How are republicans crazy when demo-rats support a president that wants to take away more rights from us citizens than any other president in history? The same guy that has time and again shown a socialist mindset. Limiting government programs, controlling private industry, raising taxes while doing nothing on a declining economy and rising unemployment rate. NObama 2012.
this guy's a retard. states rights refer things that aren't mentioned in the constitution.
the 2nd amendment like the 1st amendment is a COUNTRY WIDE right. no one can deny them. if the feds deny it then it's up to the states to nullify any anti-gun legislation and vis versa.
it's like one state saying u can't protest in public. you can't equate it with a state right such as housing regulations DUFUS!!
Sorry, but gun policies are one of the few things on the republican side that I agree with. Still, doesn't excuse the republicans for the states' rights hypocrisy, but calling a proposed law that would give law abiding citizens more flexibility on how to protect themselves crazy is crazy itself.
@Krogoth04 You have very good reasoning and seem very sensible, but I do not agree with gun laws. while you may feel protected there are a number of things that can go wrong:
1. Not every american is a rational thinker; people will use guns when they are angry.
2. If you shoot and miss that leads to the possibility of a stray bullet.
3.If both people have guns someone, or both people will try to shoot each other to rid of the threat.
1. Not every american is a rational person, but the vast majority are. Also, basic background checks already help limit ownership by potentially dangerous people.
2. This is why people who carry are encouraged to practice with their firearms at gun ranges as often as possible, plus consider that most cases where a gun is used seem to involve close quarters(mugging, home invasion, store robbery).
3. Again, most people are rational and know that a gun is an absolute last resort.

