if you have a soft-modded XBOX, find and download "XBMC Auto-Installer Deluxe" from the usual sources. follow the instructions in the download for burning it to a DVD-R, then drop it into your soft-modded XBOX and run it. Surreal64 is on there, along with tons of other emus.

Action replay's aren't that hard to find, actually. It's a common misconception that you need Action Replax Max, but really all you need is the standard AR. It can be found on Amazon for around $30. Pretty cheap if you ask me, and much less risk of hurting your XBOX with a possibly unsuccessful modchip install.

CD-Rs will not run on the Xbox.. I mean very rarely...but I assure you this emulator fully completed is around 4 gigz, so good luck fitting anything on a CD-R...even the SNES emulator needs a DVD-R. Good luck brother! HACK THE PLANET!

I FTP'd it instead, but the emulators are very small files, only if you're trying to put the emulator and every rom ever dumped is it several gigabytes.

You must change the "surreal.ini".

open up surreal.ini with note pad (right click) and where it says surreal/rom/E change to D.

surreal/rom/D - this will then boot off CD. Hope this helps.

You have to change "surreal.ini" oPEN IT UP ON NOTEPAD AND CHANGE THE DRIVE LETTERS FOR ROMS AND SAVES TO E: OR D: depending on what drive its on.

When you look at your surreal files you will notice one called "surreal.ini" it should be near the bottom on your pc. Right click and open with notepad. It will come up with lots of writing. where it say roms/surreal/E: change to F: if the emulator is on that partition. Or stay with E: if its on the E: drive. Hope this helps.

Ftp to you Xbox and go to surreal emulator. At the bottom there is a file named "surreal.ini" right click and open in note pad. You will have this "[Settings]

Rom Path=F:\Emulators\Surreal64\Ro­ms\

Media Path=F:\Emulators\Surreal64\Me­dia\.

Depending what drive your emulator is on change the F to E. save then ftp back to your xbox.

Golden Eye is not very good on this emulator.

You have to remeber that this emulator is just above par and so only a few games will work well enough to keep. Golden Eye is better left for PC emulation.
