  • whats the name of this song?

  • I'd like to buy one but nobody can suggest a good starter for under $500 and a source.

  • hohner ariette

  • @koolguy343 I wouldn't recommend those. I had one for $300, but it wasn't capable of playing Cajun. It sounded different, didn't have enough air, and kept leaking. A good one is worth it, but you won't learn too much on an ariette. IMO

  • well i have one and its what i play on for now until i become as good as my grandpaw or whom ever. and it does sound different but, none the less its all about getting the technique down, not the sound.

  • Great *****

I play also a single row accordion

    But with a alternative tuning

    Greetings

    Kniri

  • This was a great sound you provided and wonderful Cajun music. You play extreemly well. Thanks for the post I can tell you love that little box. Well done 5/5*****

    Ron in CAnada!

  • Is this ritchet tuned, like a harmonica in D? That's something that's been confusing me about these cajun accordions...

  • That's one toy I wouldn't mind having: I'd give anything to learn how to play the Cajun Accordion! FIVE stars; great job!

  • Im more of a zydeco guy but i like this good job guy!!!!!

  • I like the low end draw sound, what make?

  • Nice playing! Is that standard Cajun tuning on this instrument?

  • No the main standards is C, but it isn't uncommon to see a D. For zydeco Bb is popular

  • How Much was that?

  • What Song is this?

  • This song is the Ossun Two Step.

  • nice sounding accordion! I want one too :(

  • wow i love that sort of music on the accordian :)

  • I know you know more songs, post more videos..

  • Great player, I like the style and sound.

  • sound great!

  • This is not spam at all, thibodeauxba has several very good accordion lessons posted. They are well worth checking out, and I have found them very useful (especially Eunice Two-Step, merci 'neg!)

  • Wow, very very cool playing! Thanks for posting it!

  • I like the sound, we have an old Hohner, don't know what key it's in, and it's in need of some repair, but it sounds nice too, nothing like the old diatonics for sound

  • Can you please tell us who makes this model?

  • Marc Savoy. Google the Savoy Music Center and you'll find him. They're gettin' pricey...

  • Looks like a melodeon. Sounds great! Hec.

  • how much did you pay for that thing i want one

  • Man I can't get enough your playin dude. I want that A box!

Oh yeah OCCAJUN.... That is definately him playing, I've seen him play and he's a master!

  • Not so great. As you didn't play a single note of this song yourself

  • Actually, I did play this song myself. The video function on my camera created this odd delay, for whatever reason. This is a common glitch on youtube.

  • @beaudoing you should take that as a compliment.. hehe.. that means you play so well, he thought it wasn't you!

  • Can't beat four reeds! Nice fat sound.

  • Is this the Red Pine box?

  • Yessir. I should post another video of it. This one is a bit dark. Hopefully, I'll be using it tonight...

  • nice sounding accordion....I want one too....

  • Damn! I don't want to play concertina anymore!

  • I agree with JanesCalamity. NOTHING can beat an accordion like yours...

  • great toy indeed ! merci pour la belle musique .

  • That was great! I love that chunky cajun sound. I play the piano accordion but have never gotten my hands on a cajun box...they sound so cool. More! More!