Turk is bat shit stupid on this subject. Does Turk know how many people are carrying illegally in NY? My stupid cunt sister n law hates guns and said Im not allowed to have my gun on me in their house or around them. ( I dont go to the house anymore) So when the family went out to eat , I stood up at the table and ask the manager if he could go table to table and ask if anyone might have a gun to leave because my sister n law doesn't like guns. The dumb cunt still didnt get it?
Let me get this straight. Our right to walk through Central Park is being violated by a minority of criminals. Are you implying that the Govt. cant protect me should I decide to exercise my right to walk through Central Park? Is there now a "Super-Class" that only have access to the park at night? Why not just enact a "ban" on law abiding citizens from entering the park at night. That would solve the Central Park crime issue. No? I carry a gun because a 200 pound Cop is to heavy & inconvenient.
@tyt Hey fuck head... the right to keep and bere arms is cealed and promised by the 2nd A of the bill of rights in the constitution. Gay mairrage is not. One is a legal issue, the other is a moral issue. I see no hypocrasy here. Only a fucken idiot bent on attacking the rights of free people to defend themselves against all enemies, foriegn and domestic. The constitution usurps state law, thus why its so minnimal in nature. Read a book morron instead of watching MSNBC to get your ideas.
@Kellett781 Respectfully. This has nothing to do with individual morals or violation of the 2ndA. It has everything to do with the"states right to govern themselves". In this case your supporting taking away the states individual rights, the 10thA, while your actually believing your standing up for the 2ndA. Thats hypocrisy. Attacking and/or taking away state rights harms the union and helps lead to one government run state. By your statements, I’m sure you’re not a fan of communism either.
@joedanero Well said Joe! Let me however reafirm the bill of rights wherein the 2ndA lies. The bill of rights are REQUIRED by ALL of the states. Anything beyond the bill of rights and the constitution of which the bill of rights is a part of, falls intot he domain of the 10thA. This is how states can controll guns as they wish, but they can not legaly deny them completely. Look into it; ANY fed reg of the bill of rights is technicaly unconstitutional. It violates the 10thA.
@Kellett781 I agree it would simplify things for responsible owners if all states had to respect each others laws as the individual policies are too convoluted. It would be a huge convenience to not have to worry about what state I'm taking my handgun through. However, States are governed by their people (I still have faith in the system:)),each community is able to adopt gun policy based on what the people see fit. AB144 goes overboard by denying good citizens the 2nd...in public!! its a joke.
The liberals love it when they shove their california progressive laws upon states like NM but they dont like it when CA has to follow the laws of the conservative states. The problem is that CA is already violating the 2nd amendment, especially with the AB144 being passed. It is a horribly bad comparison to compare a constitutionally guaranteed right to carry a gun, to that of gay marriage, or the drug laws. Indead, CA is the rare state to ban guns, or nearly restrict them completely outof use
@jacobew2000 I agree. Things like AB 144 is when the federal governtment should intervene to protect our rights. I'm sure they will just as they did with the Marijuana distributer busts they were doing. The question is how when. This AB 144 is when we all should get pissed. Its the state telling you, that you cant have a handgun. They look at it like, "Well, we can already tell you, you cannot own a machine gun"!!
The UK has a high knife murder rate, daily! Are they going to ban knifes too? Are chefs going to be allowed to "carry" from now on? YOu fucking pacifists are idiots, jeez!
so ironic how in the intro there's the american flag. stop fucking representing America with your liberal ideology. This country is going to hell real fast because of people like you...
YOU FUCKING ANTI-GUN LIBERAL. FUCK YOU! YOU WANT MY ASSAULT WEAPONS, HUH? COME AND THEM THEM FUCKERS. LIKE A GREAT MAN ONCE SAID, FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS! SUPPORT THE SECOND AMENDMENT AND EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS. BEARING ARMS IN THE ONLY REASON WHY WE LIVE IN A FREE COUNTRY. FUCK THE YOUNG TURKS. THOSE LIBERAL FUCKS!!!! I HOPE TYT DIE OF THE EBOLA VIRUS AND SUFFER HORRIBLE PAIN. WORST THAN JESUS DID AT THE HANDS OF THE ROMAN SOLDIERS!!! FUCK THEM. GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE USA!
@DEVILDOG91754 After wishing the most horrible things on other people that don't agree with you, I'd be very afraid of a person like you owning firearms. It's people like you that cause stricter gun regulations.
Also if everyone had a gun in central park it would be a safer place. What's the number one deterrent for someone to shoot someone? It is someone that can shoot back.
These young turks are wrong on everything; what's their point? To come out and flimsily defend liberal positions and hope that a few people will somehow dumb down & just believe them? It's so amusing to see them express their opinions so badly all the time. They should call themselves, "Young & Naive Turks'
I use to be against guns in hands of public as I have always been concerned that someone w/road rage or nervous fingers would shoot someone. That still concerns me,but in the end, it does seem that if everyone had a gun, everyone would think twice about using one in the 1st place. If thugs on the street thought that more people had guns in the streets, they would think twice before trying to mug someone. So in the end, I've changed my mind; I'm in favor of guns. Crooks use guns no matter the law
Since you republicans take away freedom of speech from Democrats, you have all been reported, and you will shut up or pay the price. If you are Democrat, you can speak.
Once again TYT proves how stupid and hypocrite as he is the law the Reps were trying to pass was the right to carry a firearms. The legislation was not forcing states to allow people to have conceal permits, just that states should have the option for the people.
god i hate the young turds...you liberal pussy, I hope the next guy that breaks into your dirt hut smokes your ass. Just so you know, here is America, we actually are armed and carry bibles..you don't like it? leave...you don't like that we don't marry homos? go back to where you came from...am I a bigot and racist? Not sure...I know that I'm an American with a long line of family members that have served. By the way, the 2nd amendment is for americans...which you don't understand bitch.
Hey jackass. I am a liberal Democrat who believes that even my permit is an infringement on my second amendment rights. I am also gay. So stop assuming that everyone who supports second amendment rights is an stupid piece of crap like you. And I agree, that Cenk should go back to Turkey. Now, go fuck yourself.
@Americcan So you're a liberal and you're gay? ok, cool. Don't get your G string in a bunch sweetie. If you like penis who am I to judge? However, why do I have to go fuck myself, please tell me? Is it because I said here in the USA, the majority people don't want gays to marry? Also, I totally support the 2nd Amendment and nowhere in my post did I suggest anyone is "a stupid piece of crap." I think you and Bruce need to spoon or hug it out for a minute and you'll feel better.
Actually the current situation is that nearly all states honor eachother's ccw licences. Texas has a rule there's two levels of certification so you probably can only carry a revolver into Texas with another state's ccw licence. Oregon has a standard ccw licence procedure but doesn't honor other states. The ccw has nothing at all to do with hunting. The NRA is on a roll, Cenk, and the crime statistics are increasingly proving that ccw is a good idea. Criminals ignore gun laws, get it?
people in this country are so damned paranoid with all this gun worship. why dont you OBJECTIVELY investigate some gun crime statistic and you will be far less afraid of going outside without thinking you have to be armed and dangerous. i have never been afraid to go outside and do anything i want to do anyplace i have lived in the united states. geez. bunch of pansies
The only thing you need to read here is the Constitution. The right to keep and bear arms is equal to your right to free speech. It is not conditional on your opinion of necessity. And BTW, I was indeed threatened with violence last week, and the man who threatened me kept his distance because I had my hand in my pocket and this is a carry state. By the same token, I told him to have a nice day rather than encourage his aggression. Guns can make people polite.
@Americcan i am very familiar with the constitution, but I remember the part of the 2nd amendment that says "well regulated militia". I do not overlook those three words to advance my agenda. the line "threat of violence" can be defined many different ways by many different people dependent on their own life conditioning. it may be that what you consider a threat of violence would not even be noticed by me
" I do not overlook those three words to advance my agenda. "
