Miike Snow does such a fantastic job of incorporating electronic epic-ness into GOOD pop music. So much in that genre sucks right now, so THANK Miike for putting out music that is amazing. This entire album is gold, check it if you haven't already.

@MiikeSnow213J at 6:40 the guy on the left is hitting an item called a 'Sample Pad' with a drum stick. Essentially its a portable digital drum-kit that you can program different digital sounds to play depending on where you hit the pad. Korg have a few different models and they're very fun to play

I love this song, I listen to it every single day since the album came out, but tonight when I heard this version I got high. It is the first time in my 25 years old life when I was crying beacause of the song. The part from 5:15 till the end is GENIOUS! God bless people like you. Amen.

seriously am I the only person who thinks this guy's voice is really bad and unprofessional? I mean all the band is perfect and incredible but his voice is just weak, out of tune and painful to human ears. And I really love the album, this is my favorite song and live it's even better, if it were not for his god-awful vocal performance.

@Equi3v i partially agree with u. i wouldn't say unprofessional, but sometimes it's kinda unpleasant. i love the band, their album is amazing and i usually put this aside, but his voice can get really annoying (as in their cover for "In for the kill, in the end it's just a creepy mess).
If you dig Miike Snow, you should check out a band called 'Dead Wildlife'... Kinda similar. Just google them or look at my channel, I filmed some stuff for them.

your right. No they don't suck as musicians... but it's just nothing new.... those effects that he "programmed" on there are simple one note with a ton of effects.... and personly I prefer changing melodies with emotion that someone took time to put the feeling into... and not....just press a button. I am being too harsh. It's not that bad... but if you've heard them live his voice... is not the same without effects. And, yes you can constuct a great song with 3 three chords...

The drummer is part of the group 'Little Majorette' and the other guy in that group plays with Miike Snow too, but they arn't part of Miike Snow .

@killingmannequin Weirdly enough a while ago I noticed that with all the songs on the album. It reckoned I'd listen to it all over 1500 times... Which I think works out to be about 50days solid of listening... Could have been actually, it is pretty good after all!

your right. No they don't suck as musicians... but it's just nothing new.... those effects that he "programmed" on there are simple one note with a ton of effects.... and personly I prefer changing melodies with emotion that someone took time to put the feeling into... and not....just press a button. I am being too harsh. It's not that bad... but if you've heard them live his voice... is not the same without effects. And, yes you can constuct a great song with 3 three chords...

@boywithamonkey23 the VAST majority of music in the mainstream has doctored voices. This, as you said, has effects. That isn't the same as doctoring the tones of a person's voice.
