@weelollycupcake this is just for show but they are making a park called restless planet and the dinosaurs looks real and act real they move wlak shout and everything like a dinosaur they have restling dinosaurs and you can enter a train that shows you the dinosaurs moving and its gonna be amazing

The people who designed the animatronics for Restless Planet should make a deal with Universal Studios Dubai to make dinosaurs for Jurassic Park: The Ride since the previous ride incarnations don't really have lifelike dinosaurs.

Actually, when you see one of these in real they look a lot more realistic than they do in these videos except for two things. One, they can't walk and two, they are usually just put in a room or a display with a totally unrealistic environment. Try getting a T-rex to stand still for you in a museum room.

Eh, it still looks just like an animatron to me- the movement is too jerky still for it to be realistic. I know there is a lot of work that goes into a robot like this, but I think there needs to be a little more work done for it to be completely realistic

I really hope there are dinasours roaming free outdoors in fenced off areas, kind of like jurassic park where you take a ride and just get too see them.. part thrill part education, make the whole thing really well planned and entertaining.

If they are all standing still that will be frustrating and boring.

Very realistic. No jerky movements, all looked very natural. I read on wikipedia the restless planet park is open/very nearly open

If you compare this to the ones on the JP ride at Universal, the movements on this animatronic are much more realistic. Same thing with that video of the one at the Toys R Us in Times Square. Someone else posted about the energy and amount of people to keep Dubai economically viable... at this point, I believe than anything can happen in Dubai, and I wouldn't be surprised if they not only get these robot dinosaurs to walk, but also come up with the first limitless, clean, fusion reactor...