No, you misinterpret them to advance your agenda. Are the rights to speech, religion, assembly, press, and to be free from arbitrary search and seizure collective rights? No, they are individual rights. The USSC has made it clear that the right to keep and bear arms is also an individual right. So, unless you haven't thought about this, or unless you are genuinely ignorant on the subject, then you must be a liar.
@BeingNobody1956 Yeah...me having a fire extinguisher makes me a pussy because i like to be prepared in case a fire breaks out! Me wearing my seatbelt makes me a pussy, too!!! Having insurance?...i must be afraid of my own shadow!!
@evolutionist101 you have a far greater risk of dying from some health related reason than any of those things you mentioned. being killed by a gun would fall at about 15 on your probable causes of death behind mostly health related risks, yet i seriously doubt that you do much of anything preventative in this area. being killed by a gun is so improbable it is ridiculous..unless you are suisidal. more people kill THEMSELVES with guns by FAR than being killed by someone else with a gun
@evolutionist101 i didnt use the word "pussy". my point is why are you so paranoid that you think you need to carry a gun around. i've probably been around the block more than you and i have never felt the need to own a gun. i'm sorry but i just dont get it. what are you so afraid of in the world?
@BeingNobody1956 So me having a Fire extinguisher makes me paranoid as well? Wearing my seatbelt makes me paranoid? Have you felt the need to prepare for anything? You realize I'm not afraid. That question is NONSENSE. I've prevented 2 Felony's in my life because I had a firearm. You "being around the block more than you" has NOTHING to do with it. I know 70 years old that have "been around the block more than you" that would disagree with you.(if you want to go that route)
Yeah, yeah that law being defeated will keep criminals from carrying guns across states. Anti-gunners are not grounded in reality. "Turk" is an over opinionated buffoon. I watch him in the winter so his hot air warms my house. 911 is there to clean up the aftermath not to prevent a darn thing. It's called the "insurance mentality" if you don't buy into that then please... drop all your insurance policies now! Scientifically it's the fight or flight response. Anti = flight, Gun = fight.
I am all for states rights, however I think that this law would not force a state to issue a ccw permit, but it would require someone that has a ccw to carry when on vacation or on any visit.
dude... have you been in america lately???i need a gun if i dont want to fall vicitim to gunviolence. hell give me an ar 52. if you want some peace you gotta be strapped. the value of life has slipped so far lately...
What is the Democratic Party's view on gun control? They think that only Hollywood celebrities should have guns. Everyone else would be a criminal. Rosie O'Donnell is a good example of that hypocrisy. She advocates gun bans, but has armed bodyguards.
@StoogeWatcher no, i think its quite the opposite. Most liberals who own guns (like myself) own them because we are terrified of what inbred swine like yourself would do in the heat of the moment, like finding out i'm a liberal
@Jerrysway its funny that anytime someone like you sees someone who is not afraid of anyone and who is not so paranoid as to feel the need to walk around strapped, you view as a "pussy liberal".. I doubt that I would be a "pussy" if I was standing in front of you looking you in the eye
@BeingNobody1956 Lmao! Why wouldn't you be a pussy liberal? Just cuz your looking me in the eye? WTF kind of stupid logic is that crap? What I find really funny is the amount of gun hating liberal's in government that either CARRY a gun, or have "strapped" security guards. Hypocrite pussy liberals! Looking me in the eye or not!
What people don't understand is people who apply for conceal carry don't hove any notion of hurting any one. They do how ever have mind seat of defending themselves and those around them.
@dlstb I agree with your stand on taxes. Everyone should be taxed the same and the politicians should stop leeching off are economy. BTW Can you PM me the link for that wallet .380? plzzzz. OH and I resind the moveing back to IL comment as I found some pretty good firearm and martail arts instructers around me. Better then I had in the chicago area.
@bigbenusa45 just bing kel-tec wallet .380, you'll see it. I say bing because I don't like some of google's paying practices that are prejudice against straight people.
This guy is just a scared little man. If he really understood that America is founded on liberty and there is a growing group that calls ourselves libertarian, he would know that we really don't care how other people decide to live. What we care about is protecting liberty, and everyone's rights. He will find out in the next election how far into the minority he really is.
@JImmy4336 You are a scared little person. Do you have any idea how many people have been attacked by a person carrying a concealed gun with a permit? Better yet, if a person is of the type that would rob you, would they even bother to get a permit? I really hope that my state passes the open carry legislation that our new governor said would pass.
If this had passed I'd be moving back to Illinois. This law would have meant nationwide concealed carry with any permit, meaning joe smoe a resident of chicago IL gets an out of state florida or utah permit and can then carry anywhere in the US includeing downtown chicago. It almost passed and could posably pass next time. The crime rate would plumit..
Your a friggen idiot, the constitution trumps states rights. The second amendment says the people have a right to keep and bear arms but says nothing about gay rights. Oh and BY THE WAY had this have passed it would have ment nationwide concealed carry. IL,CAL,NY and MASS residents can get permits in florida and utah right now and with those two permits they can carry in 40+ different states that except FL and UT permits. Had that law passed I could carry in all 50 states with any states permit.
@bigbenusa45 I also think it should have passed, but, when you start talking down gay "rights" - and I assume you mean specifically the right to marry- you do harm to the cause. Personally, I really don't care if gays marry, but I also don't think it is any business of the gov't as to who gets married. In other words, I think that a church should have the authority to say whether a couple can marry while a contract signed by two individuals should be enough for the gov't side of things.
@bigbenusa45 also, if we pass needed tax reform like the FairTax there will be no need to even have a govt contract because there will be no more filing on the part of individuals. The less the gov't has to do with your personal life the better.
If someone has a gun pointed at your head, and you attempt to pull a gun out, you will be shot. This is not the movies. If someone is trying to mug you, and they have a gun, just listen to them. Your escape is almost guaranteed as opposed to fighting back. They have a gun, and pulling a trigger takes less time than it takes to pull out a gun and pull the trigger.
Keep guns around, but be realistic here. Freeze the credit cards, whatever you have to do. If you fight back, you get shot.
@warcraftorhell2 and if you stand there like an idiot, what is to say you don't just get shot anyway?
The coolest thing I've seen is a small .380 ruger that fits in a sleeve and is the shape of a wallet. You keep it in your pocket like you would a wallet and if a mugger says gimme your wallet, you give them lead instead.
If your going to be realistic you should at least use the scout's motto and be prepared. We all have smoke alarms even though most of us won't burn down our house.
@dlstb Easy. Because if you get shot the punishment for the criminal is much worse than petty theft. If you think you can lift your arm and pull the trigger faster than he can simply pull the trigger, this isn't the movies. You'll get shot. If the mugger has a knife, you can probably win easy. Be prepared. But if they have a gun against your head, just give them the wallet. It's not worth your life.
@warcraftorhell2 Obviously, a person with a gun to their head is at a disadvantage in every situation. However, if everyone took their own security and the security of other people seriously and actively prepared for bad situations by arming themselves and being proficient in self defense including the use of a gun, there would be far less criminals willing to take advantage of the average person. By the way, this isn't warcraft. If you fail to prepare, and die, there isn't a second chance.
@dlstb That person with the gun to their head, no matter how prepared, dies if they try to draw and fire. Being prepared doesn't stop that, unless you plan to shoot as they run away. That's still murder. Carrying the weapon is fine, but life isn't the movies. Crime doesn't stop for simple reasons. Organized crime will go up in its place, if anything. Last, mocking a name I made six years ago doesn't make your argument good. Especially when you need the second chance with your plan.
@warcraftorhell2 You forget, like all too many people, that in a real life situation it is very difficult to sneak up to someone and put a gun to their head. Have you ever been able to sneak up on a person in a dark alley? Further, anywhere where a person would have their guard down to 0 would be very public with people all around. If a substantial number of people had guns for protection in these areas, the threat would be mitigated by their presence.
