@koolguy343 I wouldn't recommend those. I had one for $300, but it wasn't capable of playing Cajun.  It sounded different, didn't have enough air, and kept leaking. A good one is worth it, but you won't learn too much on an ariette. IMO

well i have one and its what i play on for now until i become as good as my grandpaw or whom ever. and it does sound different but, none the less its all about getting the technique down, not the sound.

No the main standards is C, but it isn't uncommon to see a D. For zydeco Bb is popular

I like the sound, we have an old Hohner, don't know what key it's in, and it's in need of some repair, but it sounds nice too, nothing like the old diatonics for sound
