I saw Bonnie about 3 years ago in Salt Lake City at the Red Butte Garden venue. Leo Kottke played before her...was an amazing performance...she's a little fireball !! Almost the whole audience were Baby Boomers...was fun to see Leo sporting a nearly bald head after seeing him have hair down past his knees back in the day. Was a concert to remember!
@freddiemesquit1 You must be young...lol it a old saying about lose girls...if she had as many ***** sticking out of her as she has had stuck in her she'd look like a porcupine!
I haven't seen Bonnie lately, but man, back in the day, she was one fine ass woman. Just plain sexy. And a bad ass guitarist too. Great video....I remember watching it years ago.
Great song, great sound. Can someone help me. l have an old video clip of Bonnie singing at an other Farm Aid gig many years ago and l can't find the song to buy on CD. Not sure of the year but the opening line is ' Any old Time' Bonnie is wearing a redish trouser suit and has shorter hair. If any one can give me info about this song l would be very pleased. Thanks

I loved this from the moment I first heard it - uh...years ago, Nick of Time, but until I saw this I never knew BR had serious guitar chops. Stupid me. And doncha just love how she reveals that she ain't no Queen of Sheba. Take off your kid gloves...
John Hiatt has to be one of America's most under-appreciated song writers...that's no diss...why isn't he murderously wealthy - oh, maybe he is but he sure don't write like it. Took me years to find his version of The Most Unoriginal Sin.
Thing called love is for me not to work on a real life friendship or something more on youtube to work something out,it''s only for me spend some time and learn something languages and what know something mean and look to good music to easy to find and sometime whit a nice created video instead to look for,but not always.
Anyone into this should check her bassplayer "freebo's" music, "before the seperation" "dog people" and "the end of the beggining" check on itunes or cd-baby.
Get Billy Hector's CD "Traveler." Suzan Lastovica sings "Wild Heart" to Billy's slide guitar work, and that song is both beautiful and Beatlesesque. Worth the price of the CD for that song alone. BTW, Billy opened for Bonnie Rait at the R&R hall of fame, and she loved his guitar work.
LITTLE FEAT rock! See you down at the Spanish Moon....
Personally I'm glad she sings like Bonnie because I like her better than I do Taylor Swift. It's typical that you have to look like society says. Bonnie is the Queen and there would be no Taylor without Bonnie. Rock on Bonnie.
In October 2009, Obama signed a presidential memo eliminating a tariff on Israel that protected American dairy farmers and which raised money for the American economy!
IT AIN'T LOVE for US when one of the richest nations on earth- a nation that consistently flouts US laws and policies in violation of US trade agreements blocking American products entirely from being imported into Israel screws US Dairy Farmers!
Public Service message from a RED little sister who is:
Bonnie learned her chops as a backup singer at Lowell George's Little Feat, God rest his soul. The Gov't Mule cover of Spanish Moon is great! Check it out on Grooveshark!
ok, I get it. You're a big John Haitt fan. Still, no need to be snippy. Also, not true about the biggest song of her career thing. Read up. She's pretty f&#king awesome all by herself.
Oh, please. She does this as the second song in her set these days. It's an obligatory throwaway, and it definitely wasn't the song the crowd liked best - that would be "Something to Talk About.." Bonnie's had much bigger hits, if that's how you judge a person's career. Don't misunderstand. I like this song a good bit, but your comment is simply ignorant.
Talented gal....Saw her dad, John Raitt, in 1951....traveling musical "Oklahoma". Got his autograph.... He was a talented man... Love that red hair on Bonnie....she exudes energy.
saw her at Center Stage in ATL a few years ago, and we had front row seats. It was a better view than I had the first time I saw her, nosebleed seats in Raleigh NC. Both shows, however, were great

Love the way JH found a rhyme for "Queen of Sheba".
Listen for the ghosts of Lowell George, Mississippi Fred Macdowell, and Jesse Ed Davis.

GET MORE CREDIT FOR THEIR APPEARANCE THAN THEIR ABILITIES.