@dlstb Being sneaky isn't a requirement when someone is pointing a gun at your head. If a lot of people have guns in a public area, then it would work. But I already brought it up that being prepared is good. Then I said that trying to draw and fire before the other guy can shoot is going to get you killed.
@warcraftorhell2 Exactly, just wait for him to turn and walk away and shoot him. I'm not against shooting a person who holds a gun to my head at any point after he does it. A second later or a year. If someone puts a gun to your head to steal from you or hurt you, they have waived any right to life.
@warcraftorhell2 Your assumption that organized crime goes up when law abiding people carry guns is patently wrong. Where do you get your numbers? Do you get numbers, or do you rely only on your faulty intuition? Also, shooting someone in the back who just held a gun to your head should not be illegal. Holding a gun to a person's head is bad. The victim killing the perpetrator is good and spares other people from becoming victimized. Some murder is good, which is why I like capital punishment.
@dlstb I said that organized crime goes up when small crimes go down.
If you're trying to get into problems with the justice system, that's another topic. It's not a perfect system. The victim can still get punished. Killing in self-defense is good. Unfortunately, the person doesn't always get off easy.
@warcraftorhell2 You have yet to show proof. It like when people just say that man-made global warming is real and all the scientists agree so deal with it. When in fact, there is a large group that believes the science is inconclusive at best. You need evidence to substantiate your claim.
@dlstb Crime rate is never 0%. If, hypothetically, "Unorganized crime" decreases, there will be more organized crime. Unless you believe the crime rate will hit 0%.
Also, global warming is real, man's impact is simple. Carbon dioxide and other things are created by man, go into the air, trap more of the sun's heat. Simple. Natural process, but we influence it, not create it.
@warcraftorhell2 In your example, you treat crime as if it is an economic issue. In other words, when the supply of one goes down it drives demand for a substitute good. That is just not right.
Also, water holds CO2 in solution all the time and it covers 70% of the earth. If the earth is rising in temperature, so are the oceans, and they will outgas CO2 as a result. Gases are held better in solution when the solution is cold. Therefore, any link between man-made CO2 and warming is ?able
@warcraftorhell2 Did you hear that we have been in a solar flare minimum for some time now? What effect does this have on the earth? Are you so enlightened as to know how much energy is shot at the earth at a given moment?
@warcraftorhell2 What makes you think that the criminal thinks about the punishment when they commit a crime? If he thought that he would get caught, he wouldn't commit any crimes. Do you really think they sit around saying that while this action will net me 27 days in jail as a class2 misdemeanor, this other action gets me 20 years max and a felony charge. The answer is no. They see something they want and take it. It makes no diff to them whether you die or what the punishment 4 it is.
@dlstb You're comparing serial killers to common thugs. Nearly every small-time criminal, i.e. someone who would be mugging, wouldn't kill unless ordered to because it's harder to get caught after mugging than killing.
A serial killer on the other hand, that kind of person would see something they want and take it. That's psychopathy, and not a trait that the majority of criminals have.
Over 40% of american households own guns. So, you are saying that over 140 million americans need to give up their right of protection because of 12 thousand MURDERS a/year. My uncle saved his life by shooting someone breaking into his house who held a gun. Europe took away guns and the next year gun deaths increased 400%. If you want to kill people, take away guns. If you want to save people, take away burgers (because heart attacks kills 2.8million per year). Our founders weren't stupid.
let me throw a senario out there for you. lets just say you are taking a stroll out in central park minding your own business when you find yourself face to face with a pistol and a derranged mugger who is determined to kill you. and unless you are a master of krav maga and can disarm the attacker you are screwed and im 99.9% sure u would want someone to intervene. would you rather face death or have a law abiding citizen with a concealed carry weapon around you?
@DTOMPATRIOT Why would a "deranged mugger who is determined to kill you" hesitate with his pistol so long that someone would even be able to intervene? Also, how would the "mugging" victim or the armed, law-abiding citizen even know that this "mugger" wants to kill the victim? Anybody except the mugger would thing it's just a standard mugging, which is no cause to murder a guy. Lastly, the law is pertaining to "concealed" weapons only, not unconcealed weapons, too.
Reading the Constitution is a good first step before releasing biased reporting. I would have been too embarrassed to publish this. There are so many things wrong with this report it would be a waste of time to enumerate them all.
I usually like your videos and i am a democrat but i do not at all agree with you on gun control ideas. The reason is if I know your packing heat I am not going to fuck with you and if i have a gun who is going to fuck with ME. Instead I know you dont have a gun so i can do what ever i want while you wait 5-10minutes for an officer to rescue you well to bad those were the last few minutes of your life.
A CCW holder is not so trigger happy as to pull it out for every little confrontation, but only as a last recourse to save lives. They're quite responsible, and safe, when it comes to even thinking of using their gun, and not just some paranoid person running around with a weapon. I wish people would finally come to understand that [we] are good, law abiding folk, simply looking out for them when the police cant. *sigh*
if my ccw is worth shit in texas than their drivers licenses should be worth shit in my state, its the same principal, if they want to drive in my state, in the retarded positions being portrayed by this uneducated gentleman, they should be forced to go to the states DMV and go through the whole drivers test in every state they would like to drive in. its the same retarded thing
@Sharingan221 The principal is different in that he's referring to states that don't allow concealed weapons. If there were a state in the US that didn't permit automobiles, no state's license would be valid in that state. It's not the same retarded thing. Try paying attention.
@chilipeppers91 no you need to research it more, I have a ccw to carry in my state, i live on the border of another state and when i go into that state (because i own property there) i am required, by law, to take the ammunition of my magazines, which is bullshit, and both states allow ccw, my ccw should work in any state that allows ccw, but it just doesnt happen, and its utter bullshit
@chilipeppers91 Let's use your analogy, shall we? Every state has to recognize the drivers license of every other state due to a supreme court ruling. Why do states permit people to drive though? Because a car is a tool used to travel and no state has the authority to deny the right of the individual to travel. Applying that to self defense, no authority PERIOD has the ability to take your right to defend yourself, a gun is a tool to defend yourself. Therefore other states should recognize permt
owning/carrying a gun is related to an amendment...a constitutional right....I never read anything about gay marriage in the constitution.....this guy is trying to compare apples to oranges in a horribly illogical ethical thought experiment and making gross generalizations....in addition to having the worst jokes ever.
@daboodeef179 please explain Britain's & Japan's low gun-related crime rate...You have presented an argument with 0 facts or evidence. I am curious as to what you have to support it.
@ArsenalRyan Genie is "out of the bottle" in USA. Criminals have guns already. Gun laws only take from law abiding people. That fact is irrefutable. Conjecture is a sign of argumentative weakness. I'll leave you to research "other countries", I live in the USA grounded in reality. I'll keep my insurance policy as you dial 911. 911 only cleans up the loser. If you don't believe in insurance then drop all your policies now. Central Nervous System > Sympathetic System > Fight or Flight Mechanism.
@UnitedCorpOfAmerica I am assuming your statement about conjectures is to the original poster that I replied to; as I did not provide an argument without any evidence. I just want to clarify your statements as you are making a conjecture, and you may have evidence to support it, so I am asking why you believe it is a 'fact' that 'gun Laws only [hurt] law abiding people.' I am also curious what you mean by your statement, that suggests the UK and Japan are not 'grounded' in reality. Thank you.
