my point being is if we were genetically engineered, is that we have a use, they wanted us to be able to adapt to our current environmental conditions. after a certain point our consciousness shifted to where we became cognizant of some of the things going on, and we rebelled. thats where we start getting things like civilizations springing up/etc. and if we are coming into our own, we need to find our place in the universe, which is indescribably infinite. but like you said this isnt the forums

Therefore, apes still stand among us, because they didn't evolve; we only mated with our engineered kind. This explains why we can't find a missing link- there never was one. Furtherly, this is why there is such a difference between apes and humans in such a short period of time. We evolved drastically, and this genetic creation theory is a logical explaination.

Sometimes large chromosomes break into two separate ones. Sometimes smaller ones join together. There is ample evidence that particular common genes in gorillas contained on two of their smaller chromosomes are found on one of our larger chromosomes. In plants, this sort of thingis extremely common and in bacteria, even more so.

That is why we share more than 99% of our DNA with chimps and 98% with gorillas so the assertion that we have nothing in common is bunkum. By the way, the missing link theory that you are spouting as some sort of theory worth debunking is plain stupid because the idea that man descended directly from apes was dismissed 100 years ago.
