Great cover, the part @ !:27 into it with the 1,flat 5,1 run needs some work. The easiest and clearest way to do it is to use your right hand on the fretboard to be a dampener. then tap the notes through it. Its way faster and cleaner when you play it live for friends.

It's called a killswitch. There built in to some guitars or you can make your own. It basically cuts off the sound briefly when you press the button. Obviously you can create cool sounds with it or in this case a song.

Another version of a kill switch is possible if your guitar has two volume knobs for each pickup. Turn one of the volume knobs off and switch between the on pickup and the off pickup! Hope this helps.