@ArsenalRyan Sure. Take a gun ban for instance. What guns will they confiscate? The guns they know exist and can track them to a home? How will they track the guns that have been sold on a black market? By definition then the legal guns will be taken. About Japan and/or UK, to each a various history of guns in their societies. I'm assuming this "thought experiment" is about the USA. How does one "disarm" the people? Only the legal guns can be sought after, the black market guns can't be located
@ArsenalRyan Sorry, ran out of alphanumerics. The "grounded in reality" statement means... we have guns in the USA. Only traceable guns can be confiscated. Pretty simple really. Taking guns away from law abiding people will do what for gun crimes? Unless the "reason" spoon fed to us is not gun crimes. Sensationalism warrants the ignorant to cry for help. Mao, Hitler, Stalin disarmed their nations prior to... But that could never happen here.... Really?
@UnitedCorpOfAmerica Mao, Hitler, and Stalin are examples of choice you choose to be as ignorant as those you judge. You take items to their extreme and discredit their extreme because you're a child. You project inability and inferiority onto your country. The slippery slope argument only works if you assume everybody in your country is stupid naive and weak which is a realization you had when you first understood the people you love. Don't worry you don't epitomize humanity.
as much as it pains me to admit it cuz he annoys me... but he is right the federal government shouldn't get to pick and choose which laws states have to have reciprocity for. Not to mention its not a power expressly given therefor it falls under 10th. Though once again you are doing the typical liberal appels to orange. Hunting long guns are different then CCW's and CCW permit is different then a firearms registration. you make one logical argument then foul it up with liberal nonsense.
AAHHH wrong Cenk. The states have rights but the peoples rights is more important. If it's carrying a gun or marrying a man. No one should fuck with that.
"...a Democrat filibuster, a little role reversal"??? Like the Democrats have NEVER filibustered before. Only Republicans do it? Really? Gotta love how libs criticize everything Republicans do, but look the other way when Dems do it.
cenk kinda fucked himseld talking about state laws interfering with other states and gay marraige blah blah. if a gay person from anywhere in the US can go and get married in vermont, then if your state says yu can carry a gun you should be able to carry it if you leave the state
One of the problems with these Progressives is that they are in America insted of a leftest state. Another, is that they love government programs that bill their grandkids paychecks. As for gun laws, they need to understand that there should be ZERO anywhere in the U.S. anyhow, anyway. PERIOD. Not a single gun law in the country. If they disagree with that, they should read the 2nd and shut the hell up, they should just move to country thats not free like the U.S. so they are happy.
Yeah i agree states have the rite to make there own laws. They can not be forced to go along with other states CCW permits. I hope that they can try to come out with something that makes it more simple for cross state CCW for gun friendly states.
So far what I've gathered from watching a few episodes of this show is that people who own firearms are to be feared because they are mentally unstable and paranoid. Alright then.
You are wrong about central park being more dangerous with people "packing heat". Most people with concealed carry permits are responsible, mature, and law abiding citizens that do not commit crimes. Also, why do you think people with permits would be walking around central park at night anyways? News flash, there are guns at night in central park but it is the people without permits (also known as criminals) that will shot you for your wallet.
This will be the best security for maintaining our liberties. A nation of well-informed men who have been taught to know and prize the rights which God has given them cannot be enslaved. It is in the religion of ignorance that tyranny begins
~Benjamin Franklin
The people who are gonna have a concealed weapon that are law abiding citizens will be responsible, its the criminals you have to worry about that don't care about the laws that are the threat, Americans have the right to always be armed!
Left wing nut jobs who want to ban guns can't think for themselves. They don't have the brain power to make their own decisions about anything so they simply belive whatever the mainstream media tells them too. If the mainstream media could report every crime that was detoured because of a gun, These sheeple might understand why guns are the best defence agains crime.
Do you think criminals give a damn about the law? (Don't think too hard on that one). There are unnecessary interviews of thugs in prison saying they don't care about gun rights, it doesn't matter to them. But to the majority of citizens, carrying a gun (the right to self defense) prevents crime more than being unarmed. If somebody pulls out a gun while they're being mugged, I guarantee the mugger will be more likely to run than if the victim were unarmed.
The constitution is the law of the land, everything else is not relevant. If you dont like, I guess keep getting your activist judges to legislate from the bench. Like we have with the Arizona issue. I would agree, trying to get a law passed that is already passed, is pretty stupid. We have then 2nd Amendment. Period.
Yea it but be bad for a good person who is allowed to carry a gun for his and others saftey not to be allowed to act like a good person with a gun for protection in another state. The bad dudes do not worry about any gun laws.
@mp5man The point is that Republicans--who are supposedly for states having the right to make their own decisions regarding their own states--supported a law that would pretty much take away that right. It's funny. It's like the CEO of Pepsi urging America to buy Coke. It's funny, although not that funny, since it almost passed.
@bigrobdeezey No its sad that it didn’t pass car accidents kill 11,740 more people a year then guns do (guns kill 30,896 ((according to the Brady campaign which includes 360 criminals killed by police)) and 42,636 killed by cars according to the Federal Highway Administration) but as long as you have a drivers license from Texas you can drive in New York it should be the same with guns!
@mp5man Your analogy assumes that New York has outlawed driving, and here you come from Texas, driving into NY, thinking it's okay.
My point is, republicans claim to support small government. This is simply not true. If republicans cared about state's and individual's rights, President Bush never would have endorsed a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage naionwide, and Prop 8 in California would have never been massively funded by out-of-state right-wingers.
@bigrobdeezey I don’t understand where you go that I assume that driving is outlawed in New York. My point is if I can drive in any state on one states divers license why cant I carry my handgun keep in mind the RIGHT to KEEP and BEAR arms is GUARANTIED by the constitution unlike driving. So any law that keeps me from doing that is unconstitutional!
@mp5man I think you should read my comment again. I didn't say YOU assumed anything. I said your argument would only make sense if driving is outlawed in NY. See what I'm getting at here? Your "Driver's License" argument makes no sense, because we CAN drive cross-country if we want to, because all states have legal driving priveleges, unlike CC laws. If a state doesn't want it there, you shouldn't be able to do it just because you can do it in your home state.
@bigrobdeezey I think you should read my comment again because the RIGHT to KEEP and BEAR arms is GUARANTIED by the CONSTITUTION and that has been approved by the us supreme court! Making any law against keeping and bearing (carrying) null and void just ask the city of Chicago and the district of Colombia.
what makes perfect sense is to issue out concealed weapons license. Mandatory Training about gun laws and Gun safety should be requirement much the same way as we issue people a license to drive after they show knowledge of the laws and show responsibility behind the wheel of a car.
@SuperMachinegunner well that is the reason for Gun safety courses and Gun training at a range before someone purchases a weapon. In all honesty more people die from stupid car accidents than from Gun related crimes and accidental Gun accidents. I do also feel that everyone should attend Drivers education classes before they get a license to drive as well. Everyone should be minimum 18 years old to drive and own a weapon.
@TheCashistrash totaly agree with you, but they should regulate what you can have weapons wise, couse certain weapons a civilian just doesnt need, like aussault rifle machineguns and 50 caliber sniperrifles
@SuperMachinegunner Well not according to the second amendment. The right to bear arms shall not be infringed. You know the right to bear arms is more than just for Hunting. Most people don't understand that part. It is also more than just for personal self defence as well. The intent was for people to be armed and form militias to protect the united states from our enemies both foreign and domestic. The US constitution does not give the government authority for a Standing army just a Navy.
Hey shithead. The 2nd admendment is a national right not a right to be taken away by states. If obama loses. We will get this right.

