  • haha he said sixth hoe

  • didn't pebble beach used to be a par 72?

  • @theboss2432 don't speak misinformed rubbish. Northern Ireland is in Britain

  • ders a cliff der do

  • fat prick with a stupid fucking yank accent

  • 09015 22 23 06 graeme mcdowell sports personality of the year VOTE RIGHT NOW NOT GOT LONG

  • I'm not English, and Northern Ireland is part of the UK

  • @lmd141 ahhhhh you're scottish - doesn't it annoy you that the BBC call Andy Murray British when he's doing well but Scottish when he has bad form???

  • @Shaftsus it annoys me when they call him English, that's just completely ridiculous. He's not the only one mind you that they do that with. The good thing though is that whenever some English person does well, aka Lewis Hamilton + Lee Westwood, I can claim we're all part of Britain.

  • He's from NORTHERN ireland, not REPUBLIC OF Ireland. So he is British

  • I live on the hopefield road the same road as he lives on :]

  • good player

  • He is British, Northern Ireland is part of Britain...

  • D Johnson hitting it lefthanded was cool.

  • In the hole McDowell!

    Excellent

  • Think you'll find he's from N-Ireland. Portrush.........green,gold and white is another country mate.

  • what is with this guys accent?? its irish with a twist of american in there

  • what is it with mcdowells accent???

  • What a sad Open this was. Congrats to McDowell, as he deserved the win--but honestly--no Open (British or US) should be decided by players backing away from the challange. McDowell outdueled the meek here. And Tiger has got more problems than any of his fans--and I'm a huge Tiger fan--could have possibly imagined. It's not his body, but his mind that is completely broken now. He said it was a mistake to go for the pin on Ten--that Stevie talked him into it--with a S-Wedge????

  • Way to go G-Mac! The Blazer Nation Salutes you! Loud and Bold! Green and Gold 4 life! How about them UAB Blazers!!!!!!!!

  • Congratulations to Graeme McDowell, all of Northern Ireland very proud of him. Shame there wasn't more coverage on Sky news and BBCW for us folks overseas. Can't wait to see him playing in the Ryder cup with Rory, also Northern Irish! It's nice to hear balanced views like those of the boss, he has a chip on both shoulders. Maybe England will stop going on about 1966 about the same time the boss stops going on about the hundreds of years of oppression!!!

  • @den1fen very good comparison,800 years of penal laws, ethnic cleansing, and genocide compared with winning a world cup, you are obviously highly intelligent with no chips on either shoulder, well done

  • by the 'brits' I mean the english, hence the andy murray reference

  • @theboss2432 he Irish when he's not winning but den all of a sudden he's britsh wen he wins. Wdf??!?,

  • @irishpredator22 that's the brits, same with andy murray etc alex higgins also

the classic was richard harris when he won some award, the headline was,'british' actor wins whatever award it was, harris goes on the piss afterwards and gets arrested and the next headline was IRISH ACTOR ARRESTED, LOL

what a shower of cunts, and would they FFS shut the fuck up about 1966,it's enough to make a dog sick

  • @irishpredator22 i'm pretty sure northern ireland is part of britain where he is from... if your not too sure on geography you'll see that flag he and rory macilroy had was the northern ireland flag at the Ryder Cup, anyway you look at it, hes northern irish :) stop clamming our players, we don't try to claim P Harrington or people like Roy Keane haha

  • @irishpredator22 He's Northern Irish, which is part of the UK (Britain & NI). Some just say 'British' to mean 'from the UK', even for those from over the sea, and 'Irish' to mean just those from the Republic.

  • @irishpredator22 i know, it is all the commentators saying the northern irish, scottish and welsh winners are british, but whenever an englishman wins he is english. They english commentators are just jealous because the last time anyone from england won a major was back in 1992, they rely on the "british" players to win, until evetually an englishman wins

  • Not taking away from Mr. McDowell but the real star this Open was Pebble Beach. I LOVE seing the best in the world struggle to shoot par.

  • @ymp5000 I don't appreciate you insulting Tiger Woods like that. And you kind of look stupid because he's not the only one who didn't shoot under par - nobody did! Phil Mickelson and Ernie Els sucked, too.

  • @MrElculver2424 He didn't insult Tiger individually lol. Tiger doesn't deserve much sympathy anyway after his actions of the golf course : P

  • @MrElculver2424 i think he meant best in the world as in the field in general not tiger

  • Mc Dowell is Irish, typical fuckn brits calling him british

  • @theboss2432 I don't hear them calling him British in this video. I hear "Irish" and "European".

  • @MrElculver2424 thats the Americans, them pricks on sky are calling him british, fiest british winner of the us open in 40yrs,fuckn cunts

  • @theboss2432 I still don't understand what you're saying. What do you mean by "on the sky"? You're not making any sense.

  • @MrElculver2424 I mean SKY TV, or BSKYB? are you with me?

congratulations to Graeme, keep the green and gold fying, Saoirse

  • @theboss2432 Yeah, that's what I thought you meant but your sentences and grammar were incorrect and I couldn't understand what you were trying to say.

