I love this song n all the song on this album.I grew up in Jamaica loving charlie,Skeeter n Jim Reeves singing Gospel music on Friday nights and Sunday morning,Charlie is still doing outstanding at his age.Thank u Charlie,we LOVE U.
My dad just went home to be with Jesus 2 days ago. Listening to Charley Pride music has help to ease the pain. I remember many times listening to his songs while learning to dance with my dad. We danced to Charley Pride, Jim Reeves, Hank Williams and many more great Country Music oldies. Charley Pride has always been my favorite. Just before going up stairs to be with family and turn off the life support I said this very same prayer.
Thank you so much for posting this song. My mother is a HUGE Charlie Pride fan and she had this exact album that she use to play every Sunday after mass while making dinner. I grew up with his music... all the good memories from my childhood came flooding back!! Oh...to be back in time again!! Thanks again for posting!!
@jackiehachey You're quite welcome! I'm a very nostalgic person myself, and am glad that this could be used to bring a few old memories wafting through the mind. Charley still sounds good, even at this stage of life.
Thank you so much for sharing these Charlie Pride songs. I grew up in Jamaica listening to my father and others playing His records, Jim Reeves, Skeeter Davis and some others. I was born in the 1970s, so even though a child then, these songs mean so much to me and even though my Father has passed on, I feel close to him when I listen to these songs today. I feel Blessed to have found them on here. Thanks so much for sharing and God Bless you.
@sherinepray Very happy you enjoyed them. You know, Jim Reeves is another favorite of mine, and he was also one of Charley's inspirations. Its really incredible how songs can transport us back in time - I have a group of songs that do the same for me!
thanks for posting the song. I last hard it about 20 years ago. Godbless.

This is the first time I hear that song from Charley, I am moved to tears by the words.
In Jesus ' name I pray, this is so true we are nothing without him, without his guidance and protection.
We love you Lord
