I've never heard of people plucking cannabis and smoking it straight. Anyway, look up 'drug' somewhere, it might help you. Now I'm not sure if marijuana is classified as a drug because I've heard you can't get addicted to it, but the natural/man made definition of a drug doesn't make sense.

@saviozz22 the only process that goes into weed is plucking the buds off of the plant. But that's pretty much it. For the most part its straight from the ground and into the joint. It's like any other plant harvested by man. Whether it should be called a drug doesn't even matter, what DOES matter is that weed itself is so deviated and demonized for fucking nothing other than to distract the public for reasons the character cap will not let me explain.
So can we all just SHUT UP and LISTEN?!

@saviozz22 Sigh...again you didn't do your research. Yes, my main point is that marijuana shouldn't be considered a drug by societies definitions of drugs. And yes it is all natural (unless you have a dealer who slips random shit in it). Thus said, after the plant is grown and ready to harvest the only other thing it goes through is drying and curing. The drying stage is exactly what it says, it dries it out. Curing places it in a sealed bag, and the process is done.

@Megosaurus23 opium is a natural drug a lot of the problems began with the synthesis of active ingriedients ...morphine was lauded as cure for opium addiction ..and heroin as a cure for morphine addiction ..theres no point in trying to differentiate between natural and synthetic...lsd is synthesised yet we have receptor sites in the brain..?same for delta nine..a mistake many make is to think the drug fuels the hit..not so its the human brain.lsd is out the system in 20 mins

@assinomen Well since I'm a medical major you're not telling me anything I don't already know. But you're wrong. The drug doesn't fuel the hit but our brains don't fuel the hit either. The chemicals in both our brains and the drug react and create a unique feeling/side effects for everyone. I do appreciate you taking your time out to type all this and try and educate people on not being a drug snob. However, I never said I was against the drugs I was referring to.

@assinomen I understand how it effects our mind, well I guess I can't say that because no one is absolutely certain on how drugs effect our brains. I guess what I mean to say is that I understand chemical reactions and what its supposed to do...I've read The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde but the other 2 I will most certainly read in the near future. @assinomen those are the most common four elements found in all organic life, it is purely a consequence of them being derived from plants. and the plants evolved those substances which would interact with herbivores in ways that would benefit the plant, but since we gain benefit from them we cultivate them and so it helps us as well. it is win win for everyone (unless you can't handle your drugs)

@assinomen well, don't assume that you are on the right track with the idea of plant intelligence. terrence mckenna's hypothesis could not be substantiated because he could not provide an evolutionary mechanism whereby the drugs affected our genetics, which is what would be necessary for brain enlargement. I believe there is new knowledge of epigenomes which can be effected by external agents so if you are researching stuff like human plant symbiosis you could look into that.

Personally I enjoyed Sabbath a ton before I smoked weed, but I will admit that smoking weed and listening to music, especially Sabbath, does give you a new perspective and feeling that you've never felt before.
