Clash of "is" and "should," I think.

Gellar's portrayal of "Buffy" proved that she has amazing range and ability. If movie-makers were looking for acting ability, they'd think SMG. Yet I fear they see her as Buffy, not the very talented actress whose portrayal of Buffy showed that she can do anything.

Shouldn't be so, but apparently is.

That's an interesting perspective on the strike. I never realised that before but yeah, it must've had a big impact in those cities so led by the media.

I'm glad she's (apparently) proud of Buffy but still moving on, but I wish she'd get more high quality projects. The Grudge couldn't compare to the original, and Southland could have been great but ended up pretentious and convoluted. Cruel Intentions was a great movie so it's kind of bizarre that that came before Buffy.

i think she was talking about cable shows most likely. she was talking about how they are edgy and evocotive and you would usually find shows like that on HBO, Showtime, or FX. and i know she is going to have a show on HBO soon so that is probably what she meant.
