you have to be 18/19. They're at walgreens, rite aid, walmart, etc, and after paying the 4ish $ fee, diff. cards have diff limits, from hundreds to thousandsdollars, but a min. of about 20 dollars. Online transactions can be made, and you can reload them by going back to the store, at least for green dot, and doing the same procedure but instead load it to your card online or by phone

The ones you can get anywhere i prefer walgreens $15 visa (only walgreens has that amount) I like it because you can sign up for anything with it. Ex. Rhapsody free trial, $.99 stuff and like the video says SURVEYS. (just make sure you cancel)

beware of prepaid cards,offers no protection if you never recieve your goods you cant get a refund because you've not got the protection of the consumer credit act.Also if you look at ur t+c's u only have 14 days to report it or u foot the bill.some companies do 28 days thou.Thats waht its like in europe cant see how US is any different.Pre paid cards are set to be an even bigger earner for the banks than cc's.Read your T+C's

Thats in the UK in the usa yes gas stations where you get prepaid cc are a rip off. at a federal credit union or certain banks they have much more secure prepaid cards. they are visa and mastercard insured so this fact you got ripped off means you did not look at the card you got to careful.

well states vary but $1,000 I would talk to someone else at wal mart, thats not right. The best place to get one is NEVER a gas station. Call around to the federal credit unions and banks. Use the phone book to save gas. Key bank around here and our local banks all sell them from 3-5 bucks plus whatever you want on the card.

Then just pay 3-4 bucks for the card and add however much you want. when its used it used. If you have a few cents on it just use it next time you shop for groceries. That way the rest of the money is off the card. Works great for free trials and online rental or blockbuster rentals also.

Wal mart wont in a few states like NY. You can go to keybank,pathfinder bank, most federal credit unions. Call around to local banks and ask if they sell visa or mastercard gift cards. Its the easy way to go for all online stuff.
