Prepare for Take Off! iMac i7 Extreme Fan Noise

i do have that same problem with my IMac that fan started workin very loud since this morning, i tried to get rid of this turning on and off the computer several times, but the fan is still on... can somebody tell me what to do or why this happens?

Hi,i have a iMac just bought it recently and i have this squeaking noise near at the optical drive when it's booting,just want to know if that is normal?,cause i didn't have that kind of noise on the first week that used it,Thanks

@icudnotask4m0re You should hear a noise when it's booting. It's just the drive searching for a disc. I don't know if i'd describe it as a "squeak" but it does make an audible sound.

Sorry to be the bad new bear but first with the 27" Mac screen with res 2560X1440 thats pointless, movies are in 1080P so that res is pointless, desktop and programs are about the only thing that will use the res pictures wont look any better. Also iMac are known for overheating issues.

@myjailbreakmovies Yeah but can you have a GTX 590 on a Mac? What about the HD 6990? Can you overclock it better? I doubt that. It's not a PC because you can run windows 7 on it. PC is a PC because it allows you to have freedom. Just sayin' (Personal Computer). Mac's are more like (Apples computer, not yours, you're just borrowing it)

@NickLaz0r You're preaching to the choir. I've been a PC guy up until last year. Ready my profile on iDB. I just recently switched to Mac, so I know what I'm gaining and I know what I'm losing. I've had high end PC's in the past; it was fun, but I've moved on. I don't game anymore, I just do video and business, so the Mac is by far better suited for that in my opinion. And considering the line of work I'm in, I couldn't get away with a dedicated PC anyway.
