  • @rpgfan72 That's not 9th wonder that beat was made by Illmind.

  • @RazorReg oh yeah thats right I don't know what the heck I was thinkin' bout...

  • Beat:one of the best chopped vocals i ever heard (pROBS TO illmind)

Lyrics:you dont want beef cause they will run in your crib and bounce with the meter still runnin (Real shit)

  • How do I find mp3iffy to download this song? I was told to google mp3iffy.

  • he's a lover he's a runner

  • He's Got To RRUNNN!!

  • the freshest thing about illmind's beats is he always users drums that fit the sample. these drums would probably sound wack by themselves, but they work nice with the sample...you don't hear him using the same old signature drums...

  • the sample should have played longer

  • wait a min! why is this song cut in half????

  • woman! get away while you...woah woooaahh

  • that's fuckin' fresh.

  • LB samples are so fresh

  • Change is inevitabvle brah! - and the replacement producer aint 9 th wonder but still keepin that sweet soulful Justice League in intune and intact - no wonder so many thought your comment sucked Ass - cause it does infact - suck Ass - LB Wont stop cant stop (Get the song brah)

  • I love some LB & I even love illmind, Phonte & Big Pooh they have made classics but LB is not LB without 9th wonder .. I dont give a shit what Phonte, you or anybody says. Thats like The Temptations with out David Ruffin .. Phonte & Pooh sound great with other producers. but look... now Phonte & Pooh aren't even making songs. its been a downslope since the 9th wonder split .. BRAH!

  • jcarter i hear you man i love foreign exchange and shit like that but nothing compares to LB with 9th

  • the bass at 0.47 reminds me of Jaylibs The Official.

  • @sixthsense3 yea i kno what u mean, tht base line

  • Dude! My face is over here in knots....how the hell did I miss this one! Most underrated, most slept on group in the biz....next to SFP of course! Feels like Hip Hop again!!

  • Chittlin curcuit BITCH! U Black Ni#@ERS Network! DAmn this take me back! Keep doin yall thang. Phonte u funny as hell dawg on the skits. Percy Miracles for president. Justice league fo life. Pasadena, Ca 91104- the 626! Bitch

  • whats the title of this fifth dimension track?

  • "he's a runner" i believe

  • man this is the joint. they should have mixed this with the track. :rain maker"

  • Yea I remember this joint was on the Chitlin Circuit LP....it was the last track on the album...Bangin' track from Little Brother & Keisha Shontelle

  • is this keisha shontelle?

  • no but she can sing! this is Yazarah

  • damn this record is a dollar bin classic. all 5th dimension is. drum break on here too i think

  • yo i have this record wtf!!!

  • I know how that feels. LOL!

  • humble beat

  • yeah

  • love it

  • He's got too runnnnnnnnnnn

  • its The Beginning by Little Brother if you didn't know.... sample is he's a runner by 5th dimension

  • whats the actual name of this song?

  • He's a runner - Laura Nyro. She has a very beautiful voice. Kanye West actually samples a song by her called "Save the country" in "The Glory" off of Gradution.

  • yeah but i wanted to know the name of this song which i know now is called 'the beginning' but thanks anyway

  • Uhhhh sorry guys but you are wrong. Yeah Laura Nyro wrote it, but that is Florence LaRue of the 5th Dimension singing lead on this sample

  • OMG thank you so much for telling me that. I've been searching everywhere for Laura Nyro's version that sounded like this one lol. I feel so stupid now. And it makes sense now because when Laura Nyro joined 5th Dimension she didn't sing her own songs. Thanks so much

  • That doesn't make you stupid! I know who's singing the song because I was a big 5th Dimension fan as a kid. The song is on the 5th Dimension's "Loves Lines Angles and Rhymes" which is the album cover above

  • so dope

  • Wow! like most of ya ive been wondering what illmind sampled...what a great find...this is one of the happiest days of my life :p ...the beat is chopped sooo incredible!

  • i wish they woulda kept this sample on there

  • Why can't I hear this on the radio instead of a soulja boy song?

    Long Live LB

  • i kno!!!!!!!!!!!!! radio hip hop is wack!

  • indeed, there should be one station sending real underground classics round the whole globe

  • at least one

    why cant they?

  • because theres underground and then theres mainstream. if underground were popularized as much as mainstream it wouldnt be underground anymore. i just refuse to listen to tthe radio and play this off my ipod.

  • plus its also physically impossible to put all underground on radio and mainstream at the same time..mainstream=bull shit hip hop, the underground=REAL SHIT!! I DON'T like mainstream but when you work for radio you get to understand that its all business..they make tracks to sell and be played in clubs, parties..people arent gonna dance to little brother at clubs.

  • also used for the beginning of group home's supa star

  • Illmind is NUTS!

  • WOW....I dl'ed a leak album a few months before it dropped back in early '05. I'm just finding out now that LB changed the last 8 tracks including this track. That's what I get for not buying the album.

  • nah man... chitlin circuit was released to help build buzz for the minstrel show. when the release of the minstrel show was delayed further, LB put out a pseudo-updated version of chitlin circuit to keep the fans happy called chitlin circuit 1.5 that had several new tracks on top of the original, including this one.

  • Yup, I realized after I wrote my comment that what I have is the Chitlin' Circuit Mixtape. It had some remixes, bootlegs, and b-sides from "The Listening" on it. I guess this came out before the CS 1.5 album.

  • yo this happens to be my favorite illmind beat...i was wondering for 3 years where he had the sample from ....such a good job of choppin it classic

  • STOP SAMPLE SNITCHING..LOL

  • WHERE IS THE INSTRUMENTAL!?!?!?

  • this is so good. illmind got that soul!

  • yo sware to god the beginning is the best song on that album...the way illmind chopped that yo illmind is seriously better than 9th ..no disrespect illmind is way more detailed and has much better drums...no lie illmind all day

  • Little Brother!The Chittlin Circuit 1.5!

  • Illmind one of my fav producer

  • ive been trying to find that sample for almost a year since i first heard the beginning of that chitlin circuit album gooooooodddddd looooookkkkkkk

  • this beat is so crazy,

    i love this shit man...

    hip hop lives 4eva

  • This beat is absolutely bananas.

  • Illmind is fierce!!!!!!!

  • What Little Brother CD is that track from?

  • The Chittlin' Circuit 1.5

  • nice ONE

  • that is crazy, is the 5th dimension track called 'he's a runner'
