Clearly, you don't feel the bike yet.

Try to practice handling first on asphalt pavement

and try to figure out your bike's center of gravity. Ride

your bike uphill with no hands on handlebar. If you can't

do that, then put two gallons of water into your backpack

for counter weight. Pick up your style and leave rag doll behind:)

All I can say is that if I where you I would have got a $700-1000 hard tail and worked my way up to a delirium, and if i did just jump to it I would have built it up lighter,hahaha and I would have gone with magura , avid, or maybe hayes. Not hope, HAHA "hope" you stop.

not the best riding tbh. i think you will fall in to the bracket of straight to full sus and so not learning how to ride a hard tail which subsquently gives you the speed on a full sus. hardtail riding means you have to be smooth and use as little sus as possible. the small drop off at the stairs bit were embarrassing. the bike seems to be riding u, not the other way round.

Don't buy the joplin doesn't work well and only moves 3 inches. Also the settle clamping device isn't very strong. There is another one called Black Mamba by Rase, it moves 9 inches very cool

V2 yes, i've been through c2 m4 mono and mini, hope c2 was great nothing but problems with the others.

V2's are good much better but still not a patch on formulas, have a nose on mtbr in the reviews you'll soon see what i mean. ;-)

I don't have the anthem x3 yet, x3 because frames are all gone and this way i can throw on all my xtr gear from the tomac, plus the pushed rp23 fits nicely.

Old m4 not the newer models, tried the moto and it is a much better improvement but i still prefer formula oro's.

Yup formula also have a vented floating rotor trouble is they're that poweful i've seen the break the forks they're mounted too, i might get the r1's but im still yet undecided as they don't have bite adjustment and aren't meant to have as much modulation, power wise they are better though.

I'be ditched going for industry nine's, too much hassle and stories or rims going so im having me magura durin sl's and red metal zero rims instead. ;-)

if ur considering hope Try the 09 tech hope levers either with the x2 or x4 depending on how much power u think ur needing. I race DH with 2008 M4's but my sponsor bike has the tech levers on V2's & yes they would rip the average xc fork to pieces! From a mechanics point of view the formulas & hopes r bloody reliable, were a hope tech centre so C our fair share of hope breaks go out and few come back in for anything other than hoses or a bleed! gd plan with the I9's tho!

Well the thing with I9's i've heard of spokes coming loose and to get them light you usually have to buy stans rims which don't have eyelets and i don't like that, red metal zero are slighty heavier than crossmax slr but much stiffer and roll faster, similar freewheel to a chris king too.

Hope probably have come a long way but in the early days of m4/m2/mini/mono etc they were a mare for me, i tried different rotors as well, i was a clyde back then so that could be why, the formulas are everything and more, just looking a bit tatty as this bike gets used a lot.
