed now people will know how disgusting this place really is and how to NOT GO THERE as its a HEATH HAZZARD for ANYONE Children,Adults..everybody...just if you want a nice holiday or a place to relax ... DON T GO TO PONTINS........ xx
