Yeah, because that's how societies should operate *rolleyes*
It's better to confront the problems of society than running away from it. In addition, if our problem isn't because so and so country is run one way, but is because almost every country in the world employs the same socio-economic structure. We have no where to run to, so we must change things. I'm sure there has been things which has pissed you off in the past, why didn't you move?
1) I wonder why people gave my previous comment 2 thumbs down? Do they really want to suppress my polite and very relavent questions? WTF??? So much for open mindedness.
2) Of course it doesn't belong to any individual, which is all the more reason you should've acquired permission from a majority of the community. Doesn't that make common sense? Isn't that respectful of communal property?
I don't want to speak for him but I think The reason he was doing it is because he doesn't want to be part of the community but has no choice in the matter.
The government doesn't want you tilling the land for anything except what they say you can till it for -- even if it's to feed others. Truly messed up. I just viewed the arrest on gloriouscoconut's channel. I can't say that I'm surprised that they did it.

If he's converting a community square to a garden, did he get the community's permission to do so? Was there a vote?

No. I didn't, nor was there a vote. But then, I didn't need to do these things-- it's not really any one persons property..