  • @MrElculver2424 Sky is our equivalent of TIVO. However Sky has it's own tv channels also : P

  • @theboss2432 I think we could say that THE Boss is an ignorant, uneducated Irishman... which is pretty typical for Irishmen...

  • @DrMoorehen I'm not ignorant and I am educated, like most Irish people we have a far higher standard of education and better schools than you brits, the english are producing a nation of chavs who can hardly converse in their own language.

Anyway Graeme mc Dowell is Irish,he plays golf for Ireland,he comes from Ireland, what more can I say?

  • @DrMoorehen nice generalisation there, "typical for Irishmen", such a statement would render you as uneducated in my books

  • @theboss2432 Northern Ireland is officially part of the British Isles you fool

  • @Kaptainrdean thats right I forgot, the six counties are an island over 100 miles away from the rest of Ulster,my mistake

  • @Kaptainrdean Graeme McDowell calls himself an IRISH golfer and he has the right to an IRISH nationality so hahahahaha stupid British glory hunter!!! Just because ENgland hasn't won a major since Faldo !!!

  • @Shaftsus he has a british passport and says he is from northern ireland stop looking at it like a bigot ireland is an island that why he says ireland not because he is from the republic of ireland

  • @Jimper90 I'm a bigot?? Graeme McDowell called himself an IRISH golfer - which any Northern Irish golfer is by definition, I don't care about his choice of nationality he can choose what he wants it's his choice, we wouldn't be having this argument if didn't win a major - glory hunting brits :P. And I never said anything about the Republic of Ireland stop trying to turn this into something else I live and was born in NORTHERN IRELAND anyway you fool!!! :P

  • @Shaftsus it's not a matter of opinion, Northern Ireland is part of Britain. When Paul Lawrie won the open he was a "British" winner, I didn't hear a debate about whether he was a Scottish winner or a British winner. He was both. Just like Mcdowell was a Northern Irish + British winner.

  • @lmd141 McDowell called himself an Irish golfer - that means he is Irish -the USA recognises him as an Irish golfer, English people want to call him a British golfer but that's because it's been so long since you've won a major. By definition he is an Irish golfer - I play ice hockey in Northern Ireland but can't play for team GB - instead I attended trials for Team Ireland which were held in NI lol. It's the rules of sport - Sport and Politics are two very separate things, now fuck off please.

  • @Shaftsus I don't think the rules are based on what country you say you're from, otherwise the immigration board might have a tough job. The fact of the matter is, Northern Ireland is part of great Britain, Greame McDowell is from NI, so he is therefore British. He might call himself Irish because NI's history & culture has more Irish roots than British, but you can't change the law. Rugby & hockey are different because they play as a united Ireland due to them having one association

  • @lmd141 The immigration board does have a tough job considering the amount of illegal immigrants that are getting into the UK. Northern Ireland is not actually a part of GB :P GB consists of Scotland England and Wales. NI is a part of the UK - get it right lol. And I live in Northern Ireland but I have an Irish passport cause your government allowed it lol so yes your government did change the law roflcopterz they also didn't give you a very good education system ur getting things mixed up rofl.

  • @Shaftsus right okay, I apologize, the correct technical term is "the kingdom of great Britain and Northern Ireland". It's kind of splitting hairs tbh, because correct or not the term "British" and "UK" are kind of synonymous. It's a bit like when Americans call "England" "Britain", except it's a bit more subtle. So I suppose the correct term the commentators should of used is "Graeme McDowell, the first winner from the United Kingdom since Paul Lawrie"

  • @lmd141 nah everyone says he's an Irish golfer and that's how he'll be remembered and recognised - go believe what you want I don't really care :D

  • @Shaftsus the Irish will remember him as an Irish golfer, the rest of the world will remember him as a Northern Irish and UK golfer

  • @lmd141 really ??? When I was watching US Open on CBS (American Channel) they all said that he was an Irish golfer when he won it and they were talking about what a great day it was for Irish golf lol If he didn't win it we wouldn't be having this argument. Typical glory hunting English go believe what you will I don't give a shit everyone except English people have no problem recognising him as an Irish golfer roflcopterz you guys are pathetic.

  • @theboss2432 northern ireland is part of the UK, typical american completely ignorant of geography.

  • @theboss2432 He is comfortable being described as both Irish and British. He is an Ulster protestant.

  • @connaught2008 He is half and half. His mother is Catholic and his father is Protestant. And quite frankly who cares what he is? He's an awesome golfer and a great lad and thats all that matters.

  • @theboss2432 He's from Northern Ireland, part of the United Kingdom. Not the Republic of Ireland...

  • Great to see McDowell win it on Father's Day with his dad in the crowd. Meanwhile, once again, we get to see Tiger pout in a post tournament interview while his dad is getting busy in that big Chicken Ranch in the sky!

  • whoo! go norn iron

  • excellent game, brilliant Graeme

  • McDowell, they related 2 Micheal McDowell?

  • @RunerRacerPeniguin5 LOL. No.
