Bill, Great videos…..I live in Pennsylvania and i use a whilte's Prism 6T. I love the detector but i need to try to find older places to go detecting. Could you please give me some ideas on how to locate great places to go?. Thank you very much.
Nice coins guys.....Gees save me some. I live in New Hampshire and love digging the old stuff, check out my 2010 video finds on youtube. Now we just got to wait for all the snow to melt.
Never went out metal detecting jet , actually it's been allready too long since I'm planning to start, so here I am cheking the tube for vids like yours to have a better idea of how md's work.
Loved the enthusiasm and the spirit, not to mention the very nice finds, exactely what I was looking for to make up my mind : )
let eddyphant figure it out for himself, like we all do .some people want it given to them.heck, they can go to the store and buy it.i've seen alot of your clips and you are awesome.i live in dixie and our hunting(as you very well know) is a lot different than yours.you produce some great entertainment.keep it up.
BiLl! The Video Cip was described as T2 depth tips.
Where were they ? The only setting you gave was zero discrim. Was that it ??? You guys are really going to have to learn to GIVE YOUR SETTINGS First ,then do the Clip. Tips ! ??????????????????? Still waiting to hear them. LoL
I love your rude demands pal- We don't get paid to do these video's- You know how much work is involved?? For what? To meet specific personal expectations like yours all in CAPS like your yelling at me?? This ain't billed as a training video & 99% of people want to see the finds- not a complete settings rundown. Learn to ask in a nicer fashion- you might get somewhere.......
@eddyphant Come on man really! I have a good tip for you, FIGURE IT OUT BY YOUR SELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope some day you trip in a hole you dug and breake your leg. Did they say we have video full of tips for you know they didn't so i guess if "all they said was zero discrim" then there you go thats your fucking tip. did you watch the video? tip one was look for an old rock quarry, tip 2 no discrim, tip 3 was swing your coil. never ask me for a tip i'll tell you to jump into traffic
EXACTLY Cliff! The major "Tip" is that zero disc puts the T2 into a "boost" mode for depth & that the other settings don't matter. But that guys too stupid to figure that out & wants to be held by the hand walked & through detector operation like I'm a damn talking manual. Maybe he can't read? 4000 views & he's the first complaint....what's that tell ya??
@SHNewEngland Thanks for the tip on the zero discrimination i will be getting my T2 on tuesday or wen of 2nd or 3rd of feb 2011 damn winter storm in new york got it held up in shipping lol anyways so if i you can hand me any pointers to the T2 i am all ears brother it will be my first metal detector so i hope i made the right choice on my picking it i only paid 630.00 bucks brand new with warrantee i was told this was a good price i hope so lol anyways i will be looking to hear from ya thanks
I find myself watching this video over and over this is very awesome. If I wanted to start what kind of detecter would you say would be good to start with? Thanks for posting
I know, I was joking with ya. I have hunted in the UK twice & you guys really are spoiled with that history & huge fields.....Yes, the T2 is my favorite detector....the 14khz should be great on gold coins for you.....Dig deep mate.
Didn't you pay attention in school to know that US history here began in 1620?? So, that means, yes, a 1700's Georgian copper is a great find on our soil since it's a piece of Colonial history before we whipped your butt in the Rev War & started making our own coins:) Sure, it would be great to dig Celt, Roman & hammerds (would make a great video).....but we just don't have that history unfortunately.....
Bill, All your video's are awesome!!!Thanks for sharing. For a beginner like myself what type of detector would be a good one. I do not own one presently. I have a piece of property that once had a mill on it. I can't wait to start finding artifacts metal ,glass etc.. around the brook and old stone walls. Any advice would be great. Your dvd's look like a must have. Thanks ,peter
One of the neatest videos i've seen so far on here... I live in PA and am trying to detect an old cellar hole I found on my property. Never done that kind of detecting though so not sure how to go about it. HH!!!

Thanks for the kind words-
Cellars usually have lots of square nails around 'em. Just do the best you can- many of the finds you saw we made away from the foundation...
SHNewEngland 2 years ago
Go over that site with a PI detector or a 2 box you will find a lot more.

alot more deep nails maybe.........
I have both- maybe someday.
