I think its irrational to think the world will never end. The questions, "how & when", are important to consider. When the sun burns out? When our galaxy merges with another? Side note: Seeing that this planet would have to exist in the Kuiper Belt where Pluto and all the other dwarf stars lie, it would not be four times the size of the Earth. There is no object that large in the Kuiper Belt and that whole "pole shift" goes against the laws of physics, no object would just fly by the Earth and rewrite it's magnetism, the object would collide. And since there is no single shread of evidence for this giant monster planet then this theory should be thrown away forever.
comet hale-bopp clearly existed and there's clear evidence that comets exist, end of story. However, there is nothing large enough in the solar system that has little gravity influence, if there was a "star" or a "planet" lying in the outer regions of the solar system and it had a mind of it's own and started moving inwards it would get sucked in by the gravitational pull of Jupiter. It would either become a new moon for jupiter or would get destroyed by the immense amount of gravity.

As for Tyche, last I heard it was a hypothesis. The people who wrote the paper on it said they were confidant the data collected by WISE will validate their hypothesis. If you have other information, you'd need to show it.

I think its irrational to think the world will never end. The questions, "how & when", are important to consider. When the sun burns out? When our galaxy merges with another? Even if you prove an increase, even if you show you're not just micro-trending, you need to show scientific evidence of the relationship. This is where 2012ers fall down. The second sun claims, while popular, lack scientific credibility. They purposely and repetitively photo the sun incorrectly, in such a way known to produce errors. Or they photo local atmosphere anomalies and don't check to other regions.

Side note: Seeing that this planet would have to exist in the Kuiper Belt where Pluto and all the other dwarf stars lie, it would not be four times the size of the Earth. There is no object that large in the Kuiper Belt and that whole "pole shift" goes against the laws of physics, no object would just fly by the Earth and rewrite it's magnetism, the object would collide. And since there is no single shread of evidence for this giant monster planet then this theory should be thrown away forever.

comet hale-bopp clearly existed and there's clear evidence that comets exist, end of story. However, there is nothing large enough in the solar system that has little gravity influence, if there was a "star" or a "planet" lying in the outer regions of the solar system and it had a mind of it's own and started moving inwards it would get sucked in by the gravitational pull of Jupiter. It would either become a new moon for jupiter or would get destroyed by the immense amount of gravity.

As for Tyche, last I heard it was a hypothesis. The people who wrote the paper on it said they were confidant the data collected by WISE will validate their hypothesis. If you have other information, you'd need to show it.

In 1992, Myles Standish used the data from Voyager 2 to accurately determine the mass of Neptune. The new value, based on close up observation, was 0.5% less than previously thought, and the perturbances disappeared when the new mass was used in equations.
