  • What is the best program for me to use, cuz I do a cartoon with my freind and I'm trying to update from MS Paint. and don't tell me Adobe Illustrator because thats to complicated for me to make thousands of pictures on & though it can be done it would take forever.

  • I think im a pretty good designer..i worked in a newspaper a while back designing ads..but they didn't use photoshop..it was all illustrator and i couldnt use my skills on that program, Is there a way for photoshop to produce high quality print designs like illustrator?

    Btw Is everything in illustrator vector based? like can you apply a gradient to a shape Or import an image without it being rasterized?

  • i just love photoshop..i too work in a newspaper making ads. i do my arts mostly in photoshop, if its a small art. but if it is a big one i would suggest you use adobe Indesign/ illustrator. because they dont raster or pixelate text like photoshop does

  • There is no easy way to do it. Basically your image would have to be recreated using a vector method.

  • ima photoshop noob too but i think vector method = the method using the pen tool

    I think thats how you switch a rasterized image into a vector

  • Yeah you can. Place the image into Illustrator and use the Live Trace Tool. This will convert any image into a vector graphic.