NObama 2012.

idiots like this guy think that gun laws makes places like mexico safer; where the crinimals have no fear of you shooting back.

this guy's a retard. states rights refer things that aren't mentioned in the constitution.
the 2nd amendment like the 1st amendment is a COUNTRY WIDE right. no one can deny them. if the feds deny it then it's up to the states to nullify any anti-gun legislation and vis versa.
it's like one state saying u can't protest in public. you can't equate it with a state right such as housing regulations DUFUS!!
dab0331 4 months ago
Sorry, but gun policies are one of the few things on the republican side that I agree with. Still, doesn't excuse the republicans for the states' rights hypocrisy, but calling a proposed law that would give law abiding citizens more flexibility on how to protect themselves crazy is crazy itself.
Krogoth04 5 months ago 4
@Krogoth04 You have very good reasoning and seem very sensible, but I do not agree with gun laws. while you may feel protected there are a number of things that can go wrong:
1. Not every american is a rational thinker; people will use guns when they are angry.
2. If you shoot and miss that leads to the possibility of a stray bullet.
3.If both people have guns someone, or both people will try to shoot each other to rid of the threat.
The risks out weigh the gains for me.
zetsukitty12345 5 months ago
@zetsukitty12345

JimmyGunXD556 6 months ago

By your statements, I’m sure you’re not a fan of communism either.
joedanero 7 months ago
@joedanero Well said Joe! Let me however reafirm the bill of rights wherein the 2ndA lies. The bill of rights are REQUIRED by ALL of the states. Anything beyond the bill of rights and the constitution of which the bill of rights is a part of, falls intot he domain of the 10thA. This is how states can controll guns as they wish, but they can not legaly deny them completely. Look into it; ANY fed reg of the bill of rights is technicaly unconstitutional. It violates the 10thA.
Kellett781 7 months ago
@Kellett781 I agree it would simplify things for responsible owners if all states had to respect each others laws as the individual policies are too convoluted. It would be a huge convenience to not have to worry about what state I'm taking my handgun through. However, States are governed by their people (I still have faith in the system:)),each community is able to adopt gun policy based on what the people see fit. AB144 goes overboard by denying good citizens the 2nd...in public!! its a joke.
joedanero 7 months ago
The liberals love it when they shove their california progressive laws upon states like NM but they dont like it when CA has to follow the laws of the conservative states. The problem is that CA is already violating the 2nd amendment, especially with the AB144 being passed. It is a horribly bad comparison to compare a constitutionally guaranteed right to carry a gun, to that of gay marriage, or the drug laws. Indead, CA is the rare state to ban guns, or nearly restrict them completely outof use
jacobew2000 7 months ago
@jacobew2000 I agree. Things like AB 144 is when the federal governtment should intervene to protect our rights. I'm sure they will just as they did with the Marijuana distributer busts they were doing. The question is how when. This AB 144 is when we all should get pissed. Its the state telling you, that you cant have a handgun. They look at it like, "Well, we can already tell you, you cannot own a machine gun"!!

If thugs on the street thought that more people had guns in the streets, they would think twice before trying to mug someone. So in the end, I've changed my mind; I'm in favor of guns. aFullPoopSack 10 months ago
JWY 10 months ago
people in this country are so damned paranoid with all this gun worship. why dont you OBJECTIVELY investigate some gun crime statistic and you will be far less afraid of going outside without thinking you have to be armed and dangerous. i have never been afraid to go outside and do anything i want to do anyplace i have lived in the united states. geez. bunch of pansies
BeingNobody1956 10 months ago
@BeingNobody1956
Americcan 10 months ago
@Americcan i am very familiar with the constitution, but I remember the part of the 2nd amendment that says "well regulated militia". I do not overlook those three words to advance my agenda. the line "threat of violence" can be defined many different ways by many different people dependent on their own life conditioning. it may be that what you consider a threat of violence would not even be noticed by me
BeingNobody1956 10 months ago
@BeingNobody1956
Americcan 10 months ago

evolutionist101 9 months ago
@evolutionist101 you have a far greater risk of dying from some health related reason than any of those things you mentioned. being killed by a gun would fall at about 15 on your probable causes of death behind mostly health related risks, yet i seriously doubt that you do much of anything preventative in this area. being killed by a gun is so improbable it is ridiculous..unless you are suisidal. more people kill THEMSELVES with guns by FAR than being killed by someone else with a gun
BeingNobody1956 9 months ago
@BeingNobody1956 OK....so what is your point? You said yourself..."being killed by a gun is so improbable it is ridiculous."
So how does that make me a "pussy" for wanting a gun?
evolutionist101 9 months ago
@evolutionist101 i didnt use the word "pussy". my point is why are you so paranoid that you think you need to carry a gun around. i've probably been around the block more than you and i have never felt the need to own a gun. i'm sorry but i just dont get it. what are you so afraid of in the world?
BeingNobody1956 9 months ago
@BeingNobody1956 So me having a Fire extinguisher makes me paranoid as well? Wearing my seatbelt makes me paranoid? Have you felt the need to prepare for anything? You realize I'm not afraid. That question is NONSENSE. I've prevented 2 Felony's in my life because I had a firearm. You "being around the block more than you" has NOTHING to do with it. I know 70 years old that have "been around the block more than you" that would disagree with you.(if you want to go that route)
evolutionist101 9 months ago
Yeah, yeah that law being defeated will keep criminals from carrying guns across states. Anti-gunners are not grounded in reality. "Turk" is an over opinionated buffoon. I watch him in the winter so his hot air warms my house. 911 is there to clean up the aftermath not to prevent a darn thing. It's called the "insurance mentality" if you don't buy into that then please... drop all your insurance policies now! Scientifically it's the fight or flight response. Anti = flight, Gun = fight.

