Gerald, I'm sorry to hear your Baja experience didnt go as planned. Im a fellow rider here in OKC with dreams of running the Baja 1000 one day. Is there any chance you could put together a Part 4 to your story sharing your lessons learned? From your groups experience you could cover: What one needs to bring to be as prepared as possible. Your must have list for the riders pack. Do cell phones work & are they enough? Temp. swing from day to night (extra gear?), & so on. Baja 2010? Rob C.
