I have watched Smallville for 10 seasons. This particular episode was really

good. The shows do have a budget. If you own the DVD's they will explain

reasons they had for doing things. It is always about the money the networks

will allow them. It is amazing what they go through just to get this show to be

produced each week. The special effects look good and not cheesy. It is so

believable that I wonder why it never got more popular. Guess I am a FAN!

Zod didn't destroy Krypton. Zod was the only one who listened to Jor-El. He rebelled against the kryptonian government who was ignoring Jor-El's theories about planetary destruction. Jor-El ended up being Zod's jailer in the Phantom Zone due to his peaceful ways. Zod held this against him and sworn him a mortal enemy. That's why he wanted Kal-El (Jor-El's son) to "kneel" before him.

I hate how these shows change storylines for no reason. The original comic story was SO much better.

It took an entire season (#9) for clark to put zod in his place. But here (season #6), zod sorts clark out in under 3 minutes. Fucking epic. It just goes to show, age has some advantages over youth.