dlstb 1 year ago
If this had passed I'd be moving back to Illinois. This law would have meant nationwide concealed carry with any permit, meaning joe smoe a resident of chicago IL gets an out of state florida or utah permit and can then carry anywhere in the US includeing downtown chicago. It almost passed and could posably pass next time. The crime rate would plumit..
bigbenusa45 1 year ago 2
Your a friggen idiot, the constitution trumps states rights. The second amendment says the people have a right to keep and bear arms but says nothing about gay rights. Oh and BY THE WAY had this have passed it would have ment nationwide concealed carry. IL,CAL,NY and MASS residents can get permits in florida and utah right now and with those two permits they can carry in 40+ different states that except FL and UT permits. Had that law passed I could carry in all 50 states with any states permit.
bigbenusa45 1 year ago
@bigbenusa45 I also think it should have passed, but, when you start talking down gay "rights" - and I assume you mean specifically the right to marry- you do harm to the cause. Personally, I really don't care if gays marry, but I also don't think it is any business of the gov't as to who gets married. In other words, I think that a church should have the authority to say whether a couple can marry while a contract signed by two individuals should be enough for the gov't side of things.
dlstb 1 year ago
@bigbenusa45 also, if we pass needed tax reform like the FairTax there will be no need to even have a govt contract because there will be no more filing on the part of individuals. The less the gov't has to do with your personal life the better.
dlstb 1 year ago
If someone has a gun pointed at your head, and you attempt to pull a gun out, you will be shot. This is not the movies. If someone is trying to mug you, and they have a gun, just listen to them. Your escape is almost guaranteed as opposed to fighting back. They have a gun, and pulling a trigger takes less time than it takes to pull out a gun and pull the trigger.
Keep guns around, but be realistic here. Freeze the credit cards, whatever you have to do. If you fight back, you get shot.
warcraftorhell2 1 year ago
@warcraftorhell2 and if you stand there like an idiot, what is to say you don't just get shot anyway?
The coolest thing I've seen is a small .380 ruger that fits in a sleeve and is the shape of a wallet. You keep it in your pocket like you would a wallet and if a mugger says gimme your wallet, you give them lead instead.
If your going to be realistic you should at least use the scout's motto and be prepared. We all have smoke alarms even though most of us won't burn down our house.
dlstb 1 year ago
@dlstb Easy. Because if you get shot the punishment for the criminal is much worse than petty theft. If you think you can lift your arm and pull the trigger faster than he can simply pull the trigger, this isn't the movies. You'll get shot. If the mugger has a knife, you can probably win easy. Be prepared. But if they have a gun against your head, just give them the wallet. It's not worth your life.
warcraftorhell2 1 year ago
@warcraftorhell2 Obviously, a person with a gun to their head is at a disadvantage in every situation. However, if everyone took their own security and the security of other people seriously and actively prepared for bad situations by arming themselves and being proficient in self defense including the use of a gun, there would be far less criminals willing to take advantage of the average person. By the way, this isn't warcraft. If you fail to prepare, and die, there isn't a second chance.
dlstb 1 year ago
@dlstb That person with the gun to their head, no matter how prepared, dies if they try to draw and fire. Being prepared doesn't stop that, unless you plan to shoot as they run away. That's still murder. Carrying the weapon is fine, but life isn't the movies. Crime doesn't stop for simple reasons. Organized crime will go up in its place, if anything. Last, mocking a name I made six years ago doesn't make your argument good. Especially when you need the second chance with your plan.
warcraftorhell2 1 year ago
@warcraftorhell2 You forget, like all too many people, that in a real life situation it is very difficult to sneak up to someone and put a gun to their head. Have you ever been able to sneak up on a person in a dark alley? Further, anywhere where a person would have their guard down to 0 would be very public with people all around. If a substantial number of people had guns for protection in these areas, the threat would be mitigated by their presence.
dlstb 1 year ago
@dlstb Being sneaky isn't a requirement when someone is pointing a gun at your head. If a lot of people have guns in a public area, then it would work. But I already brought it up that being prepared is good. Then I said that trying to draw and fire before the other guy can shoot is going to get you killed.
warcraftorhell2 1 year ago
@warcraftorhell2 Exactly, just wait for him to turn and walk away and shoot him. I'm not against shooting a person who holds a gun to my head at any point after he does it. A second later or a year. If someone puts a gun to your head to steal from you or hurt you, they have waived any right to life.
dlstb 1 year ago
@dlstb That's a crime. That's unfortunately how the justice system works.
warcraftorhell2 1 year ago
@warcraftorhell2 Your assumption that organized crime goes up when law abiding people carry guns is patently wrong. Where do you get your numbers? Do you get numbers, or do you rely only on your faulty intuition? Also, shooting someone in the back who just held a gun to your head should not be illegal. Holding a gun to a person's head is bad. The victim killing the perpetrator is good and spares other people from becoming victimized. Some murder is good, which is why I like capital punishment.
dlstb 1 year ago
@dlstb I said that organized crime goes up when small crimes go down.
If you're trying to get into problems with the justice system, that's another topic. It's not a perfect system. The victim can still get punished. Killing in self-defense is good. Unfortunately, the person doesn't always get off easy.
warcraftorhell2 1 year ago
@warcraftorhell2 You have yet to show proof. It like when people just say that man-made global warming is real and all the scientists agree so deal with it. When in fact, there is a large group that believes the science is inconclusive at best. You need evidence to substantiate your claim.
dlstb 1 year ago
@dlstb Crime rate is never 0%. If, hypothetically, "Unorganized crime" decreases, there will be more organized crime. Unless you believe the crime rate will hit 0%.
Also, global warming is real, man's impact is simple. Carbon dioxide and other things are created by man, go into the air, trap more of the sun's heat. Simple. Natural process, but we influence it, not create it.
warcraftorhell2 1 year ago
@warcraftorhell2 In your example, you treat crime as if it is an economic issue. In other words, when the supply of one goes down it drives demand for a substitute good. That is just not right.
Also, water holds CO2 in solution all the time and it covers 70% of the earth. If the earth is rising in temperature, so are the oceans, and they will outgas CO2 as a result. Gases are held better in solution when the solution is cold. Therefore, any link between man-made CO2 and warming is ?able
dlstb 1 year ago
@warcraftorhell2 Did you hear that we have been in a solar flare minimum for some time now? What effect does this have on the earth? Are you so enlightened as to know how much energy is shot at the earth at a given moment?
dlstb 1 year ago
@warcraftorhell2 What makes you think that the criminal thinks about the punishment when they commit a crime? If he thought that he would get caught, he wouldn't commit any crimes. Do you really think they sit around saying that while this action will net me 27 days in jail as a class2 misdemeanor, this other action gets me 20 years max and a felony charge. The answer is no. They see something they want and take it. It makes no diff to them whether you die or what the punishment 4 it is.
dlstb 1 year ago
@dlstb You're comparing serial killers to common thugs. Nearly every small-time criminal, i.e. someone who would be mugging, wouldn't kill unless ordered to because it's harder to get caught after mugging than killing.
A serial killer on the other hand, that kind of person would see something they want and take it. That's psychopathy, and not a trait that the majority of criminals have.
warcraftorhell2 1 year ago

DTOMPATRIOT 1 year ago
@DTOMPATRIOT Why would a "deranged mugger who is determined to kill you" hesitate with his pistol so long that someone would even be able to intervene? Also, how would the "mugging" victim or the armed, law-abiding citizen even know that this "mugger" wants to kill the victim? Anybody except the mugger would thing it's just a standard mugging, which is no cause to murder a guy. Lastly, the law is pertaining to "concealed" weapons only, not unconcealed weapons, too.

