I think the whole NG/AR vs RA came from the Cold war days when there was no need to activate the NG/AR for years on end. The RA (Regular Army) was always on duty and handled deployments on their own, while the NG/AR were weekend warriors. Today this has all changed with back to back deployments for RA as well as the NG/AR. You cannot really tell the differance between the various services anymore from what I see. (22 years Active Army btw) The video was kind of cool though!

There is a rivalry between all branches in the military, and all sub-branches. Unless it's taken personally, who cares.