*sigh*
Solidox2k 1 year ago
you cant compare gays getting married to gun rights gays marriages dont shoot people or protect anyone
redmule02 1 year ago
if my ccw is worth shit in texas than their drivers licenses should be worth shit in my state, its the same principal, if they want to drive in my state, in the retarded positions being portrayed by this uneducated gentleman, they should be forced to go to the states DMV and go through the whole drivers test in every state they would like to drive in. its the same retarded thing
Sharingan221 1 year ago
@Sharingan221 lol damn right
redmule02 1 year ago
@Sharingan221 The principal is different in that he's referring to states that don't allow concealed weapons. If there were a state in the US that didn't permit automobiles, no state's license would be valid in that state. It's not the same retarded thing. Try paying attention.
chilipeppers91 1 year ago
@chilipeppers91 no you need to research it more, I have a ccw to carry in my state, i live on the border of another state and when i go into that state (because i own property there) i am required, by law, to take the ammunition of my magazines, which is bullshit, and both states allow ccw, my ccw should work in any state that allows ccw, but it just doesnt happen, and its utter bullshit
Sharingan221 1 year ago
@chilipeppers91 Let's use your analogy, shall we? Every state has to recognize the drivers license of every other state due to a supreme court ruling. Why do states permit people to drive though? Because a car is a tool used to travel and no state has the authority to deny the right of the individual to travel. Applying that to self defense, no authority PERIOD has the ability to take your right to defend yourself, a gun is a tool to defend yourself. Therefore other states should recognize permt

@daboodeef179 please explain Britain's & Japan's low gun-related crime rate...You have presented an argument with 0 facts or evidence. I am curious as to what you have to support it.
ArsenalRyan 11 months ago
@ArsenalRyan Genie is "out of the bottle" in USA. Criminals have guns already. Gun laws only take from law abiding people. That fact is irrefutable. Conjecture is a sign of argumentative weakness. I'll leave you to research "other countries", I live in the USA grounded in reality. I'll keep my insurance policy as you dial 911. 911 only cleans up the loser. If you don't believe in insurance then drop all your policies now. Central Nervous System > Sympathetic System > Fight or Flight Mechanism.
UnitedCorpOfAmerica 10 months ago
@UnitedCorpOfAmerica I am assuming your statement about conjectures is to the original poster that I replied to; as I did not provide an argument without any evidence. I just want to clarify your statements as you are making a conjecture, and you may have evidence to support it, so I am asking why you believe it is a 'fact' that 'gun Laws only [hurt] law abiding people.' I am also curious what you mean by your statement, that suggests the UK and Japan are not 'grounded' in reality. Thank you.
ArsenalRyan 10 months ago
@ArsenalRyan Sure. Take a gun ban for instance. What guns will they confiscate? The guns they know exist and can track them to a home? How will they track the guns that have been sold on a black market? By definition then the legal guns will be taken. About Japan and/or UK, to each a various history of guns in their societies. I'm assuming this "thought experiment" is about the USA. How does one "disarm" the people? Only the legal guns can be sought after, the black market guns can't be located
UnitedCorpOfAmerica 10 months ago
@ArsenalRyan Sorry, ran out of alphanumerics. The "grounded in reality" statement means... we have guns in the USA. Only traceable guns can be confiscated. Pretty simple really. Taking guns away from law abiding people will do what for gun crimes? Unless the "reason" spoon fed to us is not gun crimes. Sensationalism warrants the ignorant to cry for help. Mao, Hitler, Stalin disarmed their nations prior to... But that could never happen here.... Really?
UnitedCorpOfAmerica 10 months ago

Hunting long guns are different then CCW's and CCW permit is different then a firearms registration. you make one logical argument then foul it up with liberal nonsense.

cletedawgthewalmart 1 year ago
One of the problems with these Progressives is that they are in America insted of a leftest state. Another, is that they love government programs that bill their grandkids paychecks. As for gun laws, they need to understand that there should be ZERO anywhere in the U.S. anyhow, anyway. PERIOD. Not a single gun law in the country. If they disagree with that, they should read the 2nd and shut the hell up, they should just move to country thats not free like the U.S. so they are happy.

You are wrong about central park being more dangerous with people "packing heat". Most people with concealed carry permits are responsible, mature, and law abiding citizens that do not commit crimes. Also, why do you think people with permits would be walking around central park at night anyways?

Period.

So it’s cool if the criminals have guns because they don’t care about the law but since I fallow the law I can become prey sounds fair to me.
mp5man 1 year ago
@mp5man The point is that Republicans--who are supposedly for states having the right to make their own decisions regarding their own states--supported a law that would pretty much take away that right. It's funny. It's like the CEO of Pepsi urging America to buy Coke. It's funny, although not that funny, since it almost passed.
bigrobdeezey 1 year ago
@bigrobdeezey No its sad that it didn’t pass car accidents kill 11,740 more people a year then guns do (guns kill 30,896 ((according to the Brady campaign which includes 360 criminals killed by police)) and 42,636 killed by cars according to the Federal Highway Administration) but as long as you have a drivers license from Texas you can drive in New York it should be the same with guns!
mp5man 1 year ago
@mp5man Your analogy assumes that New York has outlawed driving, and here you come from Texas, driving into NY, thinking it's okay.
My point is, republicans claim to support small government. This is simply not true. If republicans cared about state's and individual's rights, President Bush never would have endorsed a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage naionwide, and Prop 8 in California would have never been massively funded by out-of-state right-wingers.
bigrobdeezey 1 year ago
@bigrobdeezey I don’t understand where you go that I assume that driving is outlawed in New York. My point is if I can drive in any state on one states divers license why cant I carry my handgun keep in mind the RIGHT to KEEP and BEAR arms is GUARANTIED by the constitution unlike driving. So any law that keeps me from doing that is unconstitutional!
mp5man 1 year ago
@mp5man I think you should read my comment again. I didn't say YOU assumed anything. I said your argument would only make sense if driving is outlawed in NY. See what I'm getting at here? Your "Driver's License" argument makes no sense, because we CAN drive cross-country if we want to, because all states have legal driving priveleges, unlike CC laws. If a state doesn't want it there, you shouldn't be able to do it just because you can do it in your home state.
bigrobdeezey 1 year ago
This has been flagged as spam show
@bigrobdeezey I think you should read my comment again because the RIGHT to KEEP and BEAR arms is GUARANTIED by the CONSTITUTION and that has been approved by the us supreme court! what makes perfect sense is to issue out concealed weapons license. Mandatory Training about gun laws and Gun safety should be requirement much the same way as we issue people a license to drive after they show knowledge of the laws and show responsibility behind the wheel of a car.

@TheCashistrash thats not enough, most people who get there drivers license are still very shitty drivers

TheCashistrash 1 year ago
